A nine-tailed fox is being hunted down by a group of humans, causing him to run away from his forest for his own safety. Being the most powerful god of Korea, he has to stay alive in order to keep the area safe. While running for his life, the heavenly fox bumps into Jonghyun while in his human form. Jonghyun, a human, has the purest heart he has ever seen in all of his thousands of years of life.

Kibum

Human Form

Natural Form

Kibum is a nine-tailed fox, the god of Korea, the protector of all nature. His icy blue eyes are full of innocence and curiosity. Though his human form looks young, he is a wise, old being. He is on the run from a groups of Hunters who are trying to harness his powers. If he is caught, Korea will be overtaken by an evil force that will corrupt the hearts of humans and animals alike.

He must stay safe, no matter what.

Jonghyun

Jonghyun is a young photographer who ran away from home when he was younger in order to make his own living. He stumbles across Kibum in a park nearby his apartment while out for a walk with his dog, Roo. Seeing the beauty, his heart immediately skips a beat and he feels a strong, unknown attraction to him. His big eyes are always eager and gentle, making him resemble a puppy. He helps Kibum by letting him stay at his place while he's on the run.

He has no idea what he's gotten himself into.

Wind

Nymph Form

Wind is one of Kibum's loyal followers and Guardians. Her home resides in the clouds in the sky. She is the only one of the four Guardians that can follow Kibum anywhere. For this reason, she is the most loyal follower. She is easily suspicious and she always tries to keep a handle on things; sometimes a little too much of a handle. Her best friend is Water, her fellow Guardian.

She must find a way to keep Kibum out of danger.

Water

Nymph Form

Water is one of Kibum's loyal followers and Guardians. Her home resides in the lake of the park in which Jonghyun and Kibum met for the first time. She is easygoing and caring when it comes to her master but if need be, she is vicious and sharp. She reprimands Wind when she is being too protective or worrisome. She manipulates water and she can transport from the lake to any body of water, big or small.

She must protect Kibum at all costs.

Earth

Nymph Form

Earth is one of Kibum's loyal followers and Guardians. He lives in the ground, cradling Water who is like a sister to him. He is shy and sometimes a scaredy cat, but when the time calls for it, he can lash out and use his brute power to protect those he cares about. He has a crush on Wind, which Water along with his best friend, Fire, teases him about constantly. He can take the form of any solid material that originally came from the ground.

He must protect those he loves.
