Chorong had only seen him dance when she first saw him. He wasn't the best dancer - Jongin and Yixing definitely nailed the steps better than he did - but it was enough to make her notice him. Distinguishly short compared to his friends (except Kyungsoo, she thinks), however big enough to block her from reality.

Two weeks after she first saw him, it was a week to their performance, and they were having intense training. She brought him a waterbottle and a towel in case he needed it, but obviously she wouldn't be so straightforward. Well, she's Park Chorong - queen of excuses, master of fraud - it wouldn't be hard for her to make up a lie on the spot. But when she saw him, absolutely dripping with sweat, with his shirt sticking to his chest, isn't it enough a reason to chicken out?

She ran away and screamed in the toilet.

On the performance day itself, Chorong reminded herself that she would talk to him. She made an excuse to her friends so that she can search for him before he had to stand by. However, when she was unable to find him, she was disappointed.

Your fault for running away the first time round, she scolded herself.

She was just about to give up when she heard a mellow voice behind her.

"Don't tell me you're gonna run away again as if I'm some monster under your bed"

She spun around and almost crashed into him. Unable to say anything, she grinned like an idiot.

"Hyung, let's go," his friend called him, saving them from the awkward atmosphere.

"Good luck," Chorong said, holding out a fist.

"Thanks," Joonmyeon grinned and initiated a fist bump.

Chorong returned to the toilet, screaming.
