“Now... time for my updates...” Minseok rubbed his hands together while tiptoeing towards his laptop. It was past midnight and all the other members of EXO were asleep. He was the conscious soul around there right now.

Slowly and silently, he made his way to the living room and opened the laptop.

“ ‘I love your cute eyes.’ Jongdae Minseok’s hair. ‘I love your smiles…’ Upon hearing that, Minseok got flustered. He didn’t know what to do, what to say… Should he just take that as a brotherly joke or was there something more behind his bandmate’s words?” he typed while slowly whispering every letter he wrote.

“But I hate you for thinking things like those.”

That hadn’t come out from Minseok’s mouth. It was someone else’s voice, someone standing right behind him with his arms crossed and brows knitted, someone who was nearing him every passing second.

“J-Jongdae…” Minseok stuttered turning around to face the angry main vocal. “What are you-“ without even completing his sentence, Minseok turned back to the laptop and harshly closed it. He was shaking in fright.

“I should ask that to you!” Jongdae spat in anger.

“I…”

Minseok couldn’t say anything more. His body had just stiffened and made him a statue with a thumping heart. He could swear at this rate, the beating of his heart would just break shatter him into a thousand pieces.

“Are you in love with me?” Jongdae continued. “Are you, huh?”

Minseok still couldn’t move. Tears began forming in his eyes.

Jongdae slowly bent down to Minseok’s level and wiped his tears saying “Your face is just too precious to be drenched with tears.”

However, upon seeing the shock on the elder’s face, he burst out laughing. The sound of his laughter was more painful for Minseok than anything he had experienced  up till now. The tears began flowing faster.

Slowly, Jongdae’s laughter died down and a serious expression formed on his face.

“Hey, answer me.” He said to Minseok. “Do you love me or not?”

Minseok’s gaze dropped on his hands which were tightly holding onto his laptop.

“Y-Yes…” he stuttered.

The furrow on Jongdae’s brows deepened. Then suddenly, after shooting Minseok a dark glare, a smile creeped on his face.

“Then let’s write the end of this story together.” He said in a warm tone while seating himself beside Minseok and circling his arms around him.

Minseok tried pushing him, saying things like “Don’t kid with me! Don’t make fun of me!” but it was of no use. Jongdae just held him tighter.

“I’m not.” He said with a firm voice. “I’m serious. Sorry for scaring you. I just… wanted to make sure that you really loved me before jumping into conclusions in my head. I’ve been listening to you typing down your stories for a while you know?”

Minseok’s eyes were about to pop out of their sockets.

“Y-y-you are s-serious r-right?” he stuttered wildly. “You won’t burst out laughing again right?”

“No.” Jongdae shook his head before kissing Minseok on the nose. “I won’t.”

Minseok smiled to himself before muttering “So, the story will have a really sweet ending, huh?”

“No.” Jongdae responded, making Minseok nervous. “It will have a REALLY hot ending.”

 “Let me show you how…”

“So, you say that I should first separate us-them- to make the story more uh…  Striking?” Minseok questioned Jongdae.

The latter just nodded.

“Believe me.” He said. “Look at us, do you think we would be like this if I didn’t scare you at first?”

Minseok wanted to say ‘Yes’ but just seeing the look in Jongdae’s eyes made him not to and he decided to just go along with Jongdae’s idea this time.

“Okay…” he sighed.

“So, can I sleep here for tonight?” Jongdae threw himself on Minseok’s bed.

“It’s not like your bed’s too far away…” Minseok muttered but nodded anyway.

“All this discussion made me VERY tired, you know?” Jongdae said closing his eyes.

‘Yeah…’ Minseok thought. All they did for the entire night was VERY HOT discussions about Minseok’s story. Nothing more.

“But somehow, I feel content with  just that.” Minseok said to himself while laying down beside Jongdae.
