“I’m ready to see them now.”

Jae said to the phone while holding onto the button and sitting at her desk.

When she let go of the button she leaned back against her chair, 6 chairs on the other side of her desk, folders in front of each chair and another one in front of her.

She took the folder and began to flip through it, one leg on top of another.

She heard the door creak and she saw them come it.

She stood up with a smile on her face and she held out her hand to SHINee’s manager.

“Annyeonghaseyo. I’m Lee Jae Song. You can call me Jae.”

The manager smiled.

“I’m Kim Min Yeon.”

“Mr. Kim.” She said and then she looked at SHINee.

“And this is the representatives for our company?”

Their manager took a step towards the side and the five of them stood together.

“Annyeonghaseyo! We are shining SHINee!”

Jae laughed as if she didn’t know them.

“Annyeonghaseyo. I’m Jae Song. Jae is fine.”

“Jae…do you…remember us?”

Jae looked at the maknae and acted as if she didn’t know what he was talking about.

“I’m sorry? I don’t think we’ve met before have we?” Jae said politely and she noticed that Taemin’s posture dripped a bit and she felt like she had been stabbed.

“Please, sit down and we can discuss the ad you’ll be doing for us.”

Jae said and put her hand out and began to walk to the back of her desk.

“Please, take a seat.” She said again and waved at the seats in front of her with a smile.

Their manager sat down in the front and to his right sat Onew, Taemin and to his left was Jonghyun, Key and Minho.

Flipping through the folder Jae began to explain.

“I would like to film this commercial with SHINee being mature and not acting cute like I have seen in their past commercials.”

Jae saw their manager flip through the book and saw that Jonghyun, Key and Minho was doing the same thing but Onew and Taemin was staring at Jae.

Jae took a gulp and turned towards Onew and Taemin.

“If it is possible, I would like Onew-ssi to be in the center this time.”

Their manager and Jonghyun looked up.

“What do you mean?”

Jae smiled and turned back towards their Manager.

“Because in past commercials that they have done and even in some pictures that they have taken Jonghyun-ssi is always in the middle and this time I want to try it differently. I would like Onew to be in the middle, Taemin and Minho on either side of him and then Jonghyun next to Taemin and Key next to Minho.”

Everyone was now staring at her.

“Is that not possible?” Jae asked worried.

“Ahh…anio. I just thought that…”

Jae smiled.

“I thought that seeing as Onew is the oldest, he should obviously be in the middle since the mood of this ad is maturity. Does that make sense?”

Their manager smiled and then nodded.

“You’re right. It should be that way.”

Their manager turned towards the members.

“Do any of you have any problems with that?”

“Anio…” They all replied astounded at the arrangement.

“Ne.”

Was the one word that stood out.

Jae froze.

She should’ve known that this was going to happen.

She slowly turned her chair towards Onew and said to him,

“Wae?”

“I don’t want to be in the middle.”

“Wae?” Jae asked again, her confidence beginning to fall apart at Onew’s gaze.

“I just don’t want to be.”

Jae saw his manager give him a death stare.

Jae turned back to Onew and smiled.

“In that case, then maybe we should follow-“

“Anio, anio! It’s fine. Onew-ssi will do exactly as you ask.”

Their manager cut in and Jae smiled and then clapped.

“Araso. Okay, the ad will be based on phones. What is all your favourite colors?”

Jae asked the SHINee members.

“I like orange.” Jonghyun said right away.

“Blue.” Minho continued.

“Green is mine.” Key said with a smile.

“Pink please.” Taemin chirped in.

“Black.” Onew said with no emotion behind it.

“Araso.”

Jae pressed the button on her phone and said to it,

“Please bring an orange, blue, green, pink and black phone with the SIM card inside fully charged.”

“Sure. Be there in a second.”

Jae let go on the button when she heard that and sat there.

Soon, the door opened and Jae’s secretary was holding onto 5 boxes stacked together.

She came over and put the boxes in front of Jae.

Jae smiled at her.

“That will be all.”

She smiled and then bowing she left.

Jae handed the boxes to each of them and they looked at it and then back at her.

“This is for your use. A free phone with the SIM card already inside. I want you to use it and use the feelings you feel to film the ad. If you don’t like it, film it with hatred. If you like it, film it with maturity and liking.”

Jonghyun opened his phone.

“Can we keep this?”

Jae nodded.

“But we can’t use it once we’re out of the States.”

“Anio. This phone can be used in any part of the world. It can connect to the computed, it can do almost everything.”

Taemin looked at his phone and then looked up at Jae with amazment.

“Jinjja?”

Jae nodded and then stood up, her hand in front of her.

SHINee stood up, holding onto their phone and box and their manager shook her hand.

“I hope that we can film a good ad together.”

Their manager smiled.

“Ne.”

Their manager walked behind his chair and then bowing he said,

“I hope we’ll see you soon.”

Jae smiled and walked out of behind her desk and shook his hand again as they left.

When Onew was the only one left he stood there, his phone in his hand.

Jae smiled at Onew and held out her hand.

“It was nice to meet you.”

“When do you get off work?”

Jae looked up at Onew surprised.

“Wae?”

“We need to talk Jae.”

Onew took a step towards Jae and she took a step back and looked up at Onew.

“I finish at 7.”

Onew smiled.

“But I don’t want to talk to you.” Jae said.

Onew’s smile disappeared.

“Wae?”

Onew said a bit hurt.

“Haven’t you hurt me enough already? Why do you need to hurt me more?”

Jae said and began to walk away.

Suddenly, Onew grabbed her and spun her around.

“Anio! It isn’t like that!”

Jae turned to face Onew, a tear sliding down her face.

Seeing Jae like that, Onew let go of her arm and then stood there, not knowing what to do

“Mianhae Jae…”

Jae looked up at Onew and said quietly, her heart hurting.

“It’s too late…it’s too late…”
