The next day while eating breakfast

Ken: Kuya what time ka dumating kagabe? I was waiting for you

Ge: Past midnight na. ang sarap kasi ng kwentuhan namin ni Kim eh. 

Ken: Dad called last night. He wanted to talk to you.

Ge: Bakit daw? May problema daw ba?

Ken: He wants us to leave the day after tomorrow.

Ge: What?! Bakit?

Ken: Ewan ko kuya. nakabook na yung flights natin nina mommy.

Ge: Alam na ba toh ni mama? What did she say?

Ken: Of course she's okay with it. The sooner we leave, the sooner you'll get your treatment.

Ge: Where is mom? I need to talk to her. May 1 week pa dapat ako eh. Paano na si Kim.

Ken: I'm sorry kuya. We need to leave para makapagpagaling ka na. 

Ge: How am I gonna tell this to Kim?

Ken: Kuya do you remember Rachel??

Ge: Rachel? Yeah, kababata natin nung sa states pa tayo. Why?

Ken: Well, dad bumped into her the other day and she asked for your number. So expect a call from her.

Ge: Okay, haay! I don't know what to do.

Ken: Just tel ate Kim the truth Kuya, that you're sick and you nedd to get treatment. 

Ge: Hindi ko pde gawin yun. 

Ken: Bakit?

Ge: Ayoko isama sya sa pagdadaanan ko. I don't want to burden her.

Ken: So it's better to lie to her?

Ge: Oo, kaysa makita ko syang nasasaktan at nahihirapan. It's better this way. Bahala na siguro. 

Ken: Ha? Paano yun Kuya?

Ge: Ewan, I'll talk to her later

Gerald called Kim if she can go to their house to hang out and she said yes. When she arrived

Doorbell....

Ken: Ate Kim, kamusta?

Kim: Hey Ken, asan ang kuya mo? Dala kong yung favorite dish nya. 

Ken: Asa kwarto Ate nagpapahinga ata

Kim: Ahh, tulog ba

Ken: Ewan ko ate

Kim: ANo kaya ginagawa ng mokong na yun

Ken: ewan ko, cge ate, akyatin mo na lang si Kuya.

kim: Okay, Thanks Ken. akyat ko na rin toh ha? para mapatikim ko kagad sa kanya yung luto  ko.

On the way to Gerald's room..

Kim: (thinking) Sana magustuhan ni Ge toh.

Then Kim heard Gerald talking she stopped ang peaked inside his room. He was pacing around the room and was chatting so she listened.

Ge: Rache, you don't understand.

Rache: (on the phone) You need to leave, you need to be here.

Ge: I'm leaving soon. 

Rache: Good, i miss you pats!

Ge: I miss you too bru! 

Rache: I heard you have a girlfriend.

Ge: Yeah, her name is Kim.

Rache: Does she know about your illness?

Ge: No, she doesn't know. She has no idea about this. It doesn't matter anyway, I'm leaving her soon. 

When Kim heard that line, her eyes started to tear. Asking herself what is going on with Gerald? Is he really leaving me.

Rache: Stupid ! You should tell her. Tell her you're sick. She deserves to know. 

Ge: I don't know, maybe all she needs to know is that i'm leaving the day after tomorrow. 

Rache: You are still stubborn! Well, I'll talk to you soon. I love you pats, see you soon!

Ge: Yeah, see you soon and don't worry i'm considering telling her. I love you too bru! Bye.

When Kim heard those three words she dropped the food that she was holding and Ge looked at where she was standing.

Ge: Kim? 

Kim ran downstairs and ge was following her until Ge got a hold of her on the front yard.

Kim: Let go of me Gerald.

Ge: Kim, you don't understand. 

Kim: Alin ang hindi ko naintindihan Ge? (crying) 

Ge: Kung ano man ang narinig mo hindi ganun ang ibig sabihin nun. 

Kim: Then ano? Tell me iiwan mo nga ba ako? Sagutin mo ko are you leaving me? 

Ge: Kim..

Kim: Sumagot ka!! (Crying hard)

Ge: Kim I'm leaving pero hindi dahil..

Kim: Tama na ge! Ganun na lang yun?? Pagkatapos mo sabihin sakin kagabi na mahal mo ko? basta basta mo na lang ako iiwan? Pareho ka lang ng ibang lalaki! Manloloko ka!!!

Ge: Kim hindi mo nai... (crying)

Kim: Tapos na tayo Ge! Break na tayo! ( threw the promise ring to Ge and ran away)

Ge: (crying) Kim!.... 

Gerald went back inside their house...

Ken; Kuya what the hell happened??

Gerald: It's over Ken.. Kim and I are over.. (Crying) (went upstairs and locked himself inside the room just crying his heart out)
