Broken Mood

     Sehun woke up with a hint of excitement, expecting to have the same good start. He quickly finished his preparations and went downstairs. Well, his mom is in the bathroom while his dad is having a coffee in the kitchen while reading a newspaper. Fried rice and omelette can be seen on the table. Just before Sehun could greet his father, his father already said something, acknowledging his presence.

     "Oh, good morning, Sehun.", Mr. Oh said without averting his gaze from the newspaper. This made Sehun's eyes grow wider and his jaws parted a bit.

     "U-uhh... Good morning, dad.", Sehun responded and took a seat on the other side of the recatangular table. He gladly dug in to his breakfast and thanked God for another good start.

     He stood up and made sure he already brought his money and lunch box with him. When he's about to pass by the bathroom, Mrs. Oh made the door open and became shocked by Sehun's presence.

     "Oh? You're done already? Did you bring your money and lunch box with you? Brushed your teeth already?, Mrs. Oh, in her bathrobe, asked her son.

     "Uhmm... Money and lunch box, yes. Err... Brushing teeth? Not yet.", he replied and then he moved back to the sink, earning a grin from his parents. He then brushed his teeth.

     "Good thing you did not forget or else... you'll lose all your admirers with the bad breath!!", his dad joked while holding his white mug of coffee. His parents laughed and Sehun just smiled although he doesn't like stuffs when it comes to admirers. Let's just say, he's being humble.

     White puppy is pensive in a nice way while walking his way to school. He walked slowly, not mindful of the time. He woke up earlier than usual, it's still early anyway so he think it's okay. He arrived at the gates of the school at exactly 7:25 AM. His first class will start at 7:30 AM so somehow, he decided to walk faster.

     As he is about to take his turn to the left, he felt something hard bumped him. He was knocked few feet away and he saw several books scattered on the floor. He rubbed the back of his neck and let out a grunt when he realized that someone really bumped him. He stood up with a disgusted look on his face and cleared off the dust in his uniform. He saw a white-skinned blondie who fell on his . He looked at the boy as it stood up and gathered the books. The boy looked at him with a raised eyebrow.

     "Aren't you gonna help me?", the boy with doe-like eyes asked. Sehun scoffed with what he heard. The boy just continued picking up the books.

     "Huh! Seriously? You're running fast while I'm just walking. Even if I'm heavier than you, you still have a greater momentum. Remember it's formula? In case you forgot, it's p=mv; where p is the momentum, m is the mass and v is the velocity. It's you who bumped me causing me to be knocked a few feet away. So, technically, it's not my fault but yours. I should be the one who's complaining here.", Sehun coldly lectured with his pokerface. He felt like his good start was already ruined and it displeases him...a lot.

     The boy let out a deep breath while in an akimbo position. "Okay. Fine! Act like a sophisticated genius as much as you want. I don't care about that momentum or whatever! Sorry, but no thanks. I'm running late and I still have a review test on Physics. Nice meeting you, gentleman.", the boy replied with disgust. He said the last sentence sarcastically and put on an emphasis to the last word.

  
     He passed by Sehun while hugging his books. He made sure that their arms would collide. He successfully did and he ran without turning back to see the expression of the other boy.

     "I don't care about your test, either!", Sehun yelled loudly from afar.

  
     He made sure that the blondie would hear it. Well, yeah, Mr. Blondie heard it. He paused and looked back to Sehun. He gave Sehun his glare that suit well with his doe-like eyes and rolled them. He then saw Sehun giving him his so-then-what look. The boy scoffed and went back to its running moment.

     Sehun sighed deeply just to lessen the vexation welling up inside him. He hated the boy for breaking his mood and he guess that he'll wear the same pokerface all day. The bell rang and he hurried to his classroom.

     Sehun was a 'lil bit late and that added to the bad trip. He remained in a bad vibe the whole morning. At lunch time, he was dragged to the canteen by Kai again with the latter's hopes raised high. Kai noticed that the spirit of the Walking Miracle is not with Sehun today that's why he's hoping that his brother and the two new friends could retrieve it this lunch break.
 

     They were greeted by the cute shortie in the canteen along with a giant and... another shortie? It was Suho together with Chanyeol and Baekhyun respectively. The three were there, waiting for the two's late arrival. They're not that dumb not to notice white puppy's blank expression and bad mood.

     "Awww... I guess... Someone became less cute today, huh?", Suho mentioned. He's referring to Sehun since his smile wasn't around. He just looked at Suho blankly for a second then averted his eyes downward. Chanyeol noticed this and he tried an experiment.

     "Alright. I know that Suho. I'm less cute today since I didn't comb my hair properly, did I?", Chanyeol tried to crack a joke. Baekhyun laughed to it while the brothers try to suppress their laughs. They find him too cocky. Well, unfortunately, there's no effect to Sehun. He just ran his hands through his hair.

     "Hahaha! So confident of you to say that. You had your hair combed properly, Yeol. You forgot? I'm your stylist.", Baekhyun said in between laughs. Not mindful of the noisy laughs Baekhyun creates by himself only, Chanyeol covered his mouth by his right hand and let out his breath and smelled it.

     "Errr... I guess, that's because I forgot to brush my teeth? Suho, tell me, do bad breaths degrade cuteness?", Chanyeol asked and Kai can no longer suppress his laughs. He laughed with Baekhyun with matching loud claps and headbangs!
 

     "Oh really? You? Forgetting to brush your teeth? Impossible! Your vanity when it comes to teeth is incomparable, Yeol! I know that as your bestfriend. You brush three times a day that's why you bring your toothbrush and toothpaste with you. Tell me, you did not pee when you excused yourself to go to the CR yesterday lunch time, right? But instead, you brought your toothpaste & toothbrush with you and did the stuff!", Baekhyun revealed some of Chanyeol's funny secret. He really knows Chanyeol a lot, eh?

     Chanyeol can't help but be shy of the things Baekhyun revealed. All of them, who have a happiness hanging not too deep, laughed except the shy Chanyeol and the resident pokerface. Chanyeol's idea did not work but instead he got a tiny embarrassment from his bestfriend.

     "Let me tell you things, Chanyeol. First it's not you whom I'm referring as the one who became less cute. Second, duh?! What do you think is the answer to your question with the bad breath thing? Third, really, you can tell us that you're going to brush your teeth. You don't need to lie that you're just gonna pee. See? You got a bit embarrassed with what Baekhyun has spilt. Haha! Ehem... Fourth, make a death or life deal with Baekhyun before entrusting your secrets to him.", Suho said in a teasing tone. Baekhyun cutely pouted with the fourth thing Suho said.

  
     "No offense, Baek. Peace!", Suho said with a smile and let out a peace sign, more like an aegyo to them. Baekhyun just showed his yeah-fine-whatever look. Suho cleared his throat by saying "Ah" and gulped the saliva in his mouth.
 

     He looked around before he continued. He saw a girl running to a boy which seemed to be her boyfriend. He continued speaking after his head returned to the right place.
 

     "And the last, I'm older than you so you must call me...", Suho said in in-a-matter-of-fact tone and decided to pause a little.
 

     "Oppa!", the girl said from the background.
 

     "Oppa. That's it, oppa.", he continued with the same in-a-matter-of-fact tone. The four were alarmed with what Suho said and they looked at each other with widened eyes, and there was some sort of understanding. They then bursted into laughter, including Sehun. Suho realized his mistake after what he said replayed on his mind.
 

     "Uhh... I-I-I... I mean noona! Ah! No, no! Err... Hyung, it's hyung!", Suho stuttered with a pink blanket shaded on his cheeks. Apparently, he's blushing due to the embarrassment. The way he quickly retrieved his words of mistakes made the others laughed harder.

 

     "Yah! It's not funny, you know!", Suho exclaimed, trying to act as if nothing's really funny.
 

     "It really is funny, Suho-noona!", Sehun joked with his lips parted widely since he's laughing.

     Suho was shocked of what Sehun was doing and of what Sehun told him. He's about to argue when he realized Sehun is already laughing and smiling. He saw the glory of the Walking Miracle again and it's just a good sight to him. He smiled to it despite of the fact that others were mocking him and making fun of him.

     "Hahaha! I never thought that you wanted to be called as oppa or noona by boys. Tell me if you don't like it when I'm calling you hyung.", Kai said with teary eyes due to the joy.

     "Yah! Kim Jongin! Everything happens for a reason. I did that in purpose to make Sehun laugh.", Suho reasoned out.

     "Owws? The right quote there is 'Nobody is perfect.'. It's your mistake, and I believe it really is aa pure mistake.", Kai contradicted.
 

     "Whatever. Shut up.", Suho replied with a little disgust.
 

     "Okay, Suho-noona!", the younger teased the older. The victim just laughed at it. Sehun, on the other hand, happened to look at Chanyeol who has been laughing very hardly, exposing his derp face.
 

     "Hey. I guess Chanyeol's been very happy since the embarrassment was not put on him anymore.", he opened up and showed his teeth, gritting them gently as a form of mockery or a tease to Chanyeol.

 

     "Huh? Yeah, yeah! Whatever! By the way, let's have our lunch!. We've been here for half an hour already but we haven't eaten yet.", Chanyeol spoke.
 

     "Change topic!", the four exclaimed in unison and let out wild laughs.
 

     The five had their lunch. Sehun noticed that his lunch box has a crack on the side. It must be because of the hard bump with the floor earlier. This irritated Sehun and got more displeased as he was being reminded of that Mr. Blondie. Kai noticed the sudden change in Sehun's face and asked him of what's wrong. Kai, being trusted by Sehun, knew what happened since Sehun revealed it to him. Sehun hates the boy and he doesn't like the thought of him.

well, now, they've met. Few more bits of patience and the scenes will start to become exciting.
