Love On Top

“Oh I’m curious yeaaaaaaaah!” SHINee sung the last sentence of their song before the lights dimmed.

They were in Singapore for the SM concert and unfortunately, it was raining.

But the show must go on, and it did.

The guys headed towards the stairs to go underground to the pathway below the stage when ‘The Boys’ intro started playing.

“Geobi naseo shijakjocha anhae bwaht-damyeon keudaen tudeoldaeji mara jom GG” So Nyuh Shi Dae started singing.

 

Minho couldn’t help but worry.

He had clearly told Yuri to stay at home and rest but like the stubborn Yuri she was, she didn’t and went on performing anyways.

Minho watched them perform through the screen backstage with a towel and water bottle ready, just like those guys you see who come into the stage during the break session of a boxing match.

“B-bring the boys out!” The girls ended.

Minho waited impatiently backstage.

Once he spotted his SNSD noona he rushed over to Yuri and quickly wrapped a towel around her and used the other to dry her hair.

“Aigooooooooo…” the other SNSD girls teased at the scene of the two.

Yuri couldn’t help but blush while Minho completely ignored them and started drying Yuri out. Soon the girls had left leaving Yuri and Minho alone.

The only performance they had left was their closing song.

 

Minho has been doing the same routine everytime SNSD performed tonight.

He was extra worried since Yuri has had a slight fever last night.

“Here, drink water.” Minho handed it to her.

“Aigo, Minho yah. I’m not paralyzed. Don’t worry about me.” Yuri giggled.

But once again, Minho completely ignored her and felt her forehead.

“Aish! See Yul! You’re warmer than you were before you started performing! Why don’t you ever listen to me?!” Minho scolded her with worried eyes.

Yuri just smiled innocently but she couldn’t help but feel happy about her overprotective boyfriend.

They both had to break apart to change into their closing song costumes.

 

During their performance of ‘Hope’, Minho found it extra agonizing, not only to hide his feelings and watch the love of his life socialize with other boys on stage, but this time, he could see Yuri tiring herself out. He would keep a close eye on her and maintain a near distance so he could protect her as if someone was going to kidnap her right there and then.

 

Right after their successful concert, they all headed towards their hotel.

“Dinner in 15 minutes!” Their president announced before they headed to their rooms.

“NE!” they answered firmly and entered the elevator.

Minho and Yuri kept a straight face as there were fans in the lobby watching them.

And even in the escalator, there were cameras.

They pretended to not know about each other’s presence.

SNSD and SHINee’s rooms were on the 15^th floor while SJ and f(x) were on the 16^th.

 

Yoona and Yuri entered the room that they shared first.

Minho wanted to check on Yuri so bad but he’ll wait until they’re at the private restaurant that their president arranged before actually being themselves.

 

It’s been 20 minutes and everyone was at the private restaurant inside the hotel.

“Where’s Yuri?” Minho asked Yoona impatiently.

“She said she had to use the toilet and she’ll come down soon. Stop worrying will you?!” Yoona laughed.

“Arasso.” Minho bit his bottom lip and waited for a few more minutes when the door opened.

It was Yuri. “I’m sorry I’m late.” She bowed politely to their CEO before taking her seat next to Minho.

 

After a wonderful dinner, loud music started playing.

It was party time!

The lights were dimmed and everyone was on the dance floor.

Eunhyuk and Hyoyeon were pop dancing like the dancing machines they were and Yoona and Sooyoung were doing kkab dance but they both looked at Yuri, tell her to join them.

Yuri was about to stand up but Minho stopped her.

“Bwoh?” she asked surprised.

“Andwae, you’re sick.”

“Aish! I’m fine. I promise!” Yuri showed him her aegyo.

“Aniyo.” He kept his ground.

Yuri groaned but stayed seated with him anyways.

 

They ended up laughing at everyone’s dancing, especially since most of them were drunk.

But it wasn’t long until Minho’s laugh started to weaken and Yuri noticed.

“Gwanchani?” she asked worriedly.

“Ne. I’m just tired.” Minho gave a fake smile but Yuri saw right through that.

Instead she flung her hands to his forehead.

“AIGO! You’re the one who’s sick. C’mon, let’s go back up and rest.” Yuri offered and Minho agreed. Besides, the loud tremble of the bass was making his head hurt even more. It was so unexpected though. He was fine just a couple of minutes ago.

 

Soon they were at Minho’s hotel room which he shared with Taemin.

Yuri led him to the bed and laid him down. Then she removed his shoes so he would feel more comfortable.

“Wait here, I’ll make you something hot to drink.” Yuri looked at him with worried eyes before heading to the mini kitchen.

When she got back with tea she saw Minho shivering and groaning in bed.

His eyes were shut but his lips were trembling.

“Aigo!” Yuri started to panic.

She grabbed Taemin’s blanket and wrapped it above Minho’s for extra warmth.

“I’ll go get pain relievers downstairs. It’ll only take 5 minutes.” She spoke out, not sure if he could hear her or not.

 

“Oh Yuri ah, where were you and Minho?” Onew asked when she saw Yuri in the reception area.

“Minho’s sick.” Was all Yuri said before asking the receptionist where she could get pain relievers.

“Aish, that kid! I already told him that you’ll be alright.” Onew shook her head.

“Huh?” Yuri faced her while waiting,

“After he performs he would be all sweaty and panting, you know, the usual. But this time he doesn’t even drink the water or wipe his sweat and it was pretty could outside. Then to top it all off it started raining. He gives you all his water and towels the moment you stepped down from the stage. That guy really doesn’t know his boundaries.” Onew shook his head. “I’ll go check on him.”

“Andwae. Gwanchana. I’ll do it. You can go have fun.” Yuri smiled at him.

Onew just nodded and left knowing that Yuri would take good care of him.

 

Yuri couldn’t help but have butterflies in her stomach.

She has finally found someone who cares about her more than she cares for herself.

The feeling she felt was indescribable and all she could do was smile like an idiot.

 

Yuri went back with the pain killers.

“Aigo. Why are you so stubborn? Didn’t I tell you I was ok?” she whispered to herself as she got him a glass of water.

“Minho…” she whispered.

He groaned and slowly opened his eyes.

“Drink medicine first.” She offered him the tablet and drink.

Minho smiled weakly and laid back down.

Yuri was just about to leave when he held her wrist.

“Stay here with me. Just for the night.” Minho moaned.

Yuri couldn’t help but feel guilty since this was all her fault.

“Arasso.” She smiled and got in bed with him.

Minho wrapped his arms around her waist and they were now face to face.

The only light in the room was from the dimmed table lamp.

Minho kept his eyes close and just inhaled her perfume.

Soon she fell asleep with her face buried on his chest.

Minho couldn’t help but smile. “It was worth it.”

I’m sorry about the past few one shots I have posted.

They were just supposed to be drafts but I had no choice but to post the, including this one.

So I couldn’t really add on more emotions to it and more description as I didn’t have time.

However, I will be back to writing REQUESTED ONE SHOTS tomorrow so please look forward to that.
