Two MoonsWhile heading back to class, Siyeon tried not to think about Mr. Zhang's explanations too much but she couldn't help it. She was not human? How was that even possible? And another civilization? That sounded more ridiculous than everything she ever had heard in her life. But... it was true, even though she didn't want to believe it. Those Mageíya were probably everywhere and Siyeon bet that some of them were even politicians, considering how much money the school alone had. Suddenly she remembered what Hikari had told her once about Sehun and his friends. Their parents all had high ranked jobs, and Siyeon was sure that they weren't the only one.
A sigh came over her lips and Siyeon slowed down her steps. Suddenly, she had the urge to run away. To run far away from all this. The feeling was so overwhelming that Siyeon really did turn around and simply started to walk into a different direction. She didn't know where her feet took her but she simply wanted to run. Just running would be fine. Anywhere but not back to that classroom. Like she would care what the students would think about her, but her mind didn't function at all. Everything inside her screamed to her to run away and she did.
Right, left, straight. Siyeon lost sight were she actually was, the doors passing her in lightning speed, at least it seemed to be like that in her mind. “Watch your way!” Someone called out, as Siyeon bumped right into him. Even though the words were familiar to her, the person who just had spoken was not. He was shorter than Sehun, but nevertheless they somehow seemed similar to each other. Baekhyun's book fell to the ground and he lout an exasperated but angry sounding sigh. “Thanks a lot,” he said ironically as he bent forward to pick the book up. “Sorry,” Siyeon muttered confused.
She hasn't quite realized that she had bumped into him. Her whole mind was still in a mess and in a daze but her desire to run away had disappeared. Now, she felt utterly lost and even more confused. “What are you doing here, this is not the way back to the class.” Baekhyun's voice sounded cold and rather uninterested, his eyes went back to focus on the book. “I- I don't know,” Siyeon whispered. If she had to be honest, she didn't know what to do anymore.
“You should go back to class.” Baekhyun walked past her, and it was clear to her that he wouldn't wait for her. Why would he anyways?
If she would go now, she probably would get expelled, but something inside her told her not to go. A moment of hesitation but not because she actually thought about it. She couldn't even think at all, but then she turned around and followed him. Followed him back to class, where Mr. Zhang already waited for her. “Mr. Byun, where have you been?” he asked with
