Exactly three days passed by with ease and like any other typical mission-less days, the duo practiced in the simulation room. Since it would be crowded to train three at the same time, Baekhyun and Yunhee would always be in the room together, leaving the tall one to train alone but Yunhee helped with his moves and taught him a few techniques that would be useful in the future.

Although the figures in the simulation room that Sehun set for them were just in 3D forms, the effects left on them felt so real – minus bruises and such since it was just graphics. Yunhee hastily wiped the beads of sweat on her forehead as she exited the simulation room after an hour of training. Baekhyun tailed behind her with almost the same reaction. Chanyeol as what he would always do held out two cold mineral water bottles.

“Where’s Luhan? I haven’t seen him today.” Baekhyun asked to no one in particular but the other three knew the question was for them. “Me too. He was here in the morning before you three came and disappeared.” Sehun replied as he shut down the simulation room for the day. Once he was sure it was properly turned off, his spun on his seat to glance at the others.

“Really? It’s been quiet without him here.” Yunhee simply uttered and earned a nod from the two best friends.

As the silence began to creep into the room, the door slid open and a frantic Luhan came running with apparently huge news. “President Shin called you three in his office. It sounded urgent.” He informed while panting tiredly. Was he literally running from the other side of the room where President Shin’s room located?

Yunhee led the way to the door but halted once she saw her two mentees did not budge from their spot. “Byun. Yeol. Let’s go.” She said as she pointed the door with her thumb. She sighed and resisted the urge to roll her eyes. “Guys let’s go!” She yelled and got Chanyeol’s attention.

“Byun Baekhyun! Let’s go!” Yunhee hollered again but tugged him by his right arm to bring him along. “Seriously, why are you being so blank today?! First while training in the simulation room. Second is now.” She continued to babble while exiting the room. Her two loyal assistants just glanced at each other.

“How come I didn’t notice he was in a blank state while in the simulation room?” Sehun asked the elder and pointed to himself. Luhan answered with a shrug after finishing his sentence. “It’s either you didn’t focus or there is something going on with those two.”

“Good point. They even disappeared together three days ago when you suggested Baekhyun to buy her Latte Macchiato.”

With a quick rap on the wooden door to the conference room, the team of three entered one by one. Once all of them stood in a line in front of the President’s typical long table, they witnessed a worried expression with a mix of seriousness of course. But there was an intense glare thrown on the rookie male agent.

“Why did you call us President Shin?” Yunhee immediately asked and Soohyun gestured them their seats. They heard him sighed after sitting down and they knew the news was a big one.

“By any chances you heard the name Kang Jungmin?” President of KISS Agency questioned the three hesitantly. There were emptiness in Chanyeol’s and Yunhee’s eyes after the question came out from the President’s mouth but his hope was saved by the rookie.

“Isn’t Kang Jungmin the famous inventor in Korea? The one that graduated the university with a master degree in Advance Technology by the age of 19.” Baekhyun concluded with slight doubt in his tone and he softly smiled when he saw the President nodded his head. Yunhee seemed to remember the name after Baekhyun sum up in such way.

“He’s born genius in Science especially in the inventing part.” She added and earned another nod of approval. “Yes, indeed he is a genius but sadly he is missing without any trace.” Soohyun reported and their eyes widened in shock.
