Taeyeon’s POV

Everybody have arrived and seated on their respective chair. Sooyoung as the host seated at the head of the table, in her left side is Hyoyeon my cousin, to Hyo left is me, to my left is Jessica my girlfriend and to her left is Yoona, Yuri’s cousin. Yuri seated near sooyoung’s right hand, next to her is Tiffany which is exactly in front of me and next to Tiffany is Sunny and then seohyun.

The situation is obviously awkward.

How can they not when everybody knows that Yuri and Jessica used to be an item back then.

When I said everybody, I’m implying my friends.

I’m not sure about tiffany’s friends, I mean Sunny and Seohyun.

There is one thing that I’m very sure, only me, Jessica, yuri and Sooyoung know the real reason of the so called perfect couple break up.

Sigh.

Yes, everybody thinks that Yuri and Jessica made a perfect couple.

They were meant to be together.

Yes, people said that they were meant to be together.

Those were stupid people.

I hate them.

It hurts me a lot every time I heard them said those sentence.

I fall in love with Jessica since the first time I laid my eyes on her but I just kept in myself.

Well, I’m such a coward back then.

When finally I’ve gathered my courage to confess to her, Yuri beat me.

She confessed to Jessica first.

Alright, nothing going to change even if I confessed first that time.

Why?

Because it is so obvious that Jessica and Yuri were madly and deeply in love with each other back then.

That’s why I cannot help but feel insecure when Yuri coming back.

Yes, I feel insecure.

I cannot help myself to feel that way.

I have been invaded by a lot of negative thought.

What if she try to take Jessica back from me?

What if Jessica still loves Yuri?

That’s what scared me most.

Finally I lose my sanity.

I made gravely mistake.

I ruined my bestfriend’s life.

I’ve been thinking the way to fix the mistake but I found none.

Someone, please help me fix this mistake.

Something has pulled me back to reality.

I feel a soft and warm hand touching my left hand which I placed on the table.

Funny how such a mere touch by her can put me at ease.

I look at our hand for a brief moment before I look at her beautiful face.

She smile at me, I reflected her did back to her.

“Are you okay?” her voice full of concern.

“I’m.” I answer with a smile.

“Let’s eat,” said her.

I didn’t realize that the food has been served.

It is a steak, what is so new about it?

Maybe it is the sauce?

“It is a steak, what is so new about it Soo?” Yuri asked Sooyoung.

Damn, exactly same with my thought.

“YAH! It is a new recipe for the sauce. Taste it first could you?”

“Aah, alright.”

I started to savour my steak.

It is like what Sooyoung said, the sauce taste different from the old one.

You can taste the sweetness, spicy and

“Wow, romantic much our newlywed couple?” I heard Yoona’s voice.

Who is the newlywed couple?

Yuri and Tiffany?

I take a look at them, just to find what is the romantic about.

Yuri is feeding Tiffany?

Well with the way the they act towards each other right now even I would not deny that they a real and happy couple.

But sadly they were just acting.

Somehow, deep inside me I wish they are real.

I wish they will fall for each other.

I wish that Tiffany will make Yuri happy and Yuri will make Tiffany happy.

Dear god, please grand my wish.

I betrayed these two persons so much.

Let them be happy with each other company even if there are no us for me and Jessica in the future.

“Unnie, what happen to your hand?” it is Yoona who is asking Tiffany.

With that, I look at her hand that was bandaged.

I can say that she got everybody’s attention right now and we are waiting for her answer on what had happened to her hand.

“I got it hurt when I accidently touched a hot pot.” She explains while examining her right hand.

 “How did that happen?” it is Sooyoung who is asking this time.

“Well…” it seems like she’s hesitating to answer Sooyoung’s question.

And why is that?

“It must be Yuri unnie’s fault right? She distracted you while cooking.”  Yoona look at Yuri accusingly right after she said that.

Yuri stop all her doing which is cutting the steak for Tiffany and look at Yoona.

“It is not my fault, it was an accident.” Calmly, she defends herself from Yoona’s accusation.

 I don’t know but the word accident there make her statement sounds as fishy possible, no matter how innocent it supposed to be mean.

And I think that it is not only me who is having this weird thought since I can see a mischievous smile on Hyoyeon and Yoona’s face.

“So Tiffany-ssi, how is she on bed? From 1 to 10, where is her skill will be?” and here it comes the ert Hyoyeon.

“ Yah! What sort of question is that?! You ert!” Yuri says and turns her attention on Tiffany.

“Just ignore her,” she said to Tiffany who is blushing madly right now.

Protective Yul and blushing Tiffany.

Hmm.

Again, they look real.

The night goes by with a lot more teasing from Hyoyeon and Yoona towards Yuri and Tiffany.

We waved goodbye to each other around 12am.

Before I enter my car, I take a last glance at Tiffany.

Maybe I should ask her personally whether they are real or not.

Yeah, I should ask her.
