"Krystal, can I borrow a pencil?"

"You don't need a pencil."

"Yes I do."

"Why you need a pencil for, huh? Huh?"

"To do my homework."

"You do your homework? Since when, huh? Huh?"

"Just give me a pencil please!"

Krystal reached into her blue, worn out backpack and took out a blue pencil holder. She opened the bag and took out a new yellow, #2, unsharpened pencil. She set her thumbs in the middle and broke it in half.

"Hey what'd you do that for?"

"For getting me fired." Krystal said without looking up from the book she was reading. Minho sharpened the pencil and started on his homework.

"Ok, I admit I was stupid, I-"

"YOU STILL ARE STUPID."

"I'm trying to be nice to you. So, shut up. I'm sorry for getting you fired. Whatever I did was unintentional. I thought it'd be funny."

"Wow. That's the nicest thing you have ever said."

"Well, I'm a nice person."

"Yeah, ok, sure."

Krystal stood up and raised her arms and stretched them out as much as she could.

"Hey, if you really are nice, go pick up Soojin."

"Fine. Pass me my car keys, yeah?"

"Walk and pick her up."

"Will you forgive me?"

"If you do this for a month."

"2 weeks."

"3 weeks."

"3!"

"2 weeks and 6 days."

"Ok."

"Now go. Shoo." Krystal said waving her hand.

Minho walked out the door and walked to his parent's house. On the way there, he started texting Jonghyun.

Hey. She is so pissed off at me.....

"Who? Mommy dearest?"

"Yah. Shut up. I got Krystal fired and now she's so pissed off."

"How bad is it?"

"I have to walk to my parent's house and pick up her daughter."

"ok. That . I know you like her~"

"No I do not."

"Then why you doing this then? The Minho I know doesn't listen~~ :P"

"I gotta go! I DO NOT LIKE HER!"

Minho put his finger on the round golden-bordered doorbell. It rang and Nichkhun opened the door.

"Annyeong Appa~"

"Annyeong Minho. What are you doing here?"

"I'm here to pick up Soojin."

"Why?"

Minho didn't want his parents to know he got his future wife fired.

"Umm....because I'm being nice?"

"Alright." Nichkhun turned around. "Soojin come here." Soojin ran towards Nichkhun and Nichkhun held her hand and handed her to Minho.

"Bye bye~" cooed Soojin.

"HOLD HER HAND!" Nichkhun shouted with his hands around his mouth.

Soojin skipped through the sidewalks and tried to avoid every crack.

"Wait." she said.

"Why?"

"Because I don't want to step on a crack."

"Why?"

"Because I don't wanna break mommy's back."

Minho chuckled and picked Soojin up and carried her home. Minho put the key through the key hole and turned it right and turned it up. He twisted te door knob and opened the door.

"Hi Soojin!"

"Hi mommy."

"Time for dinner." Krystal said.

They ate their rice with chicken and threw their paper plates away.

It was about 8:30 and Krystal told Soojin to get to sleep.

Minho walked down the stairs and jumped in the massage chair. He pushed a yellow square button and laid back.

"That feels awesome~" he said.

Krystal came down the stairs and sat on the couch.

"So, do you have any summer plans....?" Minho asked awkwardly.

"Do you really care?" Krystal responded.

"I'm just trying to break the awkwardness. I don't know about you, but I think I'm going to Hawaii."

"That's super."Krystal said sarcastically. She pressed the orange button and stopped the massage chair.

"Well, good night~" Minho said.

"Good night."

Krystal sat there reading an English book. She opened and yawned. She covered with her hand. He eyes started to blink slowly and then they closed. She laid on the couch sleeping.

It was about 2 am and Minho came down for a drink of water and saw Krystal sleeping on the couch. He went upstairs and got a spare blanket. He put the pale blue blanket over her and tucked her in. He patted her head like he would to a little girl. Then he went back upstairs and slept.
