At about 6 in the evening, the 4 workers plus Kai had left the shop and went their separate ways. Kai walked to his car,expecting Krystal to follow him

but when he looked at her,it seemed that she had no intention of getting in.

''Soojung ah!'' He called after her. 

''Yes?'' She turned around and smiled, nose red from the cold.

''Get in.'' He ordered, not wanting to give her a chance to refuse.

Confused, Krystal got in. After she had buckled her seat belt, she faced Kai and asked him,

''Why are you being like this?'' Of course, not that she hated it, she just wanted to know why. Kai faced her and glared at her.

 ''It's late and cold outside and you want to go home by yourself?'' He reprimanded her.

  ''Oh yeah...but that's okay, I like the cold.''

''But do you like getting sick? Or getting in trouble?'' Realising his point, she pouted. However, on the inside,she was thankful, she knew that Kai

was like that because he cared about her, he just showed it in a different manner. The two of them rode in silence, both their hearts beating fast at their

close proximity. When they got home, they put their shoes aside and at the same time, yelled out,

''I'm going to shower first!'' They looked at each other and raced for the bathroom.

''Yah! I am going to shower first! Females should go first!''

''No way. Move it ! Ugh!''

Krystal and Kai were blocking the bathroom door, trying to push each other away. None of them would give up until Kai stopped pushing and trapped her

head between his hands.

''If you don't want to let me go first, we can always shower together.'' He whispered seductively in her ears.

''Ughh fine. I hate you.'' Kai just laughed at her. Hearing his laugh for the first time, Krystal gaped at him.

''D-Did you just laugh?'' He didn't reply, which prompted her to say something else.

''Wow! You're friends are right, I am amazing. I just made you laugh ...WOW!'' If she had said that a month or so ago, Kai would have gotten angry at her,

but now, he was smiling at how adorable she was being, spazzing over the fact that he just laughed. However, she had every right to be amazed. He 

rarely laughed, even in front of his friends.

''Okay, I get it. Now can you go out? Unless you want to see me .'' He made a movement, as it he was going to take his shirt off.

''EWWW!'' She screamed and tried to run away while covering her eyes but being the clumsy girl that she was, she bumped into a wall. The impact

made her fall on her . Kai's eyes went as wide as saucers as he ran to Krystal, who was still covering her eyes while sitting on the floor.

''Are you hurt?'' He asked while anxiously rubbing the spot that had hit the wall, her forehead.

''No, I'm fine. Now go and shower, I don't want to see you .''

''I still have clothes on you know?'' He told her, amused.

Upon hearing that, she hurriedly removed her hands and casually said,

''I knew that.''

''Yeah right.''

After the both of them had showered, Kai asked,

''What's for dinner?''

Krystal went to check the fridge while drying her hair with a towel. As soon as she saw what was in the fridge, she smiled sheepishly.

''Hehe, can we eat out? There's nothing to eat.''

''Aishh, fine, hurry and change.'' He grunted.

Krystal changed into a pair of black tights and a grey sweatshirt while Kai wore black pants with a blue long sleeved shirt. His eyes travelled to Krystal

who was already wearing her shoes.

''Soojung ah. Come here.'' He motioned with one hand while the other was holding something. She walked forward and blinked in confusion when he placed

something warm over her head and covering her ears.

''What's this?''

''A beanie.''

''Why are you making me wear a beanie?''

''Seriously? Your hair is wet, it's cold outside. Do you really not care about your health at all?'' He huffed.

''I do, it's just not that important. Well what about you? Are you not going to wear one? Or is your hair already dry?''

''My hair is dry thanks to you. You took such a long time in the shower, I had time to dry it.'' He explained. Before exiting the house, he turned around and 

made sure that the beanie was covering her ears fully by pulling it down once more.

*Badump badump*

 

Gosh, his actions are making me fall for him harder.

The married couple chose to walk to a nearby Chinese restauruant after discussing for a while.

''What do you want to eat?'' Kai asked her once they had sat down.

''Ermm...'' Krystal bit her lip while surveying the menu not knowing what she was doing to Kai.He gulped and tried to tear his eyes away from her tempting

lips.

''I want this!'' She beamed and pointed to a dish. He nodded and ordered for them. While waiting for the food to arrive,Krystal suddenly laughed, looking

at her phone screen.

''Why?'' Kai questioned, pertaining to why she laughed all of a sudden.

''Oh nothing, Sehun just sent me a really funny joke.'' She gigled. Kai raised his eyebrows.

''So you guys actually text now huh?'' He asked again,jealousy builing up inside him. She must have noticed his jealousy but before she could say 

something, the food arrived. The waitress eyed Kai and smiled flirtatiously. He glanced then smiled back. It was childish, but he wanted to make her

jealous too.

''Hey there mister, if you want anything else, you can call me.'' She batted her eyelashes.

''What if I want something too?'' Krystal asked, obviously mad that she was only paying attention to Kai, and worse, he was actually responding.

The grin on the waitress's face disappeared and she coldly said,

''You can call someone else.'' She grinned at Kai again, only to find him glaring at her. He only meant to make Krystal jealous, but the way she was

treated made him feel angry.The two ate in silence. Occasionally, one of them would look up. 

'I think I should apologise, I mean he got jealous because I was close to Sehun...but then he shouldn't have flirted back at the waitress. No. I won't 

apologise.' Krystal thought as she resumed eating. Kai was thinking that he was wrong too, but he thought that Krystal shouldn't have been too close

to Sehun, thus not apologising too. The two of them finished their meal in silence. After paying Kai stood up to leave with Krystal following.

They walked home, side by side and still not speaking to each other. Kai had no intention of talking to her until he saw her shudder and rub her hands

together. Her shirt and tights had no pocket, therefore she couldn't place them there.She was shocked when he suddenly grabbed her hand and

intertwined it with his. Immediately, her frozen hand felt much warmer.

''Sorry.'' He said. When Krystal didn't reply, he continued,

''Sorry for flirting with that waitress back there just because I got jealous.'' Krystal sighed and replied,

''I'm sorry too. Maybe I am a little too close to Sehun, but hey, he's my best friend, along with Sulli of course.'' 

After the apology, the two of them walked in silence again, but this time, with a lighter mood and no grudges. Krystal realised how much bigger Kai's

hand was, but she liked that it made her feel safe and warm, while Kai liked the fact that her hand was so small it fit into his nicely.

''Kai.'' She called out.

''No oppa this time?'' He asked.

''Nah, I realised that it sounded too girly for me, I'll call you Jongin instead. Since you call me Soojung.'' She smiled.

Kai liked the way it sounded, coming from . He smiled at her.

*Thunder*

''Jongin ah, I think it's going to rain, we better hurry up.'' Krystal urged him.

By the time they reached their house, it was already pouring. The thunder was defeaning and it scared Krystal. As they were going to sleep, Krystal

on the couch and Kai in the room, the thunder was so loud and the lightning was so scary that she gave a whimper and ran to the room.

She barged inside and startled Kai.

''Why? Are you hurt anywhere?''

''No...can I sleep here tonight? I'm scared.''

Kai chuckled and opened his arms widely, beckoning her to lie beside him. He hugged her and they both sniffed each other scents.

They lay there, hugging each other with a smile on their faces.

''Are you still scared?'' He asked , looking into the petite girl's eyes. She stared back at him.

''Nope.I feel safer when I'm with you. Wow I'm so cheesy.'' She giggled as she buried her face into Kai's chest out of embarrassment.

He chuckled and replied,

''I like it.''

A few minutes later, Kai asked a question that shocked Krystal.

''Soojung ah, do you want to start sleeping on my bed?'' He realised how much more complete and comfortable it feels to have her beside him.

Wow... I feel like I'm always smiling while writing this. I usually write about 6-7 pages on paper and that's about 2k words, but this time I wrote 3 pages and improvised as I typed so forgive me if it's shorter and crappier than usual. hehe.
