Once I began,

Once your eyes glazed over in agony,

The sliver of will within me to stop

Fluttered away so quickly, so lightly,

I wondered if it was there in the first place.

Your throat is too dry for screams now,

I clutch your neck with my hands

And our pulsing veins line up

In some sort of terrifyingly delectable design,

And my nails scratch at scarred flesh

Until your blood and mine mix

And struggling hands fall to the ground.

Crimson staining my hands,

I throw my head back with burning eyes

And I laugh.
