“------sshi , will you go to the General Office? The principal wants to see you,” Mr Choi instructed.

I gulped.

Now what? What have I done?

I grudgingly stood up and left the aisle.

All eyes were on me like I’m some kind of culprit.

Annoyed, I dashed out of the classroom.

“Mr Park? I’ve come to see you,” I knocked on the door.

“Ah, yes. Take a seat please,”

Then he handed me two envelopes. What’s this suppose to mean?

“Read them,”

I nodded and read them one by one.

JiEun and Junhyung dropped out from school ?!

I almost choked on my saliva.

“Do you have any idea for the reasons behind these drop-outs?”

“I..I. Recently, they had major family problems. So I figure out this I the reason,” I stuttered. Still surprised by their actions.

They couldn’t have just left like that. They’re too young to settle things on their own. They need us, our help.

“Then.. I should inform their parents about them,”

But before he could pick up the phone, I stopped him.

“Mr Park, in case you haven’t knew. Junhyung’s an orphan since he was four. Whereas JiEun’s parents died in a plane crash 3 years ago. It’s impossible to contact their nearest possible relatives. Only I am their closest friend,” I explained.

Mr Park sighed and permitted me to leave.

I decided to skip school to find them.

“Mr Choi, I’ll be leaving. I’ve got some urgent matters to attend to,”

He nodded and continued with his lesson.

Before leaving, I glanced at Jiho Oppa who’s still sleeping at the back of the class.

I rolled my eyes and left.

I tried calling their phones but it seemed like they knew I’m gonna call them.

Suddenly, a motorbike pulled in nearby.

“Need to go somewhere?” He cleared his throat.

That voice…

“GD oppa! What are you doing here?” My face lit up.

“What are YOU doing here?”

I giggled.

“Hop on , we’ll find them together,”

I put on the helmet and off we went.

Luckily, GD oppa was there.

We had some kind of telepathy.

He knows what I’m gonna do and I knew what he’s gonna do.

I somehow felt like he’s my longlost brother.

What a joke, I’m the only child in my family.

Somewhere near Namsan tower, GD oppa spotted Junhyung cleaning the windows.

“Junhyung , what are you doing?!” I gasped.

He turned around, eyes widened.

He scratched his head and explained everything.

“I quitted school to support my new family,” he faked a smile.

I hugged Junhyung. I knew he needed a hug right now.

“Don’t worry, we’ll help out too alright,” I caressed his back.
