The next few months went by so fast. Kim, Mel and Matt was so busy since its their last year in college. Kim drown herself in her studies and sometimes go out  with Matt and Mel partying. She enjoyed her life without Ge, not even once did Ge came to her mind. One day, during a party in a club while enjoying their drinks a guy came up to Kim.

Guy: Hi Ms. Can I buy you drink?

Kim: I'm sorry, do I know you?

Guy: (smiled) I'm sorry, I'm Xian. Xian lim. and you are?? (extends his arm)

Kim: Kim, Kim Chui. Nice to meet you. (Shoke his hand)

Xian: So about that drink, can I buy you one?

Kim: Sure (smiled)

Xian went to the bar and ordered kim a drink. He went back to where Kim was standing.

Xian: Here you go! A drink for a beautiful lady.

Kim; Thanks (smiled)

Xian: So.

Kim: It was nice meeting you. I'll see you around.

Xian: Can I atleast have your number?

Kim: Kung magkikita ulet tayo sa ibang lugar maybe then ibibigay ko yung number ko. 

Xian: Is that even possible?

Kim; Malay mo. Let destiny take its course (gigled)

Xian: (grinned) Well then i'll see you when I see you. (extend his hand out) Nice meeting you again Ms. Chui.

Kim; Nice meeting you too Mr. Lim (shoke his hand) Bye.

Kim walked over to their table where Matt and Mel was and sat down.

Mel: Hoy! Babae! NAkita ko yun!

Kim: (acted innocent) huh? ang alin? 

Mel: asus! painosente pa ang drama. Sino yung guy??

Kim: (smiled) Wala, just a guy. 

Matt: Lagot ka kay Gerald nyan.

Mel: (kicked Matt under the table) Matt!

Matt: Aray!! Babe grabe! ang sakit!!

Kim: okay lang Mel, actually sa totoo lang. hindi sumasagi sa isip ko si ge this past few months.

Mel: so ibig sabihin okay ka na?

Kim: anong okay?

Mel: As in okay na? okay na nakapagmove on ka na?

Kim: Move on? I think so. I'm happy so I guess okay na ko.

Matt: Open ka na rin makipagdate sa iba?

Kim: Why not? I'm single. Pag may dumating na okay naman na guy bakit hindi?

Mel; Wow ha? wala na kong masense na kabitteran sayo.

Kim: Bitter? Bakit? dahil iniwan ako? Siguro naman hindi lahat ng lalaki iiwan ako di ba?

Matt: Hindi ka naman iniwan eh. Ikaw tong ayaw..

Mel: MAtt! 

Matt: Sorry.

Kim: Kayo talagang dalawa. Tama na nga tong usapang ito! Enjoy na lang natin tong araw na toh!!

They went home at around three. Kim went straight to bed and was thinking about their topic earlier.

Kim; (thinking) Kamusta na kaya sya? Masaya na kaya sya? Sana okay sya. Bye na Gerald. I think its about time for me to be happy.Kung nasan ka man ngayon. I wish you all the happiness and the best in life. 

With that thinking Kim fell asleep with a smile on her face, ready to open her heart again.

The next few weeks were just hectic for Kim. One day she decided to grab coffee in Starbucks, she was sitting at a corner table reading a book when a guy approached her. 

Guy: Excuse me Ms.

Kim; Yes? (without looking at the man)

Guy: I think you owe me your number

Kim; (looked up) Oh my gosh! 

Xian: Hey! (smiled) May I join you?

Kim; Sure, please sit down.

Xian: It must be my lucky day (grinned)

Kim: (gigled) What are you doing here?

Xian: Wala, gusto ko sana kumain ng cinnamon roll, fav ko kasi yun eh.

Kim: talaga? ako din. fave ko din yun. (smiled)

Xian: Cge, wait lang. Oorder lang ako.

Kim: Hindi, wag na.

Xian: I insist Ms. Chui! (smiled)

Kim:(just smiled)

Xian went to the counter to order and Kim went back reading her book. When she looked up, she saw Xian looking at her and was smiling so she smiled back at him feeling a bit giddy because its the first time after her breakup that a guy was actually interested with her. She spent the wholde day with Xian. Talking about each other's life and in they ended exchanging numbers.

That night Xian texted Kim...
