Krystal POV 

After the bell rang,I hurried over to the canteen,only to be stopped by three girls riddled with heavy makeup. I politely smiled at them before proceeding

to walk but they called me.

"Yah!''

I turned around and replied with a ''Yes?''

''Who do you think you are? Ignoring us?'' I just stood there, staring at them blankly.

''You b!tch! You hang out with our oppas then you want to sit beside Kai oppa? You ! Arghh!'' One of them shouted while the other two started 

kicking me and grabbing my hair. To be honest, it hurt like hell,but at that moment,the only thing I was hoping for was that Kai would not come over

and see me in this state, because I know that he would not care or do anything at all,and that would hurt more.

''Yah. What do you think you guys are doing?'' I heard a man's voice say. I looked up with expectations that it would be Kai. However, to my dismay,

it was only Suho. I scanned the crowd for Kai. I saw him standing there , frowning.

''Jungie , are you okay?'' Suho worriedly asked me while checking my face for any injury, just like how a brother would react.

''Neh oppa. You can let go of me now. Kai oppa might think the wrong way.'' I weakly told him.

He sighed but nodded. I mustered up my strength and limped to the girl's bathroom to freshen up. I glanced at Kai before going in and I saw him looking at

me. With an emotionless face. 

Yep. I definitely have to work harder, seeing that he doesn't even care that I just got beaten up.

After getting myself to look presentable again,I hurried back to the classroom. I sat down beside Kai who in turn just glanced at me. It was silent for a 

while before I cheerfully said, ''Oppa, don't worry about me. It didn't hurt that much.''

As usual, he just glanced at me. The teacher then came in and gave us some work to do. An hour passed just like that and when the bell rang, everyone

else except Kai and I rushed to get out of school and go home. I , on the other hand, just calmly packed my bag. As I prepared to leave the classroom,

Kai suddenly spoke.

''Don't lie.''

''Huh?'' I looked at him, bewildered.

''I said, don't lie. I don't like liars.''

''Uhmmm...'' I was at a loss for words. I mean who wouldn't be, when a person speaks randomly out of the blue.

Kai surprised me immensly by walkinh towards me with this intimidating aura surrounding him, giving me the impression that he was about to hit me.

I winced, bracing myself for the impact of his hit. Nothing came. I opened my eyes and saw Kai looking at me with an unreadable expression.

''Don't lie to me. I know it hurt when those girls beat you up.''

''Oppa, are you worried?'' I cheekily smiled at him.

''No I'm not. I'm just saying this so you know better and not lie to me in the future.''

''Thanks anyway.'' I nodded. Although, a part of me wished that he was lying and that the only reason why he said that was because he was starting

to warm up to me. I smiled at the thought and headed home. I had to go home alone because Kai didn't want to let me go home with him. I almost

home when I got a call from Jessica saying that she wanted to hang out with me. I agreed but I didn't know if I should inform Kai. nah, he won't 

really care. We agreed to meet up at the mall at 3 pm. It was almost 3 so I just went straight there. 

 

Hours passed by while Jessica and I were shopping and trying new foods, we didn't even notice that it was already evening.

''Jungiee~, wanna go for dinner at this place that sell really good food?''Jessica suggested.

''Okay! Let's go unnie!'' I was super excited. I mean, come on, who wouldn't be when food is on the line?

We reached there and I ordered countless things. In the midst of eating. Jessica suddenly tapped me and said,

''Jungie , I think you should get a part time job...Mom and Dad are working too hard to make sure that we are happy. I already started to work and earn

my own money. Maybe since you are still in school, just try to get a part time job to lessen their burden. Okay?''

What she said struck me. She's right. I have been depending fully on them. It's probably time to help them.

''Okay unnie. Do you think Suho oppa might be able to help me find one?'' I blurted out all of a sudden.

Jessica looked at me, shocked. She narrowed her eyes at me.

''How did you meet that jerk again?''

''Errr...He's friends with Kai oppa. Also he goes to the same school as me. Unnie do you know he started to help me make Kai oppa jealous by being

overly nice and protective.And I think it's half working!''

''That's good to know. But I don't think I want you hanging around that cheater .''

I sighed and explained to her that Suho still loves her and that he was drugged. Upon hearing that, Jessica's eyes widened.

''Why didn't I give him a chance before?'' She burried her face into her hands.

''Unnie. That's the past. What's important now is that you guys still have feelings for each other. Now, I know you erased his number from your

contacts, so here is his number. Go call him and be happy again.'' Sigh, I sound like a love expert but I can't even make the one guy that I love, love me

back.

''Arasso. Thanks Jungie. I think I better get you home, it's late and your dear husband might get worried.'' She smiled cheekily.

''Okay unnie. But he won't get worried, that's impossible.'' I shook my head. 

Jessica sent me me home and I reluctantly said goodbye to her before going inside. I walked in and was greeted by an angry-looking Kai. Well, that

is probably the first time that I managed to read his expression, it's usually just emotionless or unreadable. But I have to admit, an angry-looking Kai 

is making me want to pee my pants out of fright.

''Hi oppa...heehee'' I smiled awkwardly, trying to lessen the tension.

''Where were you?'' He growled.

Yikes. Was I going to die? Again?

''I was with Jessica unnie.''

''Why didn't you tell me?''

''I thought you wouldn't care and want to know.''

''Next time, tell me where you are going to go in...in case your parents call and want to know where you are.'' Aish..and I thought he was worried.

''Neh oppa!'' I smiled at him. No matter how small, progress is still progress.

Kai POV

Does this girl even know what I felt when she didn't show up after hours? I thought something bad happened to her. What is wrong with me? Nah. I don't

like her. I am a playboy and I always will be. Krystal is just so annoying that she is making me lose it. Yeah. That's it. I proceeded to the living room to

watch and get my mind off that freedom stealer. Moments kater, she came and sat down beside me. Ugh.

''Oppa, I have something to tell you.'' She tapped my arm eagerly like a kid seeking for attention. I just looked at her.

''It's about Suho oppa-''

''What?! You like him? I didn't know you were a playgir-'' She cut me off with a kiss on the cheek. I looked at her ,shocked and angry.

''Oppa, let me finish. It's about Suho oppa and Jessica unnie.''

''Oh.'' Seriously Kai?? You just had to make stupid assumptions.

''Don't worry oppa. I've loved you since I was 16. That won't change in a million years.

''I don't really care you know. I was just scared that hyung would like the wrong girl.'' Honestly , I unconsciously sighed in relief when I heard that. I'm

feeling really weird today.

She was slient for a while.

''So what about hyung and your sister?''

''Oh! I think they're about to get back together. EEEK!!'' She squealed.

''Huh?'' I had absolutely no idea what she was saying.

''They used to be together, but then they broke up due to a misunderstanding that Suho oppa cheated. I explained to unnie that Suho oppa didn't cheat

and that he still loved her...I really hope they get back together!'' 

''How did you know that hyung didn't cheat on her?'' I was curious.

''He told me when we went to meet EXO.''

''So you're that close? He even tells you things like that huh?'' Why am I acting like this? I am not supposed to care about what she is doing with other 

guys.

''No Oppa, don't misunderstand please? We just got close because when he was dating unnie ,he came to our house a lot and spent time with me.

He only treats me like a little sister.'' She explained.

''Don't bother explaining. I just don't want my hyung to get close to someone like you.'' With that, I went up to the room which was supposed to

be shared by me and Krystal.

I think I need a good night's sleep and a visit to the club .

Krystal POV

Days passed by quickly without me noticing. It was now Friday. These past few days, Kai was being the normal handsome jerk that he is, you know

ignoring me and stuff.BUT...I made a new friend! Her name is Choi Jinri but she prefers to be called Sulli. I found out she lives near me and I told her

all about my marriage with Kai and my unrequited love for him.

''It's okay Krystal, you never know, he may fall for you as time goes by.'' She told me when she found out.

Anyway, nothing much happened in school today except Kai ignoring me. After school, Sulli and I decided to look for part time jobs together. Surprisingly,

we found one pretty fast. It was at a cafe near school and they hired us to work as part timers. Yes! The boss said we could start working tomorrow.

I skipped home, glad at the fact that I could finally earn my money, enough to buy food at least. That way, Mom and Dad can stop giving me

pocket money. When I got home, I saw Kai about to leave. He was wearing a polo shirt that wasn't fully buttoned to the top and tucked into black pants.

He looked HOT, as usual.

''Oppa, where are you going?''

''Club.'' He answered nonchalantly.

I sighed. I hate it when he goes there because I know that he is going to kiss a random girl, but it's not like I can do anything to stop him. After all, I am

just his wife on paper.

''Okay. Don't drink too much and be safe.'' I sighed as he left.

This is just like what happened last time. Deja vu. Because of this, I suddenly remembered Changmin and Victoria. (A/N Hehe if you've forgotten, she 

went to their house when Kai went to the club)

It has been a long time so i decided to visit them. I knocked on their door and Changmin opened it.

''Oh! Krystal ah! It's been a while eh?'' Hearing my name, Victoria ran to the door.

''Krysie! How are you and Kai?'' She asked me while guiding me in.

''Still the same unnie.But he talks to me now and shows signs of concern, though he claims it's because my parents would get worried.''

''Oo lala...I think you are close to making him fall for your Krys. Trust me, most men are like that before they admit or know that they have fallen for a girl.

I was like that with Vic at first but now I can't even live a day without her.'' Changmin said.

''He is now at a club though, so I doubt I'm close.'' I sighed.

''Krysie, maybe he is there because he is confused about his feelings and wants to forget them by hooking up with some random girl.'' Victoria suggested.

''Forget about him for today Krys. Come, let's go shopping.'' Changmin told me. Victoria nodded as well.

So the three of us went to the mall to cheer me up. It wasn't necessary but the two insisted on it.

Just like that, we spent hours laughing and eating. They really managed to cheer me up. They brought me home and Victoria said,

''Krysie, trust us on this, just don't give up. You are very close to making him fall for you already. Now cheer up. Bye!'' I thanked them and went in.

I sat down on the couch. Kai was still not home. Was I really close? Before I could start to cry, I just forced myself to sleep.

Little did Krystal know, a certain someone was in the club, kissing a girl, only to push her away and ruffled his hair in frustation.
