Prologue:

It was a dark stormy night, the rain fell in torrents. Dara was sitting in her car waiting for the light to change, her eyes fixed at the trees outside tossing in the frenzied lashing wind, the humming sound rang in her ears and its sound like it was a faint cry of anguish or maybe of pain....

Just like her. 

"Go to hell!!!" 

Her own voice echoed in her ears.

"You first!" 

His voice followed through...

Wave of pain come rushing from her veins, from her toes and fingers, from every single strand of her hair

And all settled in her chest, straight to her heart...

It hurts...

Her tears welled up in her eyes as she tried to focus, her grip on the stirring wheel tightened, as if she wanted to pass her anguish and pain on the object so those feelings will go leave her alone. 

It hurts...

"You're suffocating me..."

She chuckled bitterly. She was there with him the whole time, back to when he has nothing, not even a single penny on his name, she supported him all through out, till then and now that he had fullfilled his dream. 

She was just a simple girl who is happy with the simple things in life before she met him. 

Kwon Jiyong. 

The man who captured her heart.

The one who taught her everything that she has to know in life. 

The person who changed her into someone that she no longer recognize. 

And the reason why her heart is breaking. 

She gave up everything about her for him, because she loves him...but in the end, her love him for him suffocated him. 

It hurts...

"Dara...we're not the only one living here in this world...it's not always about us..."

"Is that why you were cheating behind my back? Is this why you're always with her?"

"What the are you talking about Dara?!!!" 

"Don't lie to me, I saw the way she was coming on to you!" 

"Coming on to me? Here we go again with that bull! Sohee and I are just partners for sake Dara!" 

“I know what I saw Jiyong and she was comin’ on to you.  Why don’t you just tell me the truth?  I watched the way you were looking her.  Is it her ?  Her ?  Her hair? What?” 

“You are blowin’ things way out of proportion Dara.  I can’t believe this.  We have been together for three years and here we are fighting again about some girl you think I’m gettin’ with or gonna get with on the side.” 

“So what are you sayin, you two been hookin’ up behind my back?  Is that what you’re trying to tell me now?  Sounds like the truth is finally coming out of your lying mouth you son of !!!!” 

“What the hell now?  You think that’s what I’m sayin’? 

“Yeah that’s what I’m sayin.”

“Look this is non-sense.  You’re making something out of nothing”

“I’m leaving.  I’m getting the hell outta here”

“Fine, I’m tired of arguing with you.  Just take your and leave.”  

“Fine, fine.  I’ll go and you wont hear from me again.” 

Dara started crying as she recalls everything that had happened. How did they ended up like this? How did a love so great turned out to be a complete disaster? 

Was it her?

Or him? 

How did they ended up hating each other?

The light had finally changed to green.  The blowing horn interrupted her thoughts and she jumped in surprise. Still rattled, she pressed the gas pedal and pulled out to make a left hand turn. 

In the dark stormy night, the rain keeps pouring down from the night sky. 

And as the thunder roars, an ear splitting squealing of the brakes was heard. 

Coming towards her....
