Three years earlier

From the outside, a faint whining sound could be heard coming from the office of Yang Hyun Suk, or YG. If someone was to go in this room, they would be greeted by a humorous scene. YG was sitting behind his desk with a look of amusement in his eyes and a smile on his face while a small but tall girl was leaning over his desk with a pointed finger trying to poke his nose. Sadly for her, YG just smiled wider and leaned back further in his chair, just out of the girl’s reach.

“YG appaaaaaaaa! Why did you have to put me in this group?” The girl whined, now with her upper body laid across the table and her arm extended fully still trying to poke him.

“Didn’t you want to debut?” He answered with a question, his eyes scanning over the young girl before him. Her long hair was laying over her right shoulder with the ends in tendrils. Her eyebrows were scrunched and her lips were in a soft pout.

“Of course I do, you know that, but you’re making me the leader! I’m so young and they’re older than me. How am I supposed to lead my Unnies and Oppas? What if someone gets sick?” “Then give them medicine and send them to the companies doctor.” “Okay, what if someone comes home drunk?” “Call Jiyong or CL.” “Yeah? Well, what if someone gets PREGNANT?” “Then call me, I’ll definitely deal with that.” Despite his calm answers the girl continued with her attempted assault of the older man. He just smiled and let out a hearty laugh; he then reached out and rubbed the spot between her eyes making her un-scrunch her face. “Relax child, I know you’re going to do fine and besides, I didn’t pick you to be the leader, someone else did.”

“Really? Who?”

Right on time, the door to YG’s office opened. “Speak of the Devil…” YG muttered quietly but still loud enough for her to hear. “What? Jiyong Oppa?” The girl slid herself off the table and ran across the room, launching herself at the man in mention. He just smiled and moved his hands up to prevent her from falling, holding her much like how a brother would hold his younger sister. “Yes my darling dearest? What can I do for you on this fine day?” He teased, letting her down so she could stand. “Do you mind telling me why you think I should be the leader of this group? How am I supposed to lead people older than me? Do you want me to go crazy? Huh? Huh? HUH?” she questioned, staring up at him with her doe-like eyes. “Okay to answer your questions; no, I don’t mind telling you, you’re going to lead them just fine and what do you mean go crazy? I lead people older than me.” “Exactly, that is exactly why you’re so crazy now!” She joked. “Aish, you hang out with Seungri too much, he’s rubbing off on you. But really you are going to do just fine, I have been helping with your training since you came and you’re doing well, this is going to be a piece of cake for you to do, alright?”. “Alright Oppa.”

“Woah! Hold on there. How is it that I’ve been trying to calm her down for the past thirty minutes and you come in here and do it in three?” YG questioned, a baffled expression present on his face. “What can I say? I guess I just have the Dragon touch.” G-Dragon answered back with a playful smirk.

“Alright, alright well go and take your “Dragon touch” and your little mini-me out of here please, I have work to do.” YG said calmly. “Arasso Songseng-nim! Come on girlie” With that, G-Dragon scooped up the girl, throwing her over his shoulder and started to jog lightly away as if that was something he did every day. “Hold on Oppa, let me down please” the girl politely requested. Doing what she asked, G-Dragon put her down and she swiftly ran across the room, around the table that was holding her back earlier and poked Mr. Yang Hyun Suk on the nose softly. “I win” She giggled and ran back to G-Dragon, hopping on his back before yelling “Let us be off horsey!” and with that that, they were gone.

“Oh, children these days” YG mused, shuffling through the seven files before him “Well even though she complained, I know she along with these other kids will blow all the other rookie groups away, yes they will.”
