Red - Sohee's thoughts

Kai broke the hug and looked at Sohee straight in the eyes.

"Sohee-ah, I have something to tell you." he said.

Sohee gulped and nodded to Kai signaling him to continue. "I know it is selfish to like your bestfriend right?" Kai chuckled nervously.

Sohee looked at him, confused. "What do you mean Jongin?" She asked.

Kai sighed. "I like you. No scratch that. I love you Yoon Sohee. Ever since we're small." Sohee stiffened by Kai's sudden confession.

A tear slept in her eye.

I don’t know how to say this to you.

"K-Kai." she started. "I really want to tell this to you but I don't know how and I don't know when is the right time to tell this but... " she sniffed and paused. "I have to leave. Appa and Eomma wants me to study in America." She started to sob. "I love you too Kai but please don't wait for me. I don't know if I'll ever come back." she said.

Kai started to tear up also and she hugged Sohee tightly.

"I understand your decisions. And even if we both don't know when you will come back, I'll still wait for you."

"NO! Don't wait for me anymore. Please forget about me." She pleaded and pulled herself from Kai's grip and ran away outside the house crying.

Kai was left alone.
