“Sica, she might be at the cafeteria right now” Taeyeon tells Jessica through her earpiece. After hearing Jessica tell Tiffany about the information that she just received, Taeyeon looks at Hyomin through her front mirrors.

She sees the latter still busying herself with fixing her hair. “Are you nervous?” The sudden question startled Hyomin a bit; she turns to look at Taeyeon. “Just a bit” She says before resuming to fix her hair.

Taeyeon lets out a small chuckle seeing the latter look so serious with the things she is doing. “Just a bit? Then why do you keep fixing your hair? It looks good already”

Hyomin had a big frown plastered on her face. “It’s not good enough” Hearing that, Taeyeon turns her body over, facing Hyomin and gives a good stare at the latter’s hair. “It’s fine” Hyomin stops fixing her hair for a moment and looks directly at Taeyeon. “But it’s not the same as yesterday’s. Jessica unnie did it so much better”

Taeyeon lets out a big laugh before facing back to the front. “I said it’s fine, plus, your hair isn’t all that important”

Hyomin gives up on her hair and slumps back onto her seat. “Yeah, you’re right”

A couple of minutes have passed and during those minutes, no one uttered a single word. Taeyeon was watching students pass by them, while Hyomin was looking out the window, looking at anything that she found interesting.

“Taeyeon”

Upon hearing her name being called, she turns to look at the latter through her front mirrors. “Yes Hyomin?”

“Do you think Sunny will like me back?” Taeyeon chuckles upon hearing the question, she thought it was something serious. “Of course!” She says happily. “I’m definitely sure that she’ll fall for you! I know I almost did” Taeyeon mumbles that last part.

“What?” Hyomin raises an eyebrow at the latter. “I couldn’t hear the last part” Taeyeon laughs nervously; she was afraid of getting caught, so she changes the topic.

“Hyomin!” Taeyeon suddenly calls her, which startles the latter. “Let’s go?” Taeyeon opens her car doors and gets out. Following her, Hyomin takes a deep breath before getting out the car.

The two were walking side by side in the hallways. Taeyeon notices the stares coming from the students in the area. She smiles at them and in return she receives squeals here and there.

Hyomin on the other hand, felt uncomfortable at the attention. All her life, she has never received such attention. Well, except for being bullied.

She could hear people talking about them. About Taeyeon. About… her.

“Woah, who are those two? They’re hot”

“The taller girl is just my type! What’s her name?”

“Are they new students?”

“Oh how I wish I was just like them”

Seeing how Hyomin was being distracted, Taeyeon coughs a few times to get the latter’s attention. After successfully gaining the latter’s attention, Taeyeon pulls her hand and walks out the hallways and into the main entrance of the cafeteria.

“You looked a little uncomfortable there, so I tried to get you out of the hallways” Taeyeon says as she looks around the area of the cafeteria.

Hyomin nods and says her thanks before she too, looks around the area. “Thanks Taeyeon”

Taeyeon couldn’t help but notice some eyes on them; she lets out a small chuckle before turning to Hyomin. “Well, I think you got some here too”

Taeyeon continues to stare at Hyomin; she notices the latter staring intently at something, so she turns to see what it is. “Isn’t that, Sunny?” Taeyeon turns back to Hyomin, only to find the latter running off to somewhere. “Hyo-Hyomin? Where are you going?” Taeyeon was about to follow the latter, but stops as soon as she hears a loud commotion coming from a table not far from her.

“Where did she go?!”

“I don’t know, I was looking at you and that dude”

A loud smack was heard, gaining the attention of the whole cafeteria. Taeyeon hurriedly makes her way to the scene.

“You fool!”

Taeyeon smiles as she sees her two subordinates bickering towards each other. Wanting to make a surprise appearance, she quietly made her way towards the blonde and lightly taps her shoulder. She was expecting a nice greeting, such as ‘hello’ or ‘taengoo’, but instead she receives…

“I said GOOD BYE! NOW LEAVE ME…”

On the other side of the school…

Hyomin is walking as fast as she could to where ever her feet brought her to. She stops in front of the usual bench that she would sit at, which was located near the huge water fountain next to the Hanyang Library.

She places her hands onto the bench, remembering how she would always sit here to read. But after meeting Sunny, she never sat here to read; instead she sits here to secretly watch the latter that would always take her peaceful naps under the big oak tree just a few feet from her.   

Hyomin looks around the area and immediately had a smile plastered onto her face as she spots the short blonde lying under the tree.

Not wanting to waste time, she makes her way there. Every step she took towards the blonde, her heart starts beating faster and faster. She gulps as she finally approached the sleeping latter; not wanting to wake the latter up, she crouches down onto the grass area and watches the shortie sleep.

She closely examines Sunny’s face. From the eyes, to the nose, then to the lips. Oh how she wanted to have those lips on hers. She clears before moving closer to the blonde, but soon moved back as she sees a pair of eyes fluttered open and on her.

Sunny, who was taking a peaceful nap under the same tree that she would, suddenly felt another presence and so she opens her eyes to look at who it was, but was startled to see the person so close to her.

“W-Who are you?” Sunny says as she backs away from the latter.

Seeing how scared the blonde is, Hyomin tries to approach Sunny, but unfortunately the latter keeps moving back. “W-What do you want?”

Sunny was confused about the person in front of her. She didn’t understand what the person wanted from her. Sure, she was pretty. I mean… really pretty, but Sunny didn’t care right now, she just wants to know who was this person and what did they want from her.

“I-Ive been w-watching you for quite a long time n-now… over there at that b-bench” Hyomin points at the bench a few feet from where they were at. Sunny looks over and her eyebrows are scrunch together. She turns back to the stranger “You’ve been watching me from the bench? But no one sits there, no one besides…” Sunny’s eyes widen when she realizes something.

She moves closer to the stranger and examines her face more clearly. “H-Hyomin?”

Upon hearing the latter call her name, Hyomin shyly nods her head. She’s so happy that Sunny could finally recognize her.

“What happened? You’ve gotten more… beautiful” The words that Hyomin wanted to hear most was finally said by the person she loves. Her heart beated fast, she felt hot. She felt as if she can die happily now, but she knows it’s not possible yet, not until she confesses.

Seeing how Sunny was gawking at her appearance, she took this chance to say the words that she’s been rehearsing with Jessica the other day.

Hyomin took a deep breath before speaking. “S-Sunny”

Sunny immediately looks into the latter’s eyes, anticipating to what she wanted to tell her. “Yes Hyomin?”

“I like you”

There, she has said it. Those three words that she wanted to tell the blonde shorty, she has told her. All she can do now is close her eyes and anticipate what the answer will be. Will she get rejected? Will Sunny like her back? She doesn’t know, which causes her to be more nervous than she already is.

Expecting either a rejection or an acceptance, she opens her eyes only to find the person she has confessed to… laughing.

Sunny couldn’t help but burst into laughter the moment that Hyomin confessed to her. She admit, she was surprised, but that wasn’t the reason why she was laughing. She looks towards Hyomin and could see the confusion written all over the latters face. Sunny calms down and smiles at Hyomin. “Sorry, I couldn’t help but laugh. All this time I thought you didn’t like me” Sunny says which causes the latter to look at her even more confused.

“Every time we make eye contact, you always look away. You never approached me. You would always come sit at that bench over there and concentrate on your book”

Sunny says in between giggles.

Hyomin quickly got up and tries to explain herself. “N-No! Every time we make eye contact, there’s always butterflies in my stomach. I didn’t approach you because there were people around you. I didn’t want them to think you befriended a loser like me” Hyomin looks down with a sad smile. “And I… I don’t sit at that bench just to read my book… I sat there” She takes her eyes off the ground and looks directly into the blonde’s eyes. “I sat there because I wanted to see you”

“Nado”

Hyomin looks at Sunny confusingly. She takes Hyomin hands into hers and smiles at the latter. “I didn’t just come here to take a nap, I came here because you were always sitting there reading your book”

“D-Does that mean?”

“Yeah, I like you too. I always did”

Phew. Mission Hyomin was way longer than what I expected o_o ! LOL I hoped you like the side story.

Next, I'll have TaeNySic go on their little date. Ha ha, wait for that!

Ah! Yes, Yes. I have heard " Amor Mio " I really love it, especially after finding out that Lee Hyori herself wrote it. ^__^ ㅋㅋㅋ
