"Minho!" Krystal took his arm and shook it.

He rubbed his eye with his right hand.

"WHAT?" he said irritated.

"Well, trashcan's full. So rock paper scissors."

"FINE."

"Rock paper scissors." they said in unison. They shook their fists in the air. Krystal won.

1 Krystal. 0 Minho.

"Rock paper scissors." they said in unison again. Minho won.

1 Krystal. 1 Minho.

"Get ready to take the trash out." Minho said cockily.

"Rock paper scissors." they shook their fists in the air up and down. Guess who won? Krystal.

2 Krystal. 1 Minho.

"UGH!" he grabbed his blanket with his arm and flung it to the side. He got up and went to the kitchen. He took the string of the drawstring trash bag and pulled it.

He picked it up and tied the string into a knot. He threw it over his back and walked out.

"You look like a hobo." Krystal snickered.

"Shut up."

He threw the trash out and came back into the condo. He quickly went back to his room and jumped onto his bed and slept.

~later~

Ring ring ring.

The phone rang.

Krystal picked it up and pressed the talk button.

"Yeoboseyo?"

"Annyeong Krystal!" It was Victoria.

"Hi.....umm...what should I call you?"

"Just call me Victoria."

"O...k. So Victoria why'd you call me?"

"Well, I was thinking maybe we should go shopping? To bond? Your aunt said she could watch Soojin."

"Sure. When?"

"Right now."

"Ok."

"See you later. Bye."

"Bye."

They both hung up.

About 10 minutes later, the door bell rang.

Minho got up and went to go get it. He opened the door with an astonishing face.

"What are you doing here mom?"

"I came to pick Krystal up."

"F-for WHAT?" he stuttered.

"I'm taking her out."

"KRYSTAL!" Minho called.

"Coming!" she came down the stairs holding Soojin.

"Let's go." Victoria said.

"Wait. Do you have a car seat in your car?"

"Shoot. I don't. Doesn't Minho have one?"

"I don't wanna get it......" Minho said.

"Give me your car keys I'll get them....." Victoria said.

"It's on the back of the door on the hook."

Victoria walked over and got them. She clicked the unlock button and opened Minho's car door. She unbuckled the car seat and took it out. She went to her car and put it in there.

She went back into the house.

"All set. Let's go."

"Ok." Krystal said.

She picked Soojin up and put her in the cars seat. Krystal climbed in next to her and Victoria drove them to her house.

~at the mall~

"So what store would you like to go to?" Victoria asked.

"Well, I'm not so sure.....this is like my third time at the mall."

"Really?"

"Yeah."

"Well, come with me I'll get you some really cute things."

"Thank you."

They walked over to a shoe store.

There were wedges, heels, sneakers, boots, strap sandals, and flats.

Victoria picked out a pair of red strapped wedges with white polka dots. (I saw my teacher wearing this! It was so cute!!!!)

"Why don't you try this on?"

"Sure." Krystal took off her tattered grey flip flops and put the shoes on. 

She stood up.

"You look great in them. Very tall. Like a model." Victoria complimented.

"How much are they?"

"Take one off."

Krystal took one of her wedges off. Victoria picked it up and looked on the bottom. There was a small sticker that said $29.99.

"Umm....it's $29.99."

"Oh. I could never tell you to buy these."

"Oh wait I must've read it wrong. They're $10.99."

"Are you sure?" Krystal lifted up one of her wedges. She couldn't see it.

"YES." Victoria laughed awkwardly.

"Try these on." She handed her purple boots a bit over her shin.

Krystal took off her wedges and put the boots on.

"Everything looks good on you. I'm gonna grab smething and I'm gonna ring this up."

After shoe shopping, they went to a clothes shop. Victoria bought a pair of black heels and yellow flats with bows on them.

Victoria bought Krystal a dress, tights, jeans, shorts, and some tops.

"Thank you for today."

"Your welcome."

Victoria drove Krystal home.

"I'M HOME!" Krystal yelled.

"OK! God.....shattered my flippin eardrums."

About an hour after, the door bell rang.

A man with a tie and jacket came up.

"Are you Krystal Jung?"

"Yes."

"I'm an agent that helped your parents set up the life insurance. And, this is a letter. And two checks."

"For what?"

"This is your parents' will. It never got to you because you were in a mobile home? I suppose?"

Krystal nodded. The man handed her a big yellow envelope.

"This will explain everything." he shook her hand and gave her his card.

Krystal closed the door and opened the envelope. She took out the smaller envelope inside it. She tore it open and couldn't believe her eyes.

Two checks for $250,00 each.

"Mommy are you rich?"

"Not sure, hun."

She took out the statement.

Dear Ms. Jung,            
               These checks are due to your parents' death. They left you money in their will before they died. You will inherit this money when you turn 18. The reason you're getting this 9 years later is because you've moved frequently and we have not yet gotten in touch with you lately. Your parents left you this money before they died and want you to use it wisely. We apologize for the inconvenient delay. It was unfortunate. You may deposit this but will not be able to access until you are 18.

Krystal had a confused look on her face. Suddenly she heard laughing. Minho.

"What the heck is this?" He was holding a piece of old paper.

"T-that's my um...." Krystal sniffled.
