“Are you ready?”

“Yeah, sure.” I answered Sungyeol.

After eating breakfast together, we decided to go to the café already. I asked him what mode of transportation we’ll use to go there. He told me we’ll use bike. So I then thought that we’ll use a couple bike. Or I’d sit in front of him while he pedals. That thought is so sweet.

To my dismay, and I don’t know why I am dismayed, a scooter sat in front of the Byun’s house.

Scooter.

I didn’t know it’s called bike nowadays.

“Yours?” I asked pointing to the scooter.

“Mm-hmm. Here,” Sungyeol handed me a helmet. A pink one. I hate pink. But when I saw that our helmet looks like a couple helmet, I felt elated. His is blue.

I sat behind him.

“Hold tight,” he instructed me. I held the helms of his shirt not wanting any skinship. I don’t want him to think I’m too easy.

But you’re friends Jaein, why afraid of hugging him?

I’m not afraid!

This is ridiculous. I’m talking to myself.

“Aaahh! Careful! Sungyeol!!” I cried out.

“Hold tighter!” he told me.

“I’m holding tighter!”

We passed by the road where pebbles filled the road. It was a bumpy ride here and I am afraid that I might fall any moment.

“Oompf!” A giant stone made me hug Sungyeol’s back. “Sorry,” I muttered.

“Why say sorry?” Sungyeol asked looking oblivious.

“Nothing.”

He chuckled. “You don’t say sorry when you hadn’t done anything wrong, okay?” He made an okay sign with his left hand.

I made an okay sign too. “Be careful now. Both hands in front!”

“Yes ma’am!”

We passed now by the road where the sea is on the left view.

“Daebak,” I murmured.

Hearing this, Sungyeol asked me if I had toured Jeju already.

“Ani, I haven’t.”

“But you should!”

“But we’re busy!” I laughed at his expression.

“We’ll think of a way. Do you want me to tour you?”

Jeju tour with Sungyeol?

“Hmm.. I think that’s a good idea,” I told him.

“It really is,” he said.

Moments later we arrived at the café. Many people were buzzing in and out of it.

“Woah, why are there so many people?” Sungyeol asked as we rode off the scooter.

My mind’s for the next scooter ride though so I just shrugged.
