Two MoonsSiyeon was incredibly bewildered as she noticed in who she just ran into. Baekhyun picked the book up rather angrily and let out a growl as Siyeon tried to help him. She could feel the gazes of his friends, Sehun and the others, on her. “I'm sorry,” she muttered and stepped back. Somehow, their presence made her nervous. Siyeon had Sehun and his friends from afar before but never this up-close and she could feel a strange power coming from them.
The way they stared at her was rather uncomfortable and Siyeon felt strangely lost. “Geez, it isn't like you have eyes or something like that,” Baekhyun growled and the way he said those words let Siyeon feel quite offended. “It seems like she likes to bump into people,” Sehun muttered. His eyes mustered her closely, before he looked away. “Hey!” the very tall one suddenly called out.
Chanyeol, that was his name, if Siyeon remembered right. “Did you just caught that thief?” he asked and Siyeon nodded, dumbfounded by his bright and cheerful character. “Wow, that was amazing! I thought you weren't even that good!” Baekhyun scowled and rolled his eyes. “It wasn't even that amazing. Nothing we could have done as well.” Ignoring Baekhyun's words, Kai shove him aside, a huge grin on his face. “Forgive the words of that insensible prick. I'm Kai, nice to meet you.”
Siyeon was hesitant to shake his hand and just in the moment she wanted to, someone grabbed her by her shoulder. “Siyeon! You can't just disappear like that!” Hikari called out. She immediately went silent as she noticed who stood right next to her. Ara, Maél and Kato joined Ara. “What do you have to do with them?” Ara asked while she narrowed her eyes at Sehun and the others. “Nothing, I bumped into them, accidentally,” was Siyeon's immediate response and Ara nodded.
“You excuse us. We don't want to stop you, wherever you wanted to go.” Maél said carefully, while he grabbed Siyeon's arm and pulled her away softly. “She looked at us like we are some kind of monsters,” Chanyeol said with a frown and Kai suddenly laughed out loud. “I guess she was pretty much shocked to see us.” He was highly amused by this situation, even though he knew that the others couldn't understand why he was so amused. “Ah! Wasn't she the one you mentioned? The one who bumped into you... eh twice already?”
Kyungsoo spoke to Sehun, who shrugged his shoulders. “I guess so. Doesn't matter to me.” For a moment, Kyungsoo stared at Sehun before he let out a long, long, very long sigh. “You guys never will get married if you keep this attitude up regarding girls.” Kai mock-punched his friend, before he pulled his hair lightly. “Who said that we ever want to get married, besides you, Kyungsoo?”

“What the hell do you have to do with those guys?” Hikari asked the same question and Siyeon gave the same answer. “Hell, don't ever get involved with them! Fangirling over them is one thing but really hanging out with them... no!” There was a slightly hysterically undertone. “I barely talked to them and bumped into them accidentally. What is wrong? It's not like they are some kind of murderers, are they?”
As no one answered, Siyeon's eyes widened immediately. “Don't be kidding, they are murderers?!” she called out but Kato quickly covered . “No, of course not. It's only that... well, how should I put it. The people respect them very much, or rather their families.” There was a drop in Kato's voice, and Siyeon wasn't quite sure if it was because of fear or out of respect. “I don't get this,” Siyeon said truthfully and shook his head. She knew that there would be more explanations and she wasn't sure if she could handle the new flood of information.
She had to wait until they sat down in small restaurant, where they served Shabu Shabu. No one would interrupt them and they were on their own. “Our society,” Maél started as the first, “is quite hierarchic. We have a council, which decides rules and stuff. You can imagine that these council consist of the hea
