Tenten & Junjun

Don't Go...

           "Tenten..."

Suho knew who it was for he only knew one guy that could do it to him as a mere prank. He turned around and saw a guy leaning on the wall of the school with arms crossed. The wet boy was kinda amazed for some certain reason but at the same time, shocked.

"His voice, still golden. His ears, still cute. His smile, still radiant. His cheekbones, still high. And his everything makes him still him," Joonmyeon thought as he carefully examined the boy who threw the water balloon.

The boy smirked and lifted his weight from the wall. He dropped his hands to his sides and took few steps forward. The boy then opened his arms widely as if he's inviting Suho to hug him.

"Did you miss me, Junjun?" The boy spoke, referring to Suho.

"What are you doing here? You're supposed to be in China, aren't you?" He replied with a knife-like tone, stopping Sehun & Kai from reacting.

"Awww... Is that how you greet your childhood bestfriend who's gone for six years?" The guy called as Tenten responded, trying to sound pitiful.

"You left with no warning and now you came back likewise. Is that how you treat your childhood bestfriend who stayed with you for eight years? Tell me, Jongdae. Tell me," Joonmyeon mimicked him and the knife was coated with acid.

"Of course not. My return is supposed to be a surprise but it seems you aren't surprised. Isn't it surprising? Isn't it amazing? Isn't it?" Jongdae replied but the latter sentences seemed like some sort of mockery.

Joonmyeon just scoffed, "Huh! Surprise? Surprise my ."

"Oh sure. Do you want it sweet and smooth or raw and rough?" Suho got wider eyes with a slight blush but then returned to normal state and just looked down.

"Still the troll you always are..." The short boy murmured. The knife and the acid disappeared for it wasn't Joonmyeon who uttered those words but instead, Junjun. It's the kid inside Joonmyeon who's very attached with Tenten 14 to 8 years ago.

"Sehun & Kai, let's go," Joonmyeon returned, as well as the knife & acid.

The two had no other choice but to obey like obedient kids they must be. They just nodded slowly like they're still processing what Suho said to them. After few steps, Suho felt a grab on his left hand.

"You're not going home or anywhere. We need to talk."

As soon as his eyes met Suho's, Jongdae spoke with the cocky and troll tone worn off. The other just made his eyes travel forth to their hands and back to Jongdae's eyes for a couple of times.

"We don't have anything to talk about." Suho abruptly pulled his hand away. "I'm sorry, Jongdae, but there are just people who would still leave even though you asked them to stay... I'm sure, you have already learnt that since the last six years," and the knife coated with acid pierced through Jongdae.

"Let's go. The wind blows over my wet back. I need to change before I catch a cold," Suho blankly said with a hint of bitterness and then walked away with the two. Jongdae was just left standing there dumbfounded, and at the same time, hurt.

"You're an idiot, Jongdae..." He whispered to himself while looking down at the wet ground and scattered rubber from the watter ballon.

---

"Are you okay, hyung?" The tan-skinned asked him.

           "Yeah."

"Are you sure?" The white puppy wanted to verify.

          "Yep."

The two younger boys looked at each other and as if they read each other's mind like cool telepaths, they both asked simultaneously, "How many percent?" Then Suho stopped walking.

"Please... I told you I'm okay. Maybe not 100% but at least, I know I'm okay. Let's just not talk about it and just give me my space. Maybe in that way, I'll eventually achieve the 'Okay Percentage' you want me to have."

"We're sorry, hyung..." The two apologetically spoke.

     "It's okay. This is life."

"Okay, hyung. Well, uhh... I'll be turning to the left now. Luhan-hyung texted me to meet him at the bubble tea shop. Suho-hyung, things with the Baekyeol couple and that Jongdae guy will be okay. Maybe not now but at least, it will be okay soon. Remember that we're always there for you, okay?" the youngest addressed to Suho.

"Thanks, Sehun-ah. I'll look forward to it," Suho seemed sincere.

"No prob. I'll be going, hyung. Take care and goodbye," Sehun bade with his eye smiles.

"Same to you, brat!" Kai waved goodbye. Sehun just looked back and rolled his eyes. Few more steps and the Kim brothers were out of Sehun's sight.

In a matter of minutes, Sehun arrived at the said shop. As he entered and craned his neck in search of Luhan, his phone beeped. He opened the message and it read, "I'm on the table nearest the glass window. The table where we had a short bickering before. You'll treat me seven more bubble teas if you can't sit beside me in a matter of five seconds. Good luck and make sure you won't spill someone's bubble tea."

Sehun lifted his head and looked at the direction of the table. There, he saw Luhan raising his right arm and already counting one silently. Adrenaline hit Sehun hard and on the third count, he already closed the distance between him and the deer boy.

"Whoa... You're so fast. It's just a prank," Luhan said, giggling at Sehun.

"Aish... You tricked me, hyung..." Sehun complained childishly and gave the older his adorable pout.

"Not my fault if you let yourself be tricked by that. How will I consume seven more bubble teas?" He replied with chuckles. "Don't worry, you're still cute," he continued while ruffling the younger's locks. The pout vanished and was replaced by an upward curve.

They moved on to their business after some moments. Sehun didn't bother to transfer seats. They talked about their plan and it seemed everything's going according to the plan. Along the discussions, the younger caught sight of Luhan's wrist. There, the wristband he gave to Luhan was worn. He also spotted the deer keychain on the boy's bag. Sehun felt very happy with it but he remembered something with the wristband. It was blank so he asked the deer boy to borrow it this weekend and return it on Monday. The other just agreed without any questions.

---

"Hyung... If you need someone to talk to, I'm just here. I'll be listening whatever it is."

"Thanks, Kai. Maybe next time," Suho replied and forced to paint himself a smile.

The walk home remained silent until Ryeowook met them halfway on their porch with a loud happy greeting. He introduced his new friend, Yesung. He said that Yesung was a new neighbor living on a vacant house few blocks away from them. Joonmyeon's eyes widened as he remembered that the only vacant house around their area was the abandoned house where Jongdae used to live. When Yesung introduced himself, Joonmyeon was taken aback by the name.

"Kim Jongwoon..." He replayed pn his mind until he remembered. He looked closely at Yesung and mentally slapped himself for not recognizing him immediately. Kim Jongwoon was the name of Jongdae's younger brother who didn't want to go out of their house even at the age of six. He knew him for he'd been inside Jongdae's house just to play or hangout before for countless times already. He still could recall how Jongwoon locks himself inside his room everytime there are new people in their house. And he still could recall that that tendency of Jongwoon's was because of the mixture of his shyness & fear of socializing. Those two hindrances were the reasons why Yesung & Ryeowook never had the chance to meet before. Well, Suho's a bit glad that after six years,  Yesung managed to overcome it. He could say that Yesung and Ryeowook were getting along too well with each other.

That gladness was short-lived for he figured out something. Jongdae was back and so do Jongwoon. Ryeowook said that Jongwoon lived on a vacant house few blocks away from them in which he concluded to be abandoned house Jongdae used to live. Together, those things could mean that Jongdae and his family were back at their old house, staying for good. And that meaning seemed haunt Suho. After all the pain he'd been through for years, he couldn't take to have Jongdae near or close to him again.

"Nice to meet you, Yesung," Kai said and ruffled the boy's locks.

"Jongwoon, nice to meet you...again," Suho greeted him and just silently whispered the last word. Yesung just smiled at him and Suho was kinda happy about it. That's because Yesung seemed like he didn't remember him.

"Wookie, let's go inside with Yesung," Jongin offered.

"No, hyung. Actually, we're here on the porch because we're waiting for you," Ryeowook replied and looked at Yesung, exchanging warm smiles that meant something.

"Huh? Why? I thought you're doing something important here."

"No, we're not. We're here because we wanted to eat ice cream. Umma said that you two must be the ones who'll treat us," he said with eyes sparkling & cutely blinking.

Joonmyeon looked at Jongin and the latter just shrugged. He fished out his wallet and gave more-than-enough amount of money.

"Just accompany the two, Kai. I'll be staying here. I need to get changed. Buy me Krunky instead of ice cream."

"Okay, hyung. Kindly bring my bag to my room."

Joonmyeon went inside with Kai's knapsack right after Yesung & his brothers headed out to either the nearest ice cream parlor or any convenience store with ice cream. Before he went inside his room, he first stopped by Kai's and placed the boy's bag on the floor near the bed and the mini drawer. He then exited with a heavy sigh and made his way towards his own room. He locked the door & got changed. As soon as he saw a picture of the six-year old him on a  picture frame beside the lampshade, he paused and the radiance on his face slowly died out.

The photo displayed a very cheerful him in early childhood. One edge of the picture wasn't straight for it was torn. It looked like his image was just half of the original picture. He remembered the story behind it again, feeling crestfallen of how depressing those old days were. He grabbed the small picture frame and held it up high. A part of him was telling him to throw it because he should. But another part of him was opposing it because he couldn't.

"Tearing apart and discarding Jongdae's side in the picture is enough," he tried to convince himself.

He just weakly threw the frame to his bed and it just bounced. He entered the bathroom with a heavy heart. Suho looked at his reflection and he saw glittering tears stranded on his eyes. With abrupt actions, he the faucet and vigorously washed his face. When he felt like it's enough, he looked at his reflection on the mirror again.

"That's it, Joonmyeon. Don't let him affect you once again. No more tears for him. No more..." Joonmyeon talked to his reflection and then dried his face with a towel hanging at the back of the door.

---

He's just lying on his bed &staring blankly at the ceiling when Jongin knocked on his locked door. Suho concluded that the three were back already.

"Hyung, here are your Krunkies. I bought you two."

Joonmyeon tried to clear his throat by saying "ah" but he made efforts to make the quick process inaudible. He wanted to make sure that his voice wouldn't sound cracked or hoarse. shunning himself from the suspicion Kai might arrived to.

"Thanks. Just leave it there. I'm changing my clothes here," he flawlessly lied.

"Sure thing, hyung. I'll just also leave the change from your money. I'll be downstairs with Ryeowook & Yesung." Suho didn't respond so he just left.

Suho heard footsteps in decrescendo. The short boy then pushed himself out of the bed and straddled towards the door to get the sweet treats. He returned to his comfortable bed and tried everything to escape from the chains & yokes of boredom and loneliness brought to him by the confines of his own room and his own sentiments. He's being like that because of a childhood bestfriend of his whom he's treating like an idiot... A big one.

His umma was knocking hardly on the door of his placid room. Suho woke up to the bangs that were produced by impatient knuckles hitting the wooden surface repeatedly in succession. He just realized that he fell asleep and that the daylight already took its leave.

"Joonmyeon, time for dinner!" His umma exclaimed in a nice manner.

"I'll just follow, umma," he exclaimed back with equal volume as he combed his hair.

He went downstairs & was surprised to see Jongwoon still in their residence, comfortably seated on one of the chairs in their dining area. Ryeowook greeted him and explaines that their umma invited Yesung for a dinner and didn't accept no as an answer. Shortly after Suho took his seat, their doorbell created a sound that slightly echoed around their house, indicating that someone's outside. Suho was tasked by his father to open and he quite lazily obeyed. He opened the door without reluctance.

"Hello," he greeted with a yawn, not seeing the person yet.

     "Junjun..."

[A/N: whooo! I finally updated! I'm very sorry if it took me so long. It's due to the changes.

So, here's the chapter full of SuChen. I even forgot that there's no Hunhan moments so I just inserted the cheesy(?) bubble tea shop scene. Phew! How I badly wanted to make it just SuChen! But I must make it SuLay and XiuChen.=[

For Suho-biased fans & Chen-biased fans, I'm sorry for hurting your biases in this chapter. I can't assure you that the hurting stops here.=[ It's hard for me to hurt them, too, you know? But this story needs drama and angst factors. I hope you understand.

And well, 8 out of 12 members introduced. Four more to go and I'm still thinking of their grand entrance!XD

I'm sorry fo any errors & mistakes. I'm not sure if it's Krunky or Crunky. You know, the chocolate they advertised? I'm sorry if I'm wrong. Oh well. Also, please, remember to continue reading and supporting. Comment even your feels, .=] Thanks!

And guys, I won't be able to update this week or next. I'll be publishing a Hunhan oneshot this coming April 16 (lol. 12+20 = 32. 32÷2=16. My own Hunhan day!XD). And.... Also i'm working on my poem story which is Baek(taoris)yeol. Then after i finished the two, i'll update and publish the first book of my story collection entitled "Boyfriend Project". The first pair would be Baekyeol and it's entitled "Boyfriend Project: Dare & Date". Next is Sulay which is entitled "Boyfriend Project: Philter Magic". It has 6 pairs (OTP, you know it). I hope you'll read and support it, too.

Well, this author's note is taking so long. If you wanna PM me, just feel free. I'm open for converstaions and looking for friends=] So, goodbye for now. I'll just make more Hunhan moments on the next chap!=] Thanks, guys! XOXO! 'til next we meet. HAPPY 2ND ANNIVERSARY TO EXO, by the way.=]]
