Soon the chilly fall days, turned into cold winter nights. Leaves that left unraked were buried underneath the first snow of the year. Luhan has a warm smile on his face as he walks to the bookstore; he likes the sound of snow crunching under his footsteps.

After hurriedly opening the door, he stomps his feet on the welcome mat to get rid of the snow stuck on his shoes. Then, he skips all the way to the back room and hangs his coat on the coatrack. He decides to leave his scarf and hat on because it felt a bit chilly in the store this morning.

Before checking on the organization of the books, Luhan sets the heater on a comfortable 75 degrees.

Three hours passed, five customers checked out, 6 books rented out, and Luhan finally sees the customer he’s been waiting for the whole morning. He couldn’t help but smile.

“Good Morning Sir”

The customer walks up to the desk and places down two books that he rented last week. Luhan types away on his computer, but he couldn’t help but feel nervous with the stares from the man.

“You know I’m probably not that much older than you. So you don’t have to call me ‘Sir’….” He stops as Luhan looks up and tilts his head to the side, but continues, “It makes me feel old. I’m only 22.”

Luhan giggles like a school girl, “Sorry, should I call you Sehun-ssi?”

Sehun shakes his head, “I like when people call me Hyung.”

Luhan giggles some more, causing Sehun to feel like he needs to explain himself, “I was always the maknae…Plus I rarely meet anyone that’s younger than me.”

“Ok, Hyung are you going to take any books with you today?” Luhan cutely leans forward with his elbows on the desk.

This time its Sehun’s heart that skips a beat.
