“Whatever Luhan. Goodbye everyone!” Yunhee good-naturedly greeted and one by one started to leave, minus Sehun like always.

As she continued her walk towards the elevator, a voice halted her movement by calling her field name. “Can I tag along?” Baekhyun asked as he sheepishly rubbed his nape. There was this shy smile on his face which appeared rarely in her opinion. Yunhee returned him a smile and nodded. “Sure, why not. It’s boring eating alone anyway.”

“Why are you not taking the car?” He questioned again and turned to look at her face while the elevator gone up to the lobby. “My house is not that far Byun. You know that already.” She replied as she turned to look at him as well.

The memory after the 19th KISS Anniversary party came to their mind. That night was cold but for some reason she did not feel that way when Baekhyun appeared in the picture – filling up the empty atmosphere between her and Kiseop’s awkward episode. “You didn’t return my jacket though.” He snapped her out of her trance.

Yunhee suddenly became flustered and remembered that he did lend her his jacket. She had no idea where that piece of clothing in her house. “Sorry. I’ll give it to you when I found it. It’s been such a hard time after that you know?” She spoke and both of the laughed it away.

It took a few steps down the block before they arrived at a decent place for a quick night meal. To be honest, the two did not really have the appetite to fill their stomach to the fullest. Their minds were not in its place but still their body managed to bring them to a table situated at the far end of the restaurant. It was good to know there was a restaurant opened till late night.

“I wonder how Chanyeol is doing.” Yunhee broke their silence after they gave their order to a waiter that came to their table. “I’m sure he’s fine.” Baekhyun shortly assured. For some reason there was this weird feeling tingling his heart. ‘I’m not jealous of Yeol am I? She is just being kind and concern about your friend Baek. Nothing more.’ He thought deeply and a pout formed on his face.

“What are you thinking Byun?” She stated in a questioning tone and lightly giggled. Baekhyun’s eyes wandered off in embarrassment once he heard her giggle. There was a tint of red colouring his cheeks. “Stop calling me that when we are not working. It’s... It doesn’t sound friendly.” He frankly said and saw her smiling.

“Nah, I like Byun just fine.” She confessed and waved her hand in front of his face as if she was in denial mode. “You...like Byun?” Baekhyun asked after registering what she had slipped out of with a playful smile plastered on his face.

‘Well it’s too late to deny. Think Yunhee think!’ She panicky contemplated in her mind. There was a light bulb flickering with an idea after seconds of thinking. “Yeah, I like Byun. My partner when we are working.”

Baekhyun disappointedly slumped his shoulders with a thought that she had not heard his confession that. He sighed and thought once the waiter brought their ordered meals.

‘I guess she really didn’t hear it. Then there’s still time to get to know her better.’

‘Sorry, Baek. I can’t simply accept your sudden confession. Not when we still have more important things to settle back in KISS.’

Both of them remained silent throughout their late dinner and munched their food half-heartedly with mind full of thoughts and answers that have not been answered.

Morning soon came as soon as light came through the window of her apartment. She groaned as her body tossed and the comfort of her bed. It was weekend but she constantly reminded herself that her job is not an ordinary one and villains never rest. After managing to push her body of the bed, she trudged towards her bathroom immediately. As much as she wanted to slow down, she could not do so when she knew her assistants would be waiting for her arrival.

Meanwhile back in KISS Agency, Luhan and Sehun already sitting on their sofa with thoughtful faces. Both of them were silent until someone greeted out of the blue. They jolted in shock and looked at the new figure.
