Ellin is an actress who's only received minor or sub-plot roles throughout the past four years. Thanks to a well-received performance as a side-character in her most recent drama, she was cast as a co-lead role in 'Vanishing Points' - though her excitement soon dropped upon realising that her co-star was Cha Hakyeon, the man who so cruelly broke her heart in elementary school. Unbeknownst to he, who had forgotten entirely about the harsh words he'd spoken at age 9, Ellin had continued to hold a grudge even until they graduated high school. Although she'd avoided the dramas he'd appeared in, to throw away such an important opportunity in her career now would be self-destruction; she decides has no choice but to jut her chin and do her best... until she finds out about their characters' love line.
the drama;
'Vanishing Points' is a romantic melodrama. Alike the actors in real life, Choi Minkyung (Ellin) and Lee Kang (Cha Hakyeon) knew each other back in school, and Minkyung is surprised to see Kang as her waiter in a small cafe - she's even more surprised when he trips on his own feet and spills the coffee she's ordered. She soon realises he'd been fired from his job in the legal industry, and thus took the first job he could get to pay the bills until he sorts out what to do. The two continue to unintentionally meet, with each meeting landing the highly superstitious Minkyung in an uncomfortable situation. As a result, she begins to believe he holds a negative aura and will only bring her more bad luck.
