"Phew... C-can I... Huff..."

     "Can you... what? C'mon. Don't hesitate."

     He took a deep breath and gathered courage.

     "Okay. Phew... Can I... call you 'hyung'?" And the older just bursted into a wild laughter after five seconds of awkward staring.

     "Hahahaha! I thought it's really something big or heavy to ask. Hahahaha! Of course. Actually, you should. Hahahaha!" Sehun just looked at him with bewilderment.

     "Okay. Laugh harder," he said with his newly returned pokerface.

     "Oh. H-heh... I'm sorry. Just carried away."

     "Phew... What I mean is, like a foster biological hyung. Like you'll take care of me as your younger brother," Sehun explained, making Luhan's eyes widen a bit.

      "I... never thought that the cold pokerface can be this childish."

     "Tsk. Just tell me if you don't want to. I can look for other hyungs," Sehun said and made Luhan think, "Yeah. Really childish."

     "No. Not like that. I'm just...flabbergasted? This event was some sort of a miracle. A thing expected not to happen but it did."

     "..." And silence echoed from Sehun.

     "Oi. Sehun..."

     "..."

     "I won't treat you bubble tea next time if you won't look at me and talk to me."

     "I don't care. I can buy them on my own."

     "Oi. Oh Sehun..."

     "..."

     "Okay. Don't sulk. Your big bro is here, my 'lil bro," and he beamed a smile which moved Sehun's steady heart, making him break the emptiness on the younger's face.

     "T-thanks, hyung." Sehun managed to smile.

     "You're always welcome, Sehun-ah," and the two flashed their smiles. to each other. "I know that you want someone to take care of you since you're deprived from your parents' care," Luhan added. "We're just the same. But since you're younger, I must be the one taking care of you and looking out for you."

     "You really know what I feel. Don't worry, Luhan-hyung. I promise, I'll take good care of you, too. If our parents cannot give it, well, we'll be giving it to each other." White puppy smiled again.

    "Yeah. You must take care of me," and Luhan earned a raised eyebrow from the younger. "I'm just joking. Thank you, Sehun-ah," he continued with chuckles.

     "You're welcome, Luhan-hyung."

     "So? Won't you hug your hyung?" The older asked with arms opened wide. Sehun's radiance intensified as he stood & smiled to hug his hyung. The moment was short but it felt long to Sehun. He admired the warmth and scent of his hyung.

    The two went back to their seats and continued to talk before people shoot them awkward stares. Luhan's driver and at the same time, bodyguard, came to the place after about an hour of talking. Luhan invited Sehun to come with them. The latter couldn't refuse nor find an excuse so he just went. Luhan knew that it's just their first day of being officially friends but still wanted to invite Sehun with them.

     In no time, they reached the said place. The house was big but not too big. It's just too big, considering that only one person stays there since the driver & caretaker stay next door. That setup was because of Luhan's father's strict order to them. But sometimes, the son disobeys him.

     The two friends were bored so they decided to play video games. Luhan told Sehun that playing video games was more fun if it's played with a company. They were yelling with fun and laughing at the one who lost the game.

     They hadn't noticed that it's dark outside already until the housemaid/caretaker called them for dinner. Luhan convinced him to have dinner with them and since dinner was served, the younger had no choice but to eat with them. White puppy was too much satiated and same to Luhan. It's because of the luscious and hearty meal. Dinner was over and Sehun suggested that he should go home already. He's worried that his parents might scold at him. The deer boy understood him and just agreed although he wanted the boy to stay longer for few more rounds of video games. The older offered him a ride home and the younger failed to resist the convincing powers of his hyung.

     They got into the car. Both of them were feeling kinda tired. Sehun noticed that Luhan already drifted off to sleep. He remembered his promise earlier that day and smiled. He gently rested his hyung's head on his shoulders and he could smell the sweet-scented locks of his hyung. They stayed in that position and in no time, he also drifted off to sleep, resting his cheek on Luhan's head.

     The next thing was Sehun waking up on Luhan's shoulder with the car parking in front of their house. He looked groggy and bewildered. It was explained by the older that he woke up and laid Sehun's head on his shoulder.

     They got off the car and bade goodbye to each other. After few waves, the car was no longer in front of Oh's residence. Sehun came into their house with his parents sleeping too early. He felt kinda relieved and headed to his own room to get changed. Sehun took a refreshing shower and there he realized that he hadn't told his address yet they managed to reach their destination.

     "Maybe Luhan-hyung knows?" He asked in his thoughts.

     The next day, Sehun woke up a bit late, around five minutes before seven. He got off his bed and rushed to his bathroom to have a quick shower. Normally, he takes around five minutes in the shower but this time, it's only three. He really did it quickly. Afterwhich, he changed into his uniform and jogged downstairs. He was surprised to see his parents calmly having a coffee already.

     "Good morning, Sehun. I see, you woke up late. Have your breakfast already," Mrs.Oh acknowledged his presence and the son did what he's told so.

     "Hmmm.... How's school, son?" Mr. Oh asked randomly.

     "Just good. As always," he thriftily replied.

     "Good to hear that. By the way, our company is publishing our books so maybe after two weeks, our books are out already," Mr. Oh informed.

     "Nice. I'm happy to hear that," he said and pulled his lips into an upward curve. He knew that his parents wouldn't be as busy as they were the past few weeks.

     "If you're not busy, you may come to our booksigning event. I'll just tell you if the date is already final," Mrs. Oh invited him.

     It's 7:11 AM and Sehun was set. He bade goodbye to his parents and left. His pace was a bit faster and with that, he managed to come to school not late. And as always, morning classes just went fine to Sehun and Kai. His day would be boring if not because of his friends and the lunch break.

     History class ended and white puppy went with Kai to look for Kyungsoo. It's apparent that Sehun was helping Kai out already as what they had dealt. Kyungsoo was on his way to Sehun's room but halfway of his walk, he met Sehun already, together with Kai. The owl-eyed just looked more cute and squishy with his shocked expression.

     "Dyo-hyung. Good thing that we found you here. We're about to fetch you in your room," the youngest talked.

     "Ah. I'm actually on my way to your room to fetch you also," Dyo replied.

     "Oh. Well, let's go then?" White puppy asked and took hold of Kai's left shoulder.

     "Okay," the eldest among the three responded and walked behind the two younger.

     "I think, this is your time, Kai. I'll leave you two. Be sure to talk to him or else you'll kill yourself due to regrets," Sehun whispered.

     "But-"

     "No buts, Kai. You mustn't chicken out for the one you love," Sehun cut what Kai's about to say. They turned around to Kyungsoo with Kai looking down.

     "Uhmm... Hyung? I think, I need to go to the toilet first. Just go ahead with Jongin," Sehun put up an act. The y-bronze-skinned was about to protest but  was stopped by Sehun's grip on his shoulder which dramatically tightened.

     "W-will you be okay going alone?" The owl-eyed shortie said his query with a bit of stammering. The youngest sensed that the eldest was starting to feel uncomfortable.

     "Oh. Of course, hyung. How about you? Will you be okay with Jongin?"

     "I..." Kyungsoo trailed off. The grip on Kai's shoulder tightened a little bit more, signalling the y-bronzed-skinned to speak.

     "Don't worry. I won't eat you up...for now. Maybe soon," Kai finally spoke. He didn't know where he picked up the sudden y courage but he thought that it's better than nothing. The younger two chuckled after seeing how Kyungsoo's eyes almost popped out of its sockets and Jongin found it really charming and amusing.

     "I'm just joking, hyung. Well, let's go?"

     "I g-guess so..." Kyungsoo said in a low volume.

     "So, I suppose, we need to separate ways already. Bye, hyung. See you later," Sehun supposed.

      "Okay. Take care, Sehun-ah," and they departed in different directions.

     Sehun turned back and yelled, "Hyung! I forgot something!" Kyungsoo turned around and cocked his head slightly to the side with an eyebrow raised.

     "Report it to me if that charcoal over there attempts to put you in his mouth like cheese, smell your scent, enjoy your color and eat you more elegantly than drinking wine."

     "Yah! Oh Sehun! Come back here!  I'm not like that!" Kai was about to chase after Sehun but the latter already ran with an evil grin. The shorter had his eyes widened again.

     "Don't mind that kid. Let's go?" The older nodded and walked with Kai beside him.

     Sehun's little plan earned a progress. Somehow, the awkwardness and hesitation between the two was lessened. Their random conversations along the way caused it. Sehun was just grinning when he arrived at their table. The tan-skinned, on the other hand, was just shooting daggers to him. White puppy just then acted like he didn't mind and started to dig into his lunch.

     They were talking and such and Sehun noticed something. His Suho-hyung wasn't looking like fine. He decided to do something about it for he thought, the lively atmosphere is useless if there's still someone who wasn't in a good mood.

     "Joonmyeon-hyung? Are you okay?"

     Suho was about to deliver a spoonful of soup to his mouth when Sehun asked him. He unexpectedly froze in his place, looked pale and soon dropped the spoon to his lap. It caught his friends attention.

     "Ahh... I'm sorry. Excuse me for a while," he said as he stood up and then went to the toilet. Chanyeol also stood up and followed the short boy.

     Sehun, being naive, asked Kai, "Hmmm... Did Suho-hyung confess to Yeol-hyung already? Are they already a couple ? 'Cause they kinda act and look like one."

     It was a whisper but it was audible enough to let the one beside him, which happened to be Baekhyun, hear it. Kai was too focused on Kyungsoo's worried expression and failed to carefully listen to the one who's whispering. He just absent-mindedly nodded and Baekhyun's eyes widened at the sight of it.

     "Hyung? Are you fine? What happened to you?" Chanyeol asked as soon as he saw Suho wiping the wet portion on his pants. The older turned back at him with a frown.

     "I don't know, Yeol. I know that Sehun is my former crush but I don't know why I'm still affected like this..Double the jeopardy when my younger brother seems to take my current crush away from me. I can feel that Jongin has feelings for Kyungsoo, Yeol. It's not just a crush but more," Suho sadly voiced out the explanation to Chanyeol while washing his hands. "And I don't want to compete with my brother," Suho added, earning a raised eyebrow from the giant.

     "What do you mean? You're giving up?"

     "Exactly. I have to let go now before I fall deeper for Kyungsoo and acquire more pain. I know, it will hurt but not as much as it will when I'm totally head over heels with him. Besides, I think that I'm used to it. The field of love... It will never be painless..."

     "Hyung... Maybe you're feeling like that because you're about to love someone who's supposed to be a friend only. I now agree that you better give it up. You're really a good hyung, hyung,"  Chanyeol spoke as he held out his hands and placed it on Suho's shoulder.

     "I have to be, Yeol," Suho responded and urged himself to smile. "Well, we better go back before they suspect us of doing something. We're taking a long time already. Your Baekhyun may get... you know."

     "Yeah. We better do," he replied and smiled cheekily.

     "Uhmmm... Wait, Chanyeol," he spoke as he turned back to the tall guy.

     "Yep?"

     "Thanks for being there. I owe you one."

     "That's what friends are for. Don't worry, everything will be fine soon. I'm just here whenever you need me," and he initiated a hug and the other snuggled closer.

     They hadn't heard the toilet door open but they heard it close as it created some sort of gentle slam. The newcomer caught Yeol's attention and he spoke in a low volume.

     "Baek..."

[A/N: gyaaah!!!!??? done at last! I'm very sorry for not updating for a while. It's been weeks since the last update. I'm so sorry. Busy in school. Plus I published a Baekyeol FF as a Valentine's special. And plus I got into an accident last Wednesday. I was hit by a bike and followed up by a tricycle. Yeah. So funny. It's like a joke but it's true. My left hand and wounds hurt a lot and I couldn't concentrate. I hope you understand my situation.

But however, I decided to make this chapter longer. Not to mention that I took time rewriting this chapter and the following ones.

I noticed that I had a lot of typos in the last chapter. I'll just correct them if I have time, I think. Speaking of, (as always) I'm sorry for the typos and wrong grammar if there are any.
