Aiden stared at the knife. "Look at what you did."

Krystal is frozen. Her expression is full of panic. She just stabbed him. He's going to die from loss of blood. He needs a doctor! And she'll be charged with assault. But he charged her. She takes a step back. "I... I..."

He sighs. "You're lucky I am not human." Inside he was going crazy. SHE JUST STABBED HIM. He was lucky to be a vampire, else he would be dying from a loss of blood. Plus he felt the blade pierce multiple organs. He wouldn't admit it, but he was a little scared as well. He's never had such a serious injury. Being from such a priviledged family kept him safe from all harm, physically and emotionally.

His hand grasps the knife handle and takes a deep breath. Make it look cool like how main characters do it in movies. He winces because the knife pierced his lung. Blood would soon fill it if he doesn't take it out quickly. He composes himself and bites his lip. He needs to make it look like it doesn't hurt, else Krystal will blame herself. She shouldn't, because he was the one who changed. Aiden pulls out the knife quickly and attempts to keep a unaffected expression. It doesn't work.

"Gahhh!" He gasps and tosses the knife across the room. The blade lodges an inch deep into the wall. He looks at Krystal who flinched at his voice. His voices lowers to a whisper. "That didn't hurt." She wasn't convinced.

He looks down at his chest. The stab was slowly closing. He felt the tingling sensation of the skin covering the hole. That healing ability drained him of his energy. He felt a little wobbily and quickly walked to the wall. He placed his hand on the wall and took another deep breath. The world was spinning. He attempted to remain standing, but his legs gave in. 

"Do you want help... to stop the bleeding?" She asks after some time. 

Aiden shakes his head, still dizzy. "I'm fine. I just need..." Blood. He needs blood. 

Ever since he's returned to his home, he's felt a strong need to drink blood. Any blood but his own would suffice. This is most likely a result of the lack of blood he drank in Krystal's world. Blood would heal him in an instant. 

"You don't look fine." Krystal comes closer. Her eyes are fixated on his chest, where she stabbed him. "You're not bleeding." That was a statement.

He nods. "I told you, I'm not human. I'm something more... more unique."

She frowns. "Not a human? I thought you were kidding." She stands directly in front of him, still confused. "Then what are you?"

Aiden gulped. His throat was killing him. It was parched like it was full of sand. It was terrible. He needs something to drink. What about a small bite onto Krystal? He quickly shook his head. That was out of the question. That was wrong. He wouldn't. The girl in front of him was Krystal. The annoying girl who kept him entertained in the human world. His only real companion. Yuri's sister-in-law. He gritted his teeth. His vision was blurring slightly. No... The world around him slowly faded to black.

As Luna was walking down the hall, she immediately stiffened. Something was wrong. She smelled the air. Blood. Her eyes widened. It couldn't be that human girl's right?

If she could smell it... Then so did everyone else.

She quickly turned around and ran to his room. If people found out that Aiden had returned, people would question why, and go look for him.

That means the human girl is also in danger. If she didn't make it in time, all hell will break loose.

Her hand quickly turned the knob. Her hand burned a little from the Aiden's marking. She ignored the pained and pushed into the room. 

"What's going on here?" She quickly scanned the room. 

She spotted Aiden, sitting limply against the wall. The human girl was sitting beside him, her eyes large and weary. 

"So you do speak my language." Krystal responds.

Luna closed the door and muttered a quick spell. Something that would keep the door shut for a short period of time. "You need to explain it to me quickly. We have no time."

"Time?" Krystal looks around. "Why?"

Luna dashes over to Krystal with lightning speed. She used her vampire ability. "Why does this room reek of my brother's blood? Care to explain that to me, human girl?"

It takes Krystal a few moments to register where Luna was. She was a blur. It was like she teleported. 

"Okay, now I'm offically freaking out." Her hands raise up to admit defeat. "What is going on here?"

Luna lets out a sigh and looks around. What a useless human girl. She spots the knife stuck in the wall and pulls it out. Faint traces of blood lingered on the blade. "Did you stab him?" Angered surged through her. She stabbed Aiden, thus being the reason why they found him.

Krystal gives a small nod. "It was an accident. I swear."

"An accident you say?" Her hand slaps Krystal, sending her flying to the opposing wall, crashing into a dresser. "You stabbed my brother and you say it was an accident?"

Krystal gasps as she pulls herself up. "I swear!" She felt a couple ribs break from the crash. Aiden's sister was strong. Not like human, but something more.

"Do you know the consequence of stabbing a vampire, in a vampire world?" Luna asks. "And to top it off, you're a human."

"Vam-vampire? A vampire world?" 

"I was wrong to bring you here." Luna paces the room, her eyes glued to the door. "Now, they're going to put Aiden in the chamber, you to death, and me. Hah. I guess I'm dead too."

"Can you please explain to me what's going on here? Vampires? You're a vampire? Like the fairy tales?" Krystal struggles to grasp what is happening. 

"Yes you dumb girl. V-A-M-P-I-R-E. Vampire. We exist. And my foolish self brought you to our world." Luna walks over to Aiden. She bites into her own wrist and shoves it into Aiden's mouth. "We need to get out of here."

"I am so-"

"Stay confused." Luna snapped. "Let Aiden explain it to you when he wakes up."

Aiden's eyes shot open and he grabbed onto Luna's wrist, drinking the blood. Within a few seconds, he pushes it away. "Why're you here?"

"Why are you such a naive and stupid brother?" Luna asks. He frowns. "Nothing."

Aiden noticed that Krystal was grasping her side. "Are you okay?"

"Your blood reeks. The scent is everywhere." Luna says. "They're coming."

"You mean... father?"

She shakes her head. "Uncle is coming for you. You and that girl need to leave." Luna walks over to Krystal and drags her to Aiden. "I'll send you back to the human world."

A loud knocking could be heard. The doorknob twisted and turned, but it wouldn't open. Luna's spell was preventing it. Voices could be heard on the other side.

"Send us back? Let me just explain to uncle, he'll understand." Aiden shook his head. "You're overreacting Luna."

"You don't know what uncle is capable of now." Luna bites her thumb, drawing blood to map a spell. "If he finds out it was your blood, he'll have you executed, which will leave him to the only heir to the throne."

"We're his family." Aiden frowned. "I'm his nephew."

"He's different now. Here is too dangerous." Luna begins to draw the teleportation spell. "The human world is the safest place for you right now. I'll tell mother that you stopped by."

"You're staying here?" Aiden stands up. "If you're saying uncles has changed, do you think he'll show you mercy?"

Luna laughs. "Worry about yourself for once. I'll be fine. I'm not in line for the throne like you are."

Aiden doesn't look convinced, but has no choice but to follow Luna's orders. "Once things settle down, bring me back, okay?"

Luna nods. "I wish I had more time, but we don't. Just remember. Stay away from the other humans. If they find out what you are." She turns to Krystal. "I leave my brother in your care, since it's your world. But if you ever open those lips to reveal what we are, even death won't be peaceful."
