Krystal POV

Is there a possibility to die from blushing too hard? Because I think I might die. Kai's face was so close to mine and my heart was pounding. I was really

surprised when he came up to me right after I had cut myself, since Kai is never the type of person to show care and concern for another being. I was

already blushing when he was washing my wound, but then his friends kept on teasing us, and that made me blush even more. Kai had already gone back

to his table and I was still in a daze. Sehun pulled me out of my trance by leading me to the kitchen. I looked at him, confused.

"Why did you bring me here? Is something wrong?'' I asked him.

''Nothing's wrong Krystal. It's just that..." He trailed off.

''What?''

''You said Kai doesn't like you right?''

"Yes. I mean it's so obvious.''

''Has there been any other times when he got worried about you or anything like that?'' 

''There has been a few, like when I came home late one time, he got angry. But that's just because he said that my parents would worry if they don't

know of my whereabouts, so I think that's an exception."

''I think he likes you. Why else would he act like that?''

'' Who likes who?'' Someone said from behind me. I spun around, shocked.

''Umm...'' I glanced at Sehun while biting my lip, unsure of what to say. We couldn't tell him that we were talking about him liking me, because then he would

get angry and deny it.

''Someone in our class. He...he... he keeps staring at Krystal.'' Sehun improvised. Whew. I should mentally hug him.

''Tch. I don't get why anyone would like her." Kai scoffed.

''By the way, Sehun, don't keep going to Krystal, people might misunderstand. '' Kai glared at him with piercing eyes. He then left the kitchen.

Sehun then gave me a mischievious smile and gave me a thumbs up.

''Oh yeah, I'm going to call you Tal Tal now.Get it? Krystal, Tal...Is that okay?''

''Pfft. Tal Tal? Am I a dog? '' I laughed but nodded.

''Why? I think it's cute. Tal Tal, you should go serve tables. Sulli is going to make the drinks.'' He ruffled my hair.

I have to say, Sehun is really easy to talk to. Lots of people in our school are scared of him because he rarely talks to anyone except EXO. I'm happy 

that besides Sulli and Suho, there is someone else that I can talk to really comfortably. The rest of Kai's friends are still a bit uncomfortable to be around,

even though they are really friendly. 

I went out to clean uo the tables when Luhan called me over.

''Krystal! '' He motioned for me to come with his hand.

''Yes?''

''We're going to leave now, but what time do you all get off work?''

''About 3 in the afternoon, since it's only part time.''

''Ah, I see, well we're thinking of going to the amusement park, why don't you and your friend Sulli come along?'' He suggested.

My eyes widened. Of course I want to come along. I never get tired of going there. I would ride all the rides. But if there's one thing I can't do at the 

amusement park, it's to go to the Haunted House. I am petrified of ghosts. I might break their eardrums.

''Will it be okay?''

''Of course it will! '' Suho chimed in, while giving me a 'Don't mind Kai'look.

''Okay. It's only 12. Why don't you guys head home first then come back when we're done.'' I smiled at them.

''Okay. Bye!''

They then left the cafe.

I cleared their table then excitedly went to Sulli to tell her about the invite. Her eyes sparkled and she exclaimed,

''Woah! I never thought that I would be able to go to the amusement park with EXO! It's going to be so fun ! Being with my bestie and 11 handsome

and available guys.''

''There's 12 of them.'' I pointed out.

''Yeah, but Kai's yours.'' She wiggled her eyebrows.

I just blushed.

 

 

 

Hours passed by just like that, greeting, serving people and making drinks, not to forget cleaning. The workers for the next shift came and we were

allowed to go home. I changed out of the uniform and met up with Chanyeol and Sehun.

''Tal Tal, did they tell you that we were going to the amusement park together with EXO and Sulli?'' Sehun asked me.

I nodded eagerly.

We went outside the shop and waited for them. Soon, 2 seven-seater cars stopped in front of us.

''So whose car do you want to go to?'' Kris asked me for my opinion.

I was about to answer but then Chen in by saying,

''Eyy Kris hyung, you don't need to ask her that, she will ride in Kai's car. Right?'' He pushed me to Kai's car. I blushed again. How many times am I 

going blush today??

''Chen, I didn't bring my car.'' Kai protested.

''Oh that's okay, you and Krystal can ride together in one of the cars.'' Chen suggested.

In the end, I rode in the same car as Xiumin, Luhan, Lay, Kai, Chanyeol and Sulli. Of course , Kai didn't want to sit beside me and since I was the last

one to enter the car, I had to sit backwards, facing Kai ,beside Lay, because that was the only seat left. Luhan was driving while Xiumin sat

beside him. 

''Everyone okay back there?' We're going to leave now.'' Xiumin asked.

Truthfully, I wasn't okay. I can't sit backwards because I will get carsick and vomit or faint. Should I tell them? But I don't want to complain. But then,

if I don't tell them, I may vomit and that will literally ruin their moods. Like, who will feel happy after seeing someone's chunky vomit?

I decided not to tell them though. Who knows? Maybe I will get lucky and survive this ride without throwing up?

So we drove off. All of them sitting in the back had their eyes closed with headphones plugged into their ears, while Kai was using his phone.

Me? I was looking out the window, desperately hoping that I wouldn't throw up. I think I went a bit pale a few minutes into the ride, because Kai stopped

using his phone and stared at me. He narrowed his eyes at me, and I thought that my heart was going to die.

''Yah, are you okay?'' He asked me.

I just stared at him, mouth wide open and tongue tied.

What he did next shocked the living and the dead daylights out of me. He leaned forward and touched my forehead. 

''Yah, why aren't you answering me? Are you sick? You look pale.'' 

''Uhh..'' I was at a loss of what to say. Partly because I was still shocked , not to mention of the blood from my brain went to my cheeks, and partly 

because I didn't know if I should tell him the truth.

''Yah, don't you dare lie to me...'' Kai warned.

''I can't sit backwards...'' I finally told him.

''Then why didn't you say so?'' Seriously Krystal? You made him angry once again. You should get awarded.

I was too busy scolding myself mentally that I didn't realise that Kai was hovering above me, or should I say trying to stand up but crouching instead

because he is too tall.

''What are you waiting for? Get up.'' He urged me.

''Uhh, okay...thanks.'' I flashed him a greatful smile. That was all that I was planning to do but then my hormones got the better of me and I kissed him

on the cheek. He glared at me.

''How many times do I have to tell you not to do that?'' He scolded.

''Hehe, that was just my way of saying thanks , you know, for caring about me.'' I blushed. Gosh, I wish he would just fall in love with me already.

I may keep smiling on the outside, but on the inside, I am dying. Well, at least he's not bringing home any girls.

''You're delusional.'' That was all he said. Still, I'm happy because he cared about me so much even though he keeps denying it. 

After Kai switched seats with me, I could now ride in peace without worrying about throwing up.

 

 

 

 

 

We reached there after hours of driving. It was kind of packed, but there was enough space to walk around and queue up.

''So Krystal, Sulli, what ride do you guys want to ride first?'' Suho asked.

Sulli and I grinned at each other before pointing to a roller coaster.

''Extreme speed, height, thrills. Are you sure you want to ride this?''  Tao asked us after reading the information.

We nodded eagerly. 

Since there was nothing they could do about it, they just agreed. This day will be great...as long as they don't make me go to a haunted house.

 

''Okay, let's all choose who to sit beside with.'' Kris announced. 

Suhen went with Sulli, Luhan with Xiumin...all of them paired up until I was left to go with Kai. Yay!

''Yay! Oppa let's go sit at the front!'' I dragged Kai.

Kai POV

I expected the hyungs to leave me to be partnered with Krystal, so I wasn't really that shocked. Krystal seemed so happy and dragged me to the

front of the ride. We buckled up and she grinned at me while boucing up and down.

''Isn't this exciting? ''

Before I could reply,though it wasn't like I would anyway, the ride took off.

 

 

 

 

 

''WEEEEEE!!''

 

 

 

 

''KYAAAAA!!''

 

 

 

''THIS IS SO FUN!'' Krystal shouted all the way while raising her arms.

 

 

I shook my head and just smiled. She wasn't like those girls who clings on to the guy. Hmm, this might actually be fun.

 

 

 

 

 

We rode many other rides and planned to go home until Chen said

''Let's go to the haunted house!''

Once he said that, everyone started agreeing. I looked at Krystal who suddenly went quiet.

I nudged her.

''Yah, don't tell me you're scared. You were having fun with all the extreme rides and now you're scared of a haunted house?''

''I'm..not..s...scared...'' She tried her best to sound convincing but she failed.

I glanced at her, amused. This was interesting. 

We were at the entrance,all the hyungs and Sulli had already gone in, but Krystal had to stop outside to take a deep breath.

''Can I hold on to you? Please?'' She begged me. She looked like she would cry soon so I nodded. 

She held my arm and our skin touched because we were both wearing short-sleeved shirts. I jumped at the current that passed through when she held it.

Also, my heart started to pound. Was I scared? No, I don't think so. Gaad, why does she keep making me feel weird things? 

We entered and a ghost immediately jumped out and scared her.

"GO AWAY! OMMAA!!'' She screamed a high pitched scream. Even the ghost was taken aback.

Throughout the experience, she kept on screaming and shouting. There was one time when she looked up at me and I saw tears in her eyes.

Unconsciously, I removed my arm from her grasp and put in around her. My heart started to beat faster again. Damn it, what is wrong with me?

 

 

 

 

We got through it. We came out and they were waiting for us.

''Tal Tal, why are you crying?" Sehun asked her.

Tal Tal??

Before Krystal could reply, Sehun noticed my arm that was still around Krystal.

His eyes widened and he smirked to the rest. I think I left something in there, come on, let's all go.'' he wiggled his eyebrows mischieviously.

''Except you two.''

 

 

 

 

 

''Oppa, sorry but, can you buy me water?'' She asked me. She looked so weak, I had no choice but to agree

''Okay. Stay here, don't go anywhere okay?''

She nodded.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I came back with a bottled water for Krystal, but she was nowhere to be found. My heart pounded. What if something happened to her?

I ran around the vicinity muttering ''Where are you? Don't scare me please.''  I don't know why I was so worried.

What happened was a bit blurry, but I saw Krystal at a food stall. I ran to her and shook her.

''Are you okay? Are you hurt anywhere?'' I scanned her face worriedly. After seeing that nothing was wrong, I hugged her.

 

 

 

 

''Don't scare me like that again.''

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Why did I feel that way? It couldn't be that I'm in love with her ...right?
