The next morning you were so happy that you were able to sleep in. You even got to sleep in your own bed since Aeri stayed out all night.

When you got up you noticed that she wasn’t back yet. You called her phone but all you got was her voicemail. You hoped she was okay and left her a message to call you right away. After that you got dressed and headed out to meet your favorite coffee guy.

When you reached the shop Dongwoo wasn’t at his usual spot. You frowned but decided to order anyways since you did the 10-minute walk.

“Are you sad because I didn’t take your order?” Dongwoo whispered.

You jumped and slapped his arm in defense.

“My god Dongwoo. Don’t do that!” you breathed.

“Ow!” he laughed rubbing his arm, “I won’t with a slap like that.” He grinned.

“Americano!” you heard the barista called.

You walked over and grabbed your coffee then turned back to Dongwoo.

“Lesson learned?” you smirked.

He nodded.

“Good.”

“Not working today?” he asked.

“Nope, you?”

He shook his head.

“I see.” You nodded.

“Have you eaten lunch yet? I was walking by to get some when I noticed your sad face.”

“I was not sad!” you defended.

“Okay, whatever you say.” He grinned, “So want to eat?”

“Sure. I was just going to make ramyeon anyways.”

“Don’t eat too much of that stuff. It’ll make your cheeks puffy.” He blew out his cheeks for emphasis.

You laughed and agreed.

“Where are you going to eat?” you asked.

“The mandu place down the street.” He responded.

“I love that place! They make really good kimbap.” You chimed.

“Let’s go then!” he cheered.

You laughed then Dongwoo grabbed your hand and led you to the restaurant. Your heart was pumping the whole walk while you listen to him talk about his workweek.

“How was your week?” he asked but then you noticed he was surprised.

“What’s up?” you asked.

“I just realized that I don’t even know what you do?”

“Oh. Well I guess because I only came in for about 5 minutes so we don’t talk much.” You shrugged.

“I’ve known you for how long though!” he shook his head, “Nope this isn’t good. We’re going to spend the afternoon together and we’re going to become even better friends.” He sounded determined.

You thought about it but realized that this was what you always wanted to so you said, “Okay, deal!” and laughed.

After lunch the both of you headed to the local shopping district and grabbed dessert to walk around with and window shop.

“I think we need to go to Karaoke.” Dongwoo stated.

“What?” you were surprised.

“You said you were a vocal trainer. So you must sing well.”

“But I’m looking through these bags.” You told him.

“After that we’ll go.”

“Okay but I haven’t learned a lot about you.” You really didn’t want to sing.

“Aww come on!” he whined, “I really really really want to hear you sing!”

You laughed and continued to search through the bags.

“So how long have you worked at the coffee shop.” You tried to change the topic.

“3 years. Now let’s go sing!” he jumped.

You glanced at your phone and noticed you had 5 missed calls from your cousin.

“Just wait.” You waved your phone at him then walked outside.

You dialed Aeri’s number and waited for her to pick up. A few seconds later and she did.

“JAENI!” she screamed.

You winced from her high pitch voice but were relieved that she was okay.

“What happened to you?” You inquired.

“I got back this afternoon. The party was insane! And I met the perfect guy!” she squealed.

She did it.

“No! You did not!” you laughed.

“Yep! And he’s an idol! She giggled.

“I can’t believe you did it.”

“And he’s incredibly hot! I have a photo so I’ll text it to you!”

“Okay then.” You agreed.

“Where are you anyways?” she asked.

“I’m out with a friend.” You answered, “So I’ll be back soon.”

You hung up then turned around just as Dongwoo walked out. He grinned his amazing grin making you grin as well.

“Shall we then?”

“I’m sorry Dongwoo. I just realized the time and I have to get back home. The walls aren’t going to paint themselves.” You laughed.

“Ah right the renovations.” He nodded, “Do you need help? I can be quite the handy man.”

He wiggled his eyebrows, which in turn made you laugh.

“Alright if you have the time.” You shrugged, “Follow me.”

A couple of hours later and you finished the rest of the kitchen.

“Yay! We finished!” you clapped.

“Finally.” Dongwoo wiped his brow and sat down.

He didn’t notice but he ended up getting paint on his forehead. You threw him bottled water and noticed the paint. It almost made you spit out your water.

“You got paint on you.” You said and pointed to his head.

He touched his cheek and when there was no paint on his hand he touched the other side.

“Where?” he finally asked.

“On your forehead.” You laughed and threw him a towel.

He chuckled and wiped the paint off.

“I don’t think eggshell is your color.” You giggled.

“I’m glad. I finally know now.” He threw the towel back at you.

“Thank you for helping. This would have taken at least another day.” You grinned.

“No problem. If you need any more help just let me know.” He took out his phone, “Here give me your number.”

You nervously took his phone and punched in your number. You held back your girlish laugh when you gave it back to him.

“I’ll call you right now so you can have my number.”

A second later your phone started ringing.

“Call me okay?” he asked getting up.

You could only nod while walking him to the door.

“See you next time.” He grinned.

“See ya!” you waved.

You started cleaning up when Aeri walked out from the bedroom. She was asleep when you got in.

“Hey.” She yawned, “Who was here?”

“Dongwoo.” You smiled.

“Oh I see.” She grinned.

“Don’t. We’re just friends.” You nodded.

“Whatever you say.”

You rolled your eyes and continued cleaning.

“So how was your night?” You asked.

“Oh right! Did you get my text? I sent the photo!” she squeaked.

You shook your head amused at your cousin.

“Here he is! I still can’t believe it.” She giggled.

You opened the message and your jaw dropped immediately.

“GD! You met GD!!” you screamed.

“I know!” she cheered.

You couldn’t believe it. She met Kwon Jiyong. She actually did it. You stared at her phone trying to make sense of it all.

“How?” you blurted out.

“I was just walking around the room and we bumped into each other. We started talking and next thing I know we’re making plans to meet up in the near future.” She beamed.

“Incredible.” You laughed.

You thought to tell her that you met Seunghyun but something was holding you back. You looked at your cousin and she was so happy. She was literally bouncing around.

“So when is the near future?” you asked.

She shrugged while eating a bowl of cereal.

“Not sure. He has my number so it’s up to him.” She nodded, “I’m going to take a shower.” She threw her bowl in the sink and walked into the bedroom.

You continued to look at the photo. You still couldn’t believe it.

~~

“Alright, Youngsoo are you ready?” you stretched your fingers.

He nodded and opened his songbook…

“That was really great.” You said after he finished.

“Really?” he beamed.

You nodded and closed the piano cover.

“You’ve been practicing.” You guessed.

He rubbed his head embarrassed but nodded.

“Every night.” He grinned.

“Great. Keep it up. Okay?” you pointed at him.

He agreed and left the room.
