It was the morning of the showcase of Halcyon, and the arena they would perform was sold out in two minutes.  Over 2,000 seats were sold out at the Chunma Arts Center Grand Hall, not including the media that was supposed to also attend.  The girls showed up at the venue to practice for the last time to practice, and the girls were going nuts because:

1. They were excited

2. They each drank two cans of sun drop to keep their energy up

 

            “IM SO EXCITED BECAUSE TONIGHT IS THE NIGHT!” Yora screamed as the girls arrived backstage to their dressing room and she face planted on the couch.  “LET’S GO REHEARSE FOR THE LAST TIME” Yu Ni said and the girls all ran to the stage and went over with Yu Ni with what to practice first.  “First act is My Kind of Love, then Dark Horse, Absolutely Final Goodbye, and then Legendary Lovers” Yu Ni said as she looked over some papers she had laid out on stage, and the girls nodded.  “Remember girls it will only be the instrumental versions playing, so it is all on your voices” Yu Ni said and the girls nodded as they got into position.  The music started and the girls performed their best and sang their hearts out.  They sang the other three songs and quickly went on to the next Act:

            “This is the retro kind of theme so make it have that feel!” Yu Ni said and the girls nodded.  The girls started to do the choreography with their vintage microphones and used them as props during the dances.  Once they were done with those four songs, they moved to practice the next Act:

            “Remember that Think You is a more slow song and not as upbeat so really stay calm for this one, mainly for Amelia” Yu Ni said and Amelia just starred at her to make her uncomfortable, which worked.  The girls started to practice, but had to redo some things that could have been better.  Once they were done with those three, Yu Ni mentioned a short interview the girls would have (like 6 minutes) and then they went on the practice the next and last Act.

            “The two are the songs that close the show so make it smooth and just relaxing that people can sway to.” Yu Ni said and the girls nodded, “Like hippies” Yora said innocently and Yu Ni just starred at her while the other girls laughed.  “Never the less, let’s practice these two and then you girls will be done to rest for later” Yu Ni replied and the girls nodded and sat on the stools they would sit on for the two songs.  Once they were done, the girls ran off the stage before anyone could say anything, and went to eat pizza that was waiting for them.  “Woah wait, what did you girls eat last night?” Dae Jung asked the girls as they tore the pizza to shred.  “Taco Bell” The thirteen said at once and he raised and eyebrow, “And what did you girls have this morning?” He asked again and the girls said in unison, “McDonalds”. “And you girls are eating pizza now?” He asked and the girls nodded.

 

            To waste some time, the girls ran around the arena since they needed to wear off some MONSTER energy drink energy they got, played two hours of Just Dance 4, and took many power naps.  It was already six in the evening and the girls started to get their hair and makeup done, and then get into their first outfit:

 

 

 

            Since Alexia, Eun Joo, and Alisa were the first ones done, the girls looked from backstage to see how many people were coming, and there were a lot.  “Holy Jesus that’s a lot” Eun Joo said and the girls started to get excited, nervous, but excited.  The three ran backstage and started screaming, “What’s wrong?” Dae Jung asked in a panic and the girls shook their heads “So.Many.People” Alisa said and the girls got really excited.  “Really?” Nakyung asked as she walked out of the dressing room.  “Yes! The media is like setting up their little cameras and computers! And the fans have like posters and banners and cute stuff!” Alexia replied and everyone started to get excited.  Once everyone was done, the girls started to stretch and warm up their voices.  “Halcyon in 5 minutes” One of the backstage crew members said and the girls nodded, and then more nerves started to kick in.  “I’m so nervous” Eun Ae said and started to shake out her nerves.

 

            “We’ll be fine! Let’s do a group prayer circle! EVERYONE!” Baicheng yelled and all HRT staff came into the circle to do a quick prayer, “Let Halcyon do well tonight to please our new fans and for the media to give us good reviews, and just to see everyone having fun tonight.  Also for us to not have any nerves when we set foot on that stage tonight, just let us have luck on our side tonight” Nakyung said and everyone nodded.  “HANDS IN!” Jaekyun said and everyone put their hands in, “1..2..3, BEST DAYS, HALCYON DAYS, WE’RE GONNA BLOW YOUR MINDS AWAY” Everyone yelled and threw their hands up in the air.

 

            “Halcyon needs to be on stage” The same backstage crewmember said and the girls nodded, running to the stage and getting into position.  The girls held hands for one last time after their intro video ended. My Kind of Love begun to play and the fans started screaming as Alisa started to sing.  The fans started to sing the song as the girls sang and dance, so the girls couldn’t help to have smiles on their faces.  After it ended, Dark Horse started to play:

            The girls then did a quick interview, Jaekyu and Lixi from Absolute being the MC’s, and they asked the girls general questions (kinda) like their nationalities and asked where they are from and what makes Halcyon and any message for the the fans they had.  “We really just want to thank everyone who came out tonight for our showcase and it means a lot to us all from the bottom of our hearts! So we hope you can continue to support us from this day foreword!” Nakyung said and the girls did a huge group bow as fans cheered for them and chanting Halcyon.  The girls changed back into the second group outfit and stools were waiting for them on the stage.

            Once the song was finished, the fans were cheering for the girls and they all smiled.  Flashes were going off from cameras and posters were being woven everywhere.  The girls did a huge bow and thanked their fans once again before walking off the stage.  “THAT WAS SO GOOD GIRLS!” Yu Ni said and hugged each of the girls.  “I’m very impressed, the media is starting to like you guys” Dae Jung said and the girls all tried to fit on the couch at once.  “I just need to go to bed” Hye Min said and rubbed her eyes.  “I agree” Eun Joo, Eun Ae, Jaekyun, and Kiyoko said at the same time.  “We will wait for all of the fans to leave and then we can go” Dae Jung said and the girls nodded.  But all of a sudden, the girls ran to where the fans existed and decided to give them hugs.  “These girls are nuts” “These girls are caring” Yu Ni cutted Dae Jung and walked inside to clean up some things.  Lixi came up behind his sister and bear hugged her to death. “YOU WERE TOTALLY AMAZING!” He said and messed up Xiao’s hair, “YAH!” She said before chasing him off and saying things in Chinese.  “What was she saying?” Joo Young asked Baicheng.  “You do not want to know” Baicheng replied and her eyes widened as she heard more bad things that came out of those two mouths. 

 

            After hugging all of the fans, the girls got in their vans and drove back to where their puppies await them and also their beds.

Hello everyone! Sorry it took so long! I've been busy and I stayed up almost the last two nights to work on this!
