“Friend. A buddy.” His eyes widened when a quick flashback came by his mind and her playful singing voice filed in.

“You drive the Lamborghini LP-560?! Is this even legit?”

“Well, it was Soohyun’s before he gave it to me since he had a better one. That guy always gave me second hand things.”

“You just talk to... your car.”

“That is pretty normal. We used to best buddies and now we’re not. I wish you could tell me why~!”

His index finger immediately reached the button to the first floor. Once he arrived at the floor, he warily stepped out of the elevator and walked towards the company’s car park. The car park was unsurprising silent since no one rarely there since only the field agents could access the area other than the Mr President of KISS Agency himself.

With the drink in his hand, his eyes wandered around only to find a girl leaning on her white luxurious car. From afar, he could see stressfulness in her eyes. She had earphones plugged on both of her ears as she wordlessly wiped the car.

Slowly approaching the female agent, he sighed at the sight of her dull expression. The girl looked up from her work when she suddenly sensed a somewhat-expected guest. Taking off the earphones, she left the cloth she had been holding and faked a smile.

“Hey Byun. What are you doing here? I was just about to meet you guys at my room.” Yunhee said emptily and Baekhyun knew her intonation. He softened but held out the cup in his hand. “I brought you a drink. Luhan said it might help you calm down a little.”

Yunhee’s smile wiped off rather quickly and tried to refuse the offer but the rookie field agent placed it in front of her sight. Their eyes met and Yunhee knew better to give in to his kind gestures. She thanked him and cracked a half-hearted smile as she sipped her favourite drink.

“I feel like going somewhere. Wanna follow?” She genuinely invited him and nodded to her car. Baekhyun bobbed his head and shrugged. “Sure. Why not?”

Before he got to ask where they would be heading, the car already zoomed out of the underground car park. There were a few traffic lights on their way and the atmosphere was silent but not an awkward one. Baekhyun glanced at the car window from his passenger seat beside her and rolled down the window.

“Where are we going Yunhee-ah?” Baekhyun asked and Yunhee resisted the urge to look at him because she had to focus on her driving. “Somewhere that could ease my mind besides the drinking coffee.” She replied and he saw her smile. It was little but enough to make him felt the warmness in his body.

‘I wonder what this feeling is all about.’ He thought as a similar expression came to his face without him realising it.

Soon the large and tall buildings were replaced with greenery and evergreen trees. He assumed they were already out of town and it amazed him how fast they left the town so fast. Oh wait, he was riding on a very fancy car. That might explained the amazing speed. “We’re here.” Yunhee said shortly as she parked the car and got off with Baekhyun followed her from the other side.
