Days passed by and soon it was the weekends.

I slept in until an hour before noon.

Getting off my bed, I reached for my phone only to catch 5 text messages from Appa,Jiho and JiEun.

Appa- Godmorning darling, you awake?

Appa- Well I’ll be out of town till end of next week. Sorry for not informing you earlier. Love you sweetie.

Jiho- ------, yo. Wanna go out today? My treat :D

JiEun- -----ah, I’ve got something to tell you.

JiEun- ----- Reply soon please.

I sighed and replied every single text messages back.

I realized that it was 17^thFeb.

*I know something major gonna happen today*

I tried my best recalling the major event that supposedly happen today.

I sighed heavily and headed for a shower.

When I got out, a note popped out in my phone.

~~~~Jiho turns seventeen today!~~~~

Thank God I saved it in my phone.

I quickly got ready and put on my best dress.

I tied my hair into messy braids and plaits. Done, I grabbed my bag and left the house.

As usual, I would go to the guest house to make a personalized birthday gifts for people.

On this special day, I decided to make a ring with Jiho’s name engraved on it.

Enduring the whole of 2 hours, I finally completed the task.

Washing up, I glanced myself in the mirror and sighed.

My hair. It’s always in a mess.

I retied my hair into a messy bun and let down my side fringe.

Satisfied, I packed Jiho’s gift and dialed his number.

“Annyeong!” I tried sounding as happy as ever.

“Annyeong. Yah, why didn’t you reply me?”

I giggled and cut the conversation.

I hopped on the bus and alighted at Jiho’s favourite hangout place.

Jiho’s POV.

 I stared down at my shoelaces when I spotted a pair of legs standing in front of me.

I looked and saw ------. I’m glad she came.

I stood up and stared at her in the eyes. Without any hesitation, ------ moved closer and hugged me.

I was touched by her warm and cuddly hug.

“Happy seventeenth Jiho!” She exclaimed as she handed out a petite blue box.

I accepted it an opened it.

It’s a ring. Yes, a ring with my name on it.

“I have it for myself too! See, my name’s on it” She showed me her ring.

*She remembered.*

Touched, I hugged her.

*Gomawo --------ah*

I cleared my throat.

“Since I turned seventeen earlier than you do, mind calling me oppa?”

I expected her to blush or even worse start acting all feisty.

But, no. She willingly agreed to it and slung an arm around my shoulder.

“Saenggil chukka Jiho Oppa!”

I tried hiding my face as it turns red upon ------- birthday wish.

It’s a wish I never wanna forget from my first true friend.

I know Jiho's brithdate supposed to be 14 november. But it doesnt suit my setting.

So yeah, seventeenth feb tat is :D
