Junhong stands in front of the mirror in his room, biting his lip as he fidgets with the hem on his shirt, tugging it down and pulling it back up in order to try and make it look perfect.

"Aish," he mutters, pulling off his shirt and tossing it behind him onto his bed, where seven other shirts already reside. He ruffles his hair angrily (messing up a good hour of work in the process) and sighs heavily.

Why is it that he only gets like this when he's facing you?

He's performed in front of countless people, embarrassed himself on national television, and endured living with Kim Himchan, of all people—yet he can't find the courage to stand in front of you and tell you his feelings.

"Junhong-ah."

Junhong whips his head towards the door of the room, finding Himchan standing there, an amused smirk on his lips.

"Trying to impress someone?" the elder says, his eyes flicking knowingly from the pile on the bed to the shirtless boy, and Junhong sighs.

"I don't know what to do, hyung."

Himchan huffs, stomping straight to Junhong's closet and pulling out some things.

"Put these on, and hurry up. I'll drive you."

Junhong puts on the clothes wordlessly, knowing that it's better not to argue with Himchan, especially since the elder has at least a little more experience than he does. He picks up the letter and wrapped gift that he'd prepared from his bedside, and follows Himchan outside.

They get into their manager's car silently, and Himchan fiddles with the radio as he drives to the park where Junhong had asked you to meet him.

"Hyung," he says, running his fingers along the edge of the envelope, "what if she says no?"

Himchan side-eyes a glare at him.

"She won't."

When they arrive at the park, Himchan all but kicks Junhong out of the car, with an embarrassingly loud yell of "MAKE HYUNG PROUD!" left as a parting gesture before the visual zooms off to go buy some coffee.

Junhong makes his way inside the park, and he spots you sitting on a bench.

"This seat taken?" he jokes, sliding down next to you, and you laugh, shaking your head.

"It is now," you reply. "Is there something you needed to tell me?"

Junhong opens his mouth to speak, but he suddenly finds that all the words he wanted to say are gone and he makes a strange gasping sound, pushing the letter and gift towards you.

"Junhong," you murmur, turning over the letter in your hands and opening the flap of the envelope, "do you like me?"

"Y-yes," he stammers, his cheeks flushing pink. "I do. I've always been bad with words, but I hope you can understand my feelings for you."

You blush, your hand reaching out to rest on top of his.

"I like you too."
