"Minnie-ah! I'll wait for you, i love you"

"I love you too, junhong oppa"

A tear drops down my face as were torn apart by the airports PA speaker calling us for our flight back to Mokpo. 

*End of Flashback*

The alarm clock goes off ringing in my ears. Ughh, my head.

"wake up minji! Time for school!"

"5 more minutes omma." I groan and stumble out of bed almost falling over. I quickly wash up and change into my school uniform. I run down stairs to have breakfast quickly and pack all my school stuff and dart out the door. 

"Have a great day at school darling!"

"Thanks omma i will"

I rush out onto the path and meet up with my best friends Nara, Hyori and Eun mi. 

"morning Min ji!" They chorus with a cheeky look on their faces.

"morning guys! What's with those looks..." 

"Oh nothing min ji" they say with big grins on their faces.

"yah tell me!" I plead with my biggest puppy eyes.

"........."

"........."

"JONGUP IS GOING TO GIVE YOU A PROMISE RING TODAY AFTER SCHOOL!" Eun mi blurted out. I gasped and blushed a deep cherry red while Hyori clasps her hand over Eunmi's mouth

"Yah Eunnie! It was meant to be a secret." Hyori says and smacks Eunmi's arm. 

"Miahnae.." 

"Well I guess it's not a surprise anymore.. Just act surprised then, okay?" Nara says positively and hooks her arm with mine while we walk to school together.

"Yess"

We arrive at school and are greeted by Jongup waiting by the gates. 

"Minnie-ah!" He shouts waving his hands histerically making other students give us looks. We head over and I jump in front of him and give a big smile. 

"Annyeong Jonguppie" I chime back. 

"Ohhh better leave the love birds alone" Eunnie teases while Nara and Hyori laugh. 

"Eunnie!" I pout at them.

"I'm joking, silly, but class will be starting soon so we'll see you there" 

"Neh." Nara, Hyori and Eunnie walk off giggling on the way and I wave them off. When I turn back to Jongup hes staring contently at me.

"Yah, is there something on my face?" 

"No, i was just thinki-"

*School bell rings*

"Oops, sorry Uppie I got to go to class." I started to leave before I get scolded by Mr Yang my homeroom teacher but he grabs my wrist before I could go. 

"Minnie-ah meet me in front of the school gates after school ok?!" 

"Neh Uppie, love you" 

"Love you too min ji! Have fun in class" He lets go and waves before heading off somewhere else since he doesnt attend school anymore, something about becoming a proffesional dancer.

Class after class goes by.  I got caught daydreaming several times during class but thats okay since I always do well in all my subjects. During History class I couldnt stop thinking about Jongup giving me a promise ring, so many questions running through my head. What will it look like? How surpised should i act? hmmmm. 

"Oh Min ji stop daydreaming and tell me what year North Korean attacked South Korea" My History teacher Mrs Lee questioned me. 

"1950" I said clear and calmly. 

"Good, at least your paying attention in some way" 

Phew, almost caught. She was always onto me. She suspects I cheat during tests since I do so well.

The end of school finally came and I went to meet Jongup in front of the gate. He was gently leaning on the gate staring up at the stars serene and peaceful looking as cool as ever. 

Awww my Jonguppie looks so cute! I ran off to him.

"JONGUPPIE!!"

"MY MINNIE!!" 

I jumped on him almost causing him to fall but luckily he didn't, phew.

"Haha, a bit too rough there" He chuckled and wrapped his arms around my waist.

I blushed, "Sorry Uppie" 

"Apologizes will always be accepted if it's you my minnie" He smirked. 'Anyway let's go take a walk to the park, theres something I want to give you." He put his arm around my shoulder and we walked in peace with the cool breeze and sun shining up above.
