Chapter Eight: Water Play

               Kai pressed his ear against the cool metal door, he heard no movment from inside and turned back to his friends, He placed a finger to his grinning lips and started typing in numbers into the keypad. The front door unlocked and Kai slowly and quietly opened the door it let out a groan of protest but he managed to be as quiet as possible and the group followed him inside.

               Baekhyun, Tao, Chanyeol, and Xiumin quickly left the group and found the kitchen they were soon diging through cupboards and finding food. Suho rolled his eyes and crossed his arms as he examined the large apartment, it was very clean, neat, and organized.  Suho walked into the living room with Sehun andChen, and they started watching TV.

               “You guys are unbelievable” Kai groaned and walked straight down the hallway to the first room on the left. Luhan, Kyungsoo, Minyeo and Lay followed.  “GOD YOU TAKE FOREVER!!” Minyeo shouted and through the door open.

               From the sudden shout and loud bang Seyi shout up in her bed startled, only to be tackled back down onto her bed by Minyeo. “YAH!!!” Seyi screamed at Minyeo and quickly covered herself with her comforter. “YAH!!” Kai snapped at Minyeo and sent her a glare. Minyeo rolled her eyes and glared back at Kai as she get off Seyi. Kai continued glaring at her, just as Seyi had caught her breath from the sudden attack when Kai suddenly launched himself at her. She quickly rolled out of the way and he landed face first on the spot  Seyi was previously sitting.

               “Why are you guys here?” She groaned and rubbed her temples. Kai pouted and wiggled around on the bed until he was under the covers and hugging Seyi around the waist. She looked at him and scrunched up her nose. “They wanted to come and surprise you, remember we all planed to hang out since it’s the weekend plus it’s the first weekend we get to hang out with Luhan!” Lay beamed a smile.

               Yep it has officially been a week since Luhan arrived, and it was his first weekend he got to spend in Korea. To make it better he now had friends to spend the weekend with. In those five days he had been in Korea Luhan succesfully became the soccer teams captain, captured the hearts of many girls just like the other boys, and had been officially labled as one of the cutest/hotest 2^nd year males. In five days Luhan managed to gain more attention to himself and became just as popular as Jongin who held the title as the most popular 2^nd year male.

               “That’s okay right?” Luhan asked Seyi with a smirk. No one else saw that smirk except Seyi and she scowled and looked away. Also in his five days Luhan and Seyi only managed to grow more annoyed towards one another. It didn’t help that Seyi lived just a floor above Luhan he ended up always seeing her even when he didn’t want to see her. She found things that annoyed her about him, and he only found more things he disliked about her. But for the sake of his new friends Luhan forced himself to get along with her when everyone was together.

               “Get out so I can get dressed” Seyi told them. “Yeah! Hurry up and leave!” Kai snapped pouting like a little kid. Seyi looked down at him and peeled his hands off her body, “That means you to” she said grouchily and got off the bed. Luhan quickly covered his eyes seeing as she was only in a sports bra and spandex shorts. Lay and Kai snickered. “What Lulu have you never seen a girl in such little clothing?” Kai snickered.

               “Shes you’re girlfriend and you’re trying to egg a guy on to look at her so exposed?!” Minyeo smacked Kai’s head hard. “Im just teasing his innocent eyes!” Kai snapped.

               Luhan scoffed. “Just because ive never dated doesn’t mean ive never seen a girl !” Luhan dropped his hand and glared at Kai playfully. “It was out of respect for her as female” he rolled his eyes.

               “Lulu Y-you’re not-not! AAAHHH!!” Kai screamed dramaticly. He jumped off the bed and jumped onto Luhan wrapping his legs around Luhan’s waist, and his arms around Luhans neck tightly. Luhan stumbled a bit and almost fell down because of Kais weight. “LUHAN ISN’T PURE!! LUHAN ISN’T PURE!!!” Kai cried.

               “GET OFF ME!!!” Luhan screeched stumbling out of the room  and almost falling down in the hallway. Minyeo and Lay followed them leaving Seyi alone. She could still hear Luhan shouting at Kai and Kai crying to Luhan. “MY ANGEL ISNT PURE!!!!!” Kai screamed. “IM OLDER THAN YOU!!!” Luhan screamed louder, which was followed by a loud thud and shouting from everyone else. Seyi shook her head and shut her door. After brushing her teeth and washing her face Seyi went to her closet and picked out an outfit for the day, it was pretty warm and sunny, the perfect warm day to wear cool clothes. She picked out a pair of shorts and a green sheer button up blouse, she found a black cami to go under and put the outfit on. She admired the shirt in the mirror. It was sheer so she wouldn’t get over heated, there were no sleeves, and the back was open there was no way she was going to be a sweaty mess by the end of the day. She found her purse and put her phone, wallet, and lip gloss inside.

               Seyi’s favorite makeup accessory lip gloss. Usually she kept around 26 different flavored lipglosses in her makeup bag at school. But since she was just hanging out for the weekend she only placed five of her favorites inside: cherry vanilla, Mint, Orange cream, berry, and Kai’s favorite Cotton candy. She took the cotton candy lip gloss and applied it to her lips leaving a glossy coat over her lips. She pat her cheeks and ran a hand through her hair, she pulled it back and tied it up in a high pony tail.

               “Where are we going today?” Seyi asked emerging from her room. “I chose that outfit for you right?!” Minyeo asked excitedly. “Yeah, I like it a lot, very cute, perfect for summer” Seyi smiled at her best friend. “I like it a lot too!!” Kai shouted, he had Luhan pinned to the ground and was sitting on Luhans chest. “What….are you doing Jongin?” Seyi frowned confused at the two boys positions it looked kind of….

               “Luhan won’t tell me about his first time!” Kai said. “Oh my gosh” Seyi sighed rubbing her temples. “WHY WOULD I TELL YOU THAT? That’s private?! Who gives details about their first time!?” Luhan shouted at Kai struggling to get out from under his weight.

               “I DO! My first time was with Se-” Seyi was quick and she covered Kai’s mouth just in time. She stood behind him with one hand pulling his perfectly styled black hair and the other covering his mouth. “Lets go while its still nice out!” she said pulling Kai off Luhan by his hair. “OW! OW! OW!” Kai cried when she removed her hold on his mouth but not his hair.

               “Those two are seriosuly something else!” Suho said shaking his head and chuckling. “cute” Luhan added and folwed the two out. “Lets walk! That way we can give a tour to Luhan!” Sehun beamed a smile. Sehun was like Luhans favorite younger brother.

               “This is Myeongdong market” Minyeo explained. “Really big, really fun to go to, but crowded on weekends” she shook her head. Luhan smiled and nodded, but for some reason he couldn’t help but keep his eyes focused on Kai and Seyi’s interlocked hands. They were walking in front of Luhan and were talking to each other softly by whispering into one another, meaning they had to lean into one another often. A group of guys passed by Luhans large group and Luhan noticed how Kai kind of glared out of the corner of his eyes and let go of Seyi’s hand only to put his whole arm around her small shoulders and bring her closer.

               “Dude isn’t that the chinese guy we saw last week?!” Luhan heard the guys shout. He quickly stopped and glanced over his shoulder to see the familiar faces of the gang he encountered  during his first few days in Korea. “HA! It is him!!!” the voices shouted. “YAH! China man!” the boys shouted. Luhan quickly looked forward wanting to avoid the boys but when they called China Man Tao, and Lay also turned around both sending icey cold glares at the group of boys. Luhan sighed loudly and turned around to face them.

               “Excuse me?” Tao asked with a deadly tone. He hated being judged by others for being Chinese. Although he was never bullied by anyone in school he was definatly looked down upon by older koreans or kids from other schools.

               “Not you two the chinese boy!” the boys snapped with an attitude. “Luhan are they friends of yours?” Suho asked. Luhan looked at them with an innocent terrified look but it suddenly turned wicked and he smirked. “Friends?” Luhan smirked  he sent a glare to them. “Why would I ever be friends with racist little bastards like them?” Luhan asked tilting his head and eyeing down the leader of the group. Tao cracked his knuckles and stepped forward. “Is there a problem being Chinese?” Tao asked glaring at them.

               “Of course! They’re trash that don’t belong here! Go back to your own country and pollute it!-” The guy was cut off by Kai launching himself at the guy. Kai yanked his hair and raised a knee sharply kneeing the guy in the gut. The guy gasped and coughed roughly as the air was knocked out of him. “Don’t talk about my friends as if their trash, if anything you’re the real rubish here!” Kai snapped pushing him away, and the guy fell to his side still coughing.

               Seyi quickly grabbed Kai’s arm trying to pull him back, “Kai come on, lets not start anything” Seyi whispered. “What? Now you have a little to back you up?!” the leader laughed. Kai was so close to killing the guy if not for Seyi holding him back. Seyi looked at the guy with unwavering eyes, unlike Kai’s who were killer. Seyi looked the guy up and down then smirked. “You seem easy why don’t you leave that guy and come play with us” the leader smirked.

               “Sorry I don’t associate with heads, and ugly ones at that” She sneered. “!-” “You know…At least this guy can actually get a girlfriend, and sleep with a girl, I bet you’re still right?” Seyi asked. “YAH! !” The guy quickly tried to grab at Seyi but Luhan was way faster, within a split second Luhan was infront of Seyi he held the guys wrist, he pressed down hard on the bone of the leaders left hand, while twisting his right hand inhumanly. The guy let out a cry of pain and his knees got weak.

               “Today’s a nice day right? Lets have it end well and not with you in a hospital” Luhan said letting go of the guys hands and pushing him away. The guy and his friends left quickly leaving Luhan to face his friends. He turned around to see the whole group staring at him with wide or surprised eyes, that the innocent deer boy could turn so dark. “Sorry you had to see that, they’ve been messing with me since I arrived here, generally I have a good controll of my temper, but I can’t stand seeing a guy raise a hand towards a girl” Luhan said crossing his arms .

               “Whatever! Whatever lets just go!” Chen spoke up shaking his head back and forth quickly. The group split up leaving Luhan with Kai, Sehun, Seyi, Chanyeol, and Baekhyun, they went into a victoria secrets store first, while the other half of the group was heading towards the food court. “Why are we in here again?” Sehun groaned looking around awkwardly due to the maniquins in y langerie and the beautiful Angel’s on posters across walls of the store. Chanyeol looked sick to death because of the strong scent from the many perfumes. “Kai and Seyi shop for lip gloss together” Baekhyun groaned.

               “So Kai’s that kind of guy…” Luhan teased the younger boy. “Hey! Control you’re imagination Xi Luhan there is a perfectly good explanation as to what I of all people would accompany my girlfriend to buy lip gloss!” Kai snapped.

               “You only come along because you like to taste them” Seyi sighed picking up a light baby blue tube with a silver cap. She opened the cap and smeered a bit on her finger before applying it to her lips. Luhan watched as she pressed her lips together and rubbed the sticky substance evenly over her lips. “This ones french vanilla…” Seyi mumbled and set the tester back in its place, then grabbed a fresh new tube and placed it in her little basket.

               When they finished the group left the mall and went to the park. There were already a lot of families and little kids playing around. They all set their stuff on the dry grass and took their shoes off. “Lets play tag!!” Chanyeol shouted. “You’re it then!!” Baekhyun screeched and they all ran from Chanyeol quickly. “NO!!” Chanyeol screamed and ran after them he tagged Kai who was closest.

               “YAH!!” Kai screamed and ran for them. The group was running all over the place but still keeping in a tight knit a majority of their play was around the water fountian which resulted in Minyeo, Lay, Sehun, Tao, Kyungsoo, and Chanyeoll being soaked from the spraying water.

               “Lulu’s it!!!” Kai screamed with joy and quickly ran away from the deer boy. “No fair!!” Luhan whinned and looked around for his friends. He saw Seyi first trying to run away with Minseok and Luhan took off after them. “WHY ARE YOU SO FAST?!?!” Seyi screamed breaking away from Minseok who was long gone.

               “No!! Stay away from me!!” Seyi laughed. Luhan almost stopped chasing her when he saw her laughing and smiling towards him. It was the first time she had ever shown him such a reaction and he actually thought….she looked pretty. However because he hadnt stopped running he collided into her by accident since he couldn’t exactly stop on the slippery ground due to the water fountain they were running in. “AH!” they both screamed, Luhan tried to steady her but because it was slippery Seyi lost her balance and slipped. Thanks to his quick reflexes Luhan wrapped his arms around her and landed on the ground first breaking the fall for her. “Uff!” Luhan let out a groan and quickly let go of Seyi, she rolled off him to see Luhan curling into a fetal position.

               Apparently during the fall Seyi accidently kneed him in the groin. “Oh my god!” She gasped shocked and stood up quickly, seyi had never been in this situation and didn’t know what to do. “What happened?!” Minseok gasped jogging over to them. “Hyung!” Luhan whimpered when Minseok placed a  hand on Luhans shoulders trying to turn him back around so he could look at Luhans face. “Hyung I don’t think I can have kids anymore!” Luhan groaned.

               Hearing those words Minseok couldn’t help but laugh. He gave Seyi a playful glare. “Come on Lulu lets get up” Minseok chuckled and helped luhan stand. “Just walk it off! Just walk it off!” Minseok told him.

               “Seyi~!” Seyi heard Kai scream her name and soon she was engulfed in the tan boys arms she squealed when he lifted her off the ground. Kai ran to the little kiddie pool area that was basically just shallow water that reached up to their knees. He dropped her in it soaking the rest of Seyi’s clothes. “What was that for!!” she whinned and yanked him in after her. “You hurt my lulu!!” Kai cried and scrunched up his nose while covering his own groin as he imagined the pain.

               “I didn’t mean to! I swear!” Seyi complained. She jumped up into Kai’s arms wrapping her legs around his waist and her arms around his neck while he carried her back to their stuff where Luhan was resting and Minseok was patting his head while trying to get Luhan to drink some water.

               “Luhan” Seyi said when Kai put her down. “Im sorry! Im so sorry! I didn’t mean to!!” She apologized. “If I can’t have kids im stealing you’re first born!” Luhan joked while looking at Kai since the joke was intended for the couple. “And we shall name our first born daughter Luyi then marry her off to you’re first born son who shall be named Hanin!” Kai joked merging Luhan, Seyi, and his names together.

               “Is that you’re couple name? Hanin?” Minseok laughed. “Actually!!” Kai rolled his eyes placing a hand on his hip and trying very very hard to look like a diva, “Its Jonglu!” Kai said making his voice two octaves to high.

               “Are we even? You stole my boyfriend!” Seyi asked luhan then laughed. “were even, Kai’s all mine now~!” Luhan sang then blew a kiss to Kai, although he was watching Seyi the whole time. He really liked that she was friendly with him at the moment and not yelling or glaring at him. Rather she was laughing and smiling, She looks pretty like that Luhan thought and laughed at himself.

A/N: I feel like i really need to hurry and get to the fight scene before the second part is even out, but the growl teaser was released some time ago so i feel sort of rushed. As you can already see it took Seyi 8 chapters to warm up to Luhan and also hurt him. I want to make their friendship transition a bit slow and not rush it, so this may actually end up being totally different from the actual wolf MV but im having  fun with this.
