Losing someone you love hurts“AISH!” Kyuhyun grumbles loudly as another game bites the dust. He is having a real challenge trying to break his own record and an innate incapability of admitting defeat makes this all too frustrating for him.
“Lost again?” Jongwoon asks in a bemused tone of voice, a grin plastered on his pale face.
“He doesn’t look well.” Kyuhyun thought to himself.
“Are you feeling alright?” Kyuhyun asks his room-mate who is sitting cross-legged on his own bed doodling.
“Not too bad.” Jongwoon laugh. “And you?”
With that question Kyuhyun realized that he probably does not look too grand either and burst out laughing.
“Touché.” Kyuhyun laugh and Jongwoon joins him without looking up from his writing.
“What are you always busy writing?” Kyuhyun asks curiously.
“You know, this and that.” Jongwoon’s face darkens and he mutters into his chest.
“Your diary?” Kyuhyun’s eyes widen a little with wonder and Jongwoon laugh rather bitterly.
“I prefer to call it my invisible friend.” Jongwoon finally look up, his raven eyes boring into Kyuhyun’s chocolate ones. “I never have a real friend since I was born, so I write down conversations with my invisible friend.”
Kyuhyun’s face reflects the sadness he feels for his new friend. Growing up in a household full of brothers he is never short of confidantes. Although he gets ignored most of the time, he is always able to find one to talk to if he needs to.
Jongwoon is surprised at how silent his room-mate has become and misunderstood that as judging so he lower his head again in embarrassment as he continues to doodle. That’s how he missed Kyuhyun leaving his bed and making his way across to his. He was largely oblivious till he felt arms circling him.
“Wha~?”
He found Kyuhyun’s body pressing into him, smiling. Their faces just inches away from each other.
“From now on, I am your self-appointed confidante. You can tell me anything!” Kyuhyun announces.
“Erm, I don’t think so….” Jongwoon mutters, his cheeks burning as he felt Kyuhyun’s arms brushing against his chest.
