It was a beautiful Saturday morning, the season was autumn and Hana loved autumn mornings.

The boys, her boyfriend Kris’ friends, had come over and they were all chatting about nonsensical things like why the leaves wouldn’t turn purple instead of yellow or orange or brown.

It was a fun topic until the big moth Chanyeol couldn’t hold his tongue and commented “Probably because that Ai Xing loves purple. Even the all loving mother nature wouldn’t be able to love her.”

Ai Xing… She was Kris’ ex and, though Hana didn’t know why since Kris or the other guys didn’t talk much about her, she wasn’t very well loved by the gang.

But the comment made Hana upset anyway. She was a kind soul and any bad comment directed to anyone would make her sad.

“That wasn’t very nice of you, Yeol.” she said furrowing her brows. “She was once loved by KRis, right? That’s also insulting my hubby.”

The room went silent.

After a few minutes of Chanyeol shaming himself and others allowing him to, Baekhyun attempted to change the topic saying “By the way, where is Kris?”

For a moment, Hana’s bright face fell but she quickly picked her smile back up and told him “Oh, Ai Xing called him last night telling she was here and wanted to talk to him. So I told him to go.”

“That !” Jongin shot up muttering. “It’s almost her fiancee’s due date and he goes to play around with his tish ex?!”

Yes, Hana was pregnant, for over 8 months now. Soon, she would be able to hug her triplets.

“Momy and sons decided that was the right thing to do.” Hana said caressing her belly. “Kris must talk to her. They didn’t have a proper break-up right? Just a text from Kris saying ‘we can’t continue this relationship being so far away from each other’ right?”

As Joonmyeon began his protest beginning with a “Yet…” the door banged and someone stormed inside shouting.

“WHERE IS THAT PREGNANT WITH MY LOVER’S BABY, HUH?!”

It was Ai Xing and she was furious. As soon as she spotted Hana’s sitting figure on the living room couch, she began running towards her.

“YOU,” she was screaming. “YOU ! YOU AND YOUR LITTLE DEVILS WILL DISAPPEAR!”

If the boys, Jongdae and Minseok to be exact, hadn’t held her back in time; she would’ve puched Hana to the floor.

Ai Xing got flustered for a second from the sudden interruption, but quickly pulled herself together and kicked Hana’s shoulder to make her fall.

It was a futile attempt, Hana wouldn’t fall from the couch from that much. But she had lost her balance anyway and that was enough for Ai Xing.

With a sudden shrug, she freed herself and pushed Hana to the floor.

It was then that a desperate shout was heard.

“HANA!”

Kris had finally came into the room and was kneeling beside the bleeding Hana.

“Quick guys! Call the doctor!” Kyungsoo yelled at the rest.

Jongin who was already on the phone yelled back “The doctor says it will be too late if we try to take her to the hospital. She will instruct us so hurry up!”

As if everyone shared one mind, they started movingin synch. Jongdae and Minseok, who had once again gotten a hold of Ai Xing, dragged her outside and locked the door afterwards. Chanyeol took Kris to another room and the other guys started preparing clean clothes and warm water for Hana’s labour.

Kris was yelling at Chanyeol “Let go of me! I wanna be with Hana! Chanyeol, let me go!” and Chanyeol was yelling back at him “It is all your fault you fcuk! Stay here!”

They spent about an hour there yelling at each other and Kris trying to get out. But suddenly, after hearing the cries of the babies, they froze and went silent.

Then, they heard Hana’s begging voice “Please, let Kris in. I want him to see our sons. Please, let him in.”

And, Kris went in. To his Hana. To their babies.

Though, Kyungsoo tried to stop him going near Hana, Joonmyeon stooped him and allowed Kris to go through.

“Guys, let the happy family be alone for a while.” Joonmyeon whispered and took the exhausted boys to where Chanyeol was.

They were sure Ai Xing would be back. All of them, including Hana, knew that. But they could think about that later.

Now, they were all in bliss.
