Oh Sehun is a fifteen-year old boy who schools at Seoul Arts & Sciences Academy, a university in Seoul. He has that milky white, flawless skin. He is sometimes referred as white puppy by girls who admire his exceptional looks. Well, in addition to the description, he's tall and he has a brown hair and adorable lips. He's a lisp, by the way. He grew up in Korea with his parents. Both his mother and father are influenced by literature. His father is a fantasy book writer while his mother is a romance book writer. His parents are great authors working on the same company. Their jobs are not as easy as what you think for they are having more time being busy in story writing than taking care of their only son.

     Sehun was used to their routine. Ever since his parents started to become busy, he never had the courage of how he badly needs them at critical times. His family background gave him the reason to put on that expressionless and emotionless face. He got used to that expression until having a pokerface became his habit. 

     Sehun woke up due to the loud ringing noise his alarm clock was creating. The clocked showed four digits, a colon and two letters. He saw that it's 06:15 A.M. and he reluctantly got up from his bed and looked for his towel. After he found it, he walked to the bathroom and took a quick shower. He dressed up quickly and took care of his hairstyle. Afterwards, he went downstairs and saw his father lying comfortably on the couch while writing another story. Sehun looked for his mother with a 360° turn but she's nowhere to be found. He heard frying sounds in the kitchen and that caused him to check it out. Mrs. Oh was there, cooking bacon and eggs for breakfast.

     "Oh, you're just on time. Have your breakfast.", his mother said to him as soon as he was noticed. Sehun took a seat and then said, "Ah... Thanks. Good morning.", under his breath. He may be used to his parents being like that but he still has that hope that someday, his parents will return to their old selves... Back to the parents that cared a lot for him.

     After eating, he brushed his teeth and bade goodbye to his mom and dad. He was shocked and at the same time, very glad, because of what his parents replied. And well, a smile could be seen on his face which is considered as a rare phenomenon by some people. As in like...the alignment of the planets in the solar system? Well, it's just a couple of words that caused him to feel that gladness. Just a simple "Take care!" said simultaneously by Mr. & Mrs. Oh. It would sound empty if he would hear it from the lips of others but it would mean a lot to him if he would hear it from the two persons he loves the most, his parents.

     White puppy had quite a good start today. He walked to the school with that "rare phenomenon" still occuring. He feels very light and bright that early and he was hoping for it to continue. He kept on thinking of it over and over again. His hapiness may be shallow but if you're in his case, I think, you would more or less feel the same way.  

     To have a small glimpse of how Sehun feels, just imagine yourself and your parents. Think of the times you were very close and happy with each other. For example, you in your childhood, your "innocence-filled" stage. You're playing on the playground with your family. Your dad carrying you with your legs on his shoulders, then your mom enjoying the view with either bare eyes showing joy or a camera capturing the picture-perfect scene. Or either, a time where your dad is chasing you downstairs and you ended hiding behind your mom which is busy preparing dinner in the kitchen. Then she wipes the drops of sweat formed in your back and forehead, making you caught by the smiling chaser who then strikes you with effective tickles. Then, imagine that one day, all of those times disappeared. Instead of caring and protective parents that complete a strong and happy family, negligent and oblivious ones were replaced. Seeming like the old ones were wholly swallowed by something even you, yourself, find "unknown". Maybe that "unknown" is time? How about changes? Or maybe that said "unknown" is merely a necessity? But how could it be and why should it be? It may sound like a riddle to you and that's how Sehun sees it. It's a pain in the heart, isn't it? Then, there comes this day where you already thought and believed that the word "care" never existed in your parents new vocabulary, you'll just hear them say "take care"? How's the impact and how'd you feel? Kinda overwhelming inexplicable feeling? For Sehun, it really is. He maybe a 'lil bit pessimistic about his parents but he still holds a very little hope somewhere deep inside him as stated earlier.

      "Ooh... Is what I'm seeing real?", Kai, Sehun's tan-skinned classmate, as well as closest friend, asked as Sehun came in with an upward curve on his lips.

     His classmates heard what Kai said and it caught their attention, resulting to a moment where Kai has all the eyes settled on him. They saw Kai looking at Sehun's direction and they saw what the tan-skinned saw. They had the same reactions and expressions. Gasps out of shock and murmurs out of intrigue were heard. 

     Sehun looked around and realized that he's the cause of the gentle commotion. He bowed his head down and his cheeks became pinkish in color due to the unknown reason. Kai walked towards him with a good smirk.

      "Hey! I guess, I'm lucky enough to witness the first miracle that occured in my teenage years, huh? What's up buddy? Did the resident pokerface won the lottery or a lovely angel just fell on front of you while you're on your way here to school?", Kai asked with a happy curiosity. Don't know but that's how white puppy describes Kai's manner of asking.

      "Did a chick pecked somewhere in your living daylights, huh, huh?", Kai added with a nudge by his left elbow.

     Normally, Sehun gets irritated by that but he let it pass this time. He doesn't want to let a stupid question ruin his good start. He looked at his classmate slash seatmate slash closest friend. Uhhh.... that means, closest among other classmates. They knew each other since they're still kids anyway.

     Sehun is like a walking blank sheet of test paper but still, he attracts lotsa admirers and somewhat fans. Among those who want to be close or be a friend of Sehun, only a few of them are very lucky enough to have Sehun's attention. The luckiest of them all is Kai. He doesn't admire Sehun or want Sehun's attention like others do yet he can have the white puppy's attention.

      "No, so just shut up, kid.", Sehun talked back in his normal tone.

      "Whoa! I thought I'm just dreaming until you spoke. I thought you'd answer me with smiling eyes.", Kai teased and Sehun just hissed.

     Their teacher came in and the students shuffled to their seats. Sehun and Kai went to their seats reluctantly and the girls they passed by greeted Sehun which Sehun just ignored. They immediately started their class and their subject is Mathematics. Others find their lesson difficult but both Sehun and Kai find it like a piece of cake.

     Morning classes soon ended and it means, it's lunch time. Sehun was dragged to the canteen by Kai and he cursed under his breath when he realized that he forgot his lunch. He also forgot to get his weekly allowance above their fridge. Kai sensed the uneasiness in Sehun's face and so, he decided to do something. Sehun went to the washroom and Kai took the advantage. He opened Sehun's bag and he found no lunch and money in it. Now, he found out what happened to Sehun and got the idea of what to do. Perfect timing, he saw his older brother only few tables away from them. He took Sehun's bag and sat beside his older brother. He asked a favor if his bro, Suho, could treat Sehun for lunch. At first, Suho was hesitant because he thought why would Kai ask him to treat Sehun if he could treat him by himself. Kai then just made a bet and Suho agreed.

     "Sehun, over here!", Kai shouted to get the boy's attention who was left puzzled while standing on the table they settled before.

     He went to Kai and was greeted by Suho. The younger just smiled at him since it's his will to end the day similar to how he started it. The older's jaws dropped and his eyes widened as if he saw a ghost in a very y attire. Red bikini maybe?

     "Told ya, brother! Sehun is a walking miracle today.", Kai said and Sehun took a seat beside him aftering elbowing him.

     "Y-yeah... Can't believe it.", Suho spoke with an amazed face.

     "Well, brother, for the bet.", Kai said after smirking. Suho then gave him an okay-fine-you-win look.

     "Huh? What's with the bet?", Sehun asked out of curiosity. He doesn't have any idea about what happened.

     "Oh, Kai found out that you left your lunch & money. He asked me if I could treat you. At first, I was hesitant because I was thinking that my good brother here is being stingy again. He set a bet that I'll treat you if I'll see you smiling. If not, he'll take care of the treat. I agreed and there. You know the outcome.", Suho explained, leaving a puzzled Sehun.

     "Here, Kai, go buy lunch good for the three of us.", his brother said while taking & giving out the money to Kai. Kai then happily stood up to follow his brother's command.

     "You know, Sehun, you look much more cute when you smile.", Sehun was left flattered with those words and he felt himself blush. He looked down and uttered, "Ahh... Thank you. Thank you for the lunch. I'll pay you tomorrow.".

     "What? What did you say? Nah. No need. Don't pay me anymore. Seeing a walking miracle is enough already. Tsh... I can't believe that for the years I've known you, I saw your smile just a few minutes earlier."

     Sehun secretly smiled and then looked at Kai's direction. Suho got a phone call and Sehun mouthed some words saying that he'll help Kai carry the trays with their lunch. When they came back, two more guys joined Suho.

     "Oh, Suho-hyung, who do we have here?", Kai put down the trays together with Sehun.

     "Ahh... They are my friends. I met them on some sort of a contest and I was totally shocked when thay found me here. They're our schoolmates yet I just found out. If not because of their phone call, confirming my existence in this school, I might never know. By the way, this tall guy here is Chanyeol and this shorter one with eyeliner is Baekhyun. Guys, this is my younger brother, Jongin. Call him Kai since he prefer it. And his close friend, Sehun."

     "Ehh? You talk a lot, hyung. Oh, hi, nice to meet you.", Kai said to them while his close friend just bowed down gently.

     They shook hands with each other and they had talks about each other like year level, section, likes, dislikes, and whatever stuffs that came in to their minds. For a short time, they became good friends with each other, including the so-called walking miracle. Kai was amazed once again because he thought he saw another miracle occur right in the front him. Sehun gets along pretty well with them and it's very rare. They exchanged phone numbers and separated when the noise of the bell was heard.

     Classes ended and it's time to go home. Kai and Sehun walked home together. Their houses are just few blocks away from each other and the two pass by the same path.

     Out of too much curiosity, Kai asked why Sehun behaved so nice today. This time, seriously. Sehun told him and asked Kai to promise that it should be kept. Kai was amazed of it and became happy for his close friend. After few minutes of walking, they separated ways. Sehun came home with his normal expression and smiled once again when his parents gave him warm greetings and those worried faces knowing that Sehun left his lunch and his money. To Sehun, this day is spectacular.
