He took a short pause and held Sehun's jaws and nose and then... Sehun coughed the water out due to the boy's weight on his chest. It was gently squirted to the hero's face, making him scrunch his nose up and squeeze his eyes shut. Sehun was likewise. The puppy continued coughing and the other boy backed away already, distancing his face from the other's face. Kyungsoo came in rushing that he almost slipped.

     "What happened?!" Kyungsoo asked, almost going nuts.

     "I heard him calling for help while I was walking on the hallways outside the pool area. I hurried in and saw him almost drowning. I conclude, he suffered muscle cramps. Anyway, he's safe now," replied by the one being asked, looking at the continuously coughing brunette.

     "I gotta go," he added in a low volume of voice and turned back.

    "Wait! Uhh... Thank you very much!" were the words Kyungsoo spoke out and bowed 90°. The hero  just smiled and left.

     Sehun regained consciousness and hugged Kyungsoo the moment he saw him. The short black-haired boy escorted the younger to the clinic even though Sehun didn't want to. The more the brunette resisted, the more the owl-eyed insisted and dragged him to the clinic.

     At the clinic, Sehun was just checked up and was asked by some questions. In the end, he's just advised to go home and take a rest. Sehun was assisted by Kyungsoo in changing to his uniform. The eyeliner guy, Baekhyun, was also informed by the concerned owl and there, the said guy was panting after running to the clinic. He's in great panic because of Kyungsoo's message.

     Baekhyun and Kyungsoo escorted the white boy to his home. The three of them we're silent during their walk towards Sehun's house. They arrived there after 1/4 to 1/3 of an hour. No one's in there as usual so the two stayed for a while, looking out for their maknae.

     "Baek-hyung, Dyo-hyung, thanks for walking me home. And thanks for staying. I'm very grateful I have friends like you," Sehun thanked.

     "It's nothing, Sehun-ah. We're your hyungs," Baekhyun replied and D.O. nodded.

     "Thanks for saving my life Dyo-hyung. I thought, it's my end already. I owe you my life," he thanked with a cracked voice.

     "Oh. No, no. It's not me who pulled you out of the water and attempted to perform mouth to mouth," the owl-eyed clarified.

     "Huh!? Then, who?" Curiously, the maknae asked.

     "It's... U-uhhh... Shocks. I forgot to ask his name," Kyungsoo facepalmed with hate for himself.

     "Guys, excuse me for a moment, I'll just call Kai," the eyeliner boy excused and went downstairs after the two nodded.

     "Re-really? Then who's my hero? How does he look like?"

     "Wait. I'll try to remember."

     "You forgot, hyung? Don't say you do."

     "Yah! I was in panic, you know that? I almost went nuts."

     Sehun laughed to his hyung's adorable way of complaining. "Okay. I'm just kidding. Take your time remembering."

     "Err...." was the only word Kyungsoo muttered as he tried to recall.

     Not too long and Kyungsoo received a message from his mom that he needed to go home already. He surely didn't notice that it's already dark outside. Likewise to Baekhyun, he's also missing & wanted in their house. The two bade goodbye after asking for words of permission. Kyungsoo assured to Sehun that he would text him if ever he already remembered how the white puppy's 'hero' looked like while Baekhyun assured him that Kai would be coming & spending the night on Oh's residence.

     Sehun somehow became happy knowing Kai would be coming. That could be the time that they could talk sincerely. Sehun offered to accompany the two but both of them refused. He could no longer argue so he accepted his defeat.

     Kyungsoo went down first and he was talking to Baekhyun who was behind him. He opened the door after ghosting for the door knob, still looking and talking to the guy behind him. When he's about to step out of the house, he bumped someone.

     "I-I'm sorry. It's my fault. I'm not looking," Kyungsoo apologized. The other just stared at him and blinked.

     "Oh, hi. Wow. That was fast, Kai," Baekhyun greeted him.

     "My house was just a few blocks away from here, remember?" And the older just nodded.

     "By the way, where's white puppy?" He asked the eldest among them.

     "Upstairs. Inside his room," replied by the one being asked.

     "Okay. I'll be heading there. Thanks," the tan-skinned told them.

     "Okay. Take care of him, okay? We're leaving. Goodbye," the boy with eyeliner bade and left with Kyungsoo.

     "Bye, Kai," Kyungsoo also bade. The other just looked back with puffy cheeks and smiled a little. He then closed the door and his faint footsteps heading upstairs was heard by the two on the porch.

     "I don't know what's wrong. Is it just me or Kai doesn't like me as a friend?" Kyungsoo asked curiously.

     "Nah. Don't worry about it. He's just acting weird lately. We all don't know but I got a feeling that it will be fixed sooner or later."

     "What a good feeling that is. I hope it'll come true," Dyo commented and Baek just smiled.

     "Hey."

     "Oh, Kim Jongin. Did you meet the two along the way?"

     "Yeah."

     "Is it true that you'll be sleeping here?"

     "Yes."

     "Did Suho-hyung know what happened to me?"

     "Yup."

     "Was he worried?"

     "Yep."

     "Is there any explanation why you answer me monosyllabic words?"

     "Think so."

     "Phew... What's your prob? Tell me, I'm worried," but Sehun just received silence.

     "I wanna know. Please," he pleaded & absent-mindedly did an aegyo.

     "You really wanna know?"

     "Really bad."

     "Okay," he uttered and sighed. "I don't know but I'm kinda jealous."

     "Jealous?!"

     "Wait. Lemme finish, okay?"

     "Fine. Go ahead."

     "There are two reasons. First, Kyungsoo seems like he's taking over my place as your closest friend," Kai stated and Sehun's eyebrows had a cockfight.

     "You hate him then?"

     "I told you to let me finish, remember? Well, no. Not at all. In fact, the second reason is... I-I-I just don't know but I'm really jealous with you. Maybe because you're too close with each other, too close...with my longtime crush..."

     Sehun cocked his head to the side with wrinkled forehead. It took him time to process what he heard.

     "I'm sorry, come again, please?"

     Kai sighed. "Kyungsoo is my longtime crush, Sehun."

     He loudly gasped with what he heard for the second time. "Y-you have a crush on D-Dyo-hyung?" He asked stuttering.

     "It's kinda embarrassing and irritating but... yes. He stole my heart a long time ago," Kai said with a blush.

     Sehun stared at him for a long while and he suddenly bursted out into wild laughing. Because first, he found his bestfriend very funny with the confession. Second, he never thought that he would see what he could never imagine. The blush on the tan-skinned. But at least, they became friends again.

     "What's so funny?" Kai asked, a bit annoyed. Sehun then told him.

     They talked more about Kyungsoo and Kai. Sehun found out that Kai was admiring Kyungsoo from afar since last two years. Kai didn't know what to do when he just found his crush sitting on their table and being that close to Sehun. Kai knew that Kyungsoo was bullied always but he never had the heart to help him. He's just a big coward and he knew he really was and he hated himself because of that. Amidst the talking, Sehun's phone beeped.

     "Speaking of your angel, he sent a message," Sehun teased Jongin.

     "Read it aloud, please."

     "Good evening, Sehun-ah. I already remembered. He has a blonde hair, height taller than mine and doe-like eyes. Overall, he looks like a girl. At first I have mistaken him but I realized he's a boy when I saw no bulge in his chest," Sehun read the message.

     "And your hero was Mr. Blondie, eh?" Kai took the turn to tease.

     "You're kidding, right?"

     "Why should I? Is there anyone that comes into your mind aside from him?"

     "Oh. Bedsheets..." Kai laughed to Sehun's reaction.

     "Chanyeol-hyung was right. He's your angel." And a pillow hit Kai's face.

     After some rounds of pillow fights, the two decided to order pizza. They're watching TV while waiting. Sehun was made to promise to keep Kai's surprising revelation a secret just between them two. He gladly accepted and told his dear friend that he could maybe help them become closer. Well. He's not against Kai's homouality and he still remained as Kai's supporting bestfriend. Kai thanked him and it's his turn to return the favor.

     He advised Sehun to apologize & befriend that deer boy, his bestfriend's unexpected hero. Kai said that he would help if he could and Sehun somewhat became happy about it. He realized, maybe it's the time for him to end their dispute.

     After the pizza was delivered, they immediately dug in until only the box remained. They brushed their teeth, took turns in the shower and got changed. Sehun's bed was just enough for the two of them to fit in so they drifted there together off to sleep after some time of bonding.

     The following day, Sehun was a bit nervous. Lunch time came and the more nervous he became. As what Kai told him, he brought courage and some special things with him. There at the rooftop, he found the deer boy.

     "Hey, deer boy," he called the attention of the boy who was near the balcony, leaning his arms on the railings while gazing at the view below.

     "If you'll just annoy me with the pestering fact that I'm careless when crossing the roads and I tried to perform mouth to mouth, just leave already. I'm not in the mood for a quarrel. Just never think I tried to steal something from the moment I resuscitated you," he said continuously without averting his eyes from the view but with a cracked voice as if he just cried.

     Sehun went beside Mr. Blondie and spoke after collecting courage. "N-no. I'm not here for a fight. I'm here to thank you and to apologize as well." Then the boy snapped his head towards Sehun's direction. The latter just nervously smiled.

Phew.... I'm somehow depressed lately. Because people said that my favorite ship is sinking. I don't know why I'm affected so much but it just hurts me. But no matter what, I'm still a Hunhan shipper. Hmph!
