Shinhye was sitting under a tree in the courtyard at school. She watched some of the younger boys laughing and playing football, she watched some of the younger girls giggling and gossiping. Shinhye sighed, she wished she was back to that age, the age when she had been the most happy before Yonghwa had went. She had no worries then, she had thought the world was perfect and that love was beautiful, oh how wrong she had been. 

Shinhye picked up a book, it was a romance book. 

The author had obviously never been in love before. She had been reading it for guidance but it hadn't helped her much. It didn't show how you could love someone without hurting others who were also close to you. 

"Remember when we used to be like that," a voice said and Shinhye turned around to see Yonghwa leaning against the tree behind her. He pointed to a couple sweetly smiling at each other and feeding each other grapes. 

"Shouldn't you be with Seohyun?" Shinhye asked turning back to the front. She watched other kids walking around some of them in groups and some by themselves. 

"She's mad at me," Yonghwa said. 

"Well she would be, I would be too if I was your girlfriend," Shinhye replied. 

She heard a shuffling behind her and saw Yonghwa sit next to her from the corner of her eye. 

"Well why don't you be my girlfriend?" Yonghwa asked hopefully. 

"I said if, I'm not," Shinhye shuffled away from Yonghwa.
