                “What? What plans, driving me to work was our thing. Why stop now? I hate riding by myself” I’ve been waiting for Ilhoon for five minutes and he dare text me that he’s ditching me? Without even saying sorry? I grabbed my bag and hopped on the bicycle. I seemed so different going to work by myself. It feels strange.

                “Eun Mi Noona!” A familiar voice shouted I stopped and looked behind me, Junhong was on his skateboard he stopped in front of me and smiled

                “What do you want?”

                “Wow, you’re in a bad mood” He answered playfully “I was just wondering since your ankle looks okay I can teach you how to ride a skateboard”

                “Oh, really? Really? You really will??” I was getting excited, I’ve always wanted to learn skateboarding but there was no one to teach me, so Ilhoon and his friends just bought me a bicycle so I would stop nagging the about how they’re boring and couldn’t ride a skateboard

                “Yeah, Of course. Wanna start today?”

                “Uh, I can’t I have to go to work, how about this weekend?”

                “Sure! This weekend okay. No backing out”

                “Yes Sir!” I saluted

                “Okay, Bye Noona!” He shouted and left in a hurry

                “Wait. Noona? Yah!! Junhong! Choi Junhong! We’re the same age! I’m not a Noona!!!

 

                “Yah! Kang Eun Mi! You’re late!” Yewon Unnie yelled as I change into my uniform

                “Sorry Unnie. I had things to take care of after school. It won’t happen again” I assured her and left the room and went behind the counter.

                “Okay, just make sure you come on time next time. I’ll take my break. Oh right. This weekend there will be someone helping you with your night shift you show here the procedures and stuff okay”

                “Yes. Have a nice break” and with that she was off. I guess she’s meeting with that Minhyuk again. I’ve never really seen him before. Are they really going out?

                “One Cappuccino please” a familiar cave voice said, I looked up and saw him smiling at me, his usual ‘I-can-melt-you-with-my-smile’ smile.

                “Is that all?”

                “And one Americano” a girl interrupted

                “And one Americano” Yongguk repeated, she took his bag and sat at the table near the window where you could see the fountain outside

               “5,000 won please” he has a girlfriend. He has a girlfriend. And a pretty and y woman who know how to act cute. Better luck next time E\Kang Eun Mi, this guy is already taken.

                “Here you go”

                “I receive the exact amount” Here’s your buzzer. It’ll buzz when your order is ready” I said handing it to him

                “No thanks I’ll just wait for it here”

                “Suit yourself player” I said to myself. But I guess he heard it

                “Excuse me?”

                “Oh, nothing”

                “So you’re here alone again?”

                “Isn’t it obvious?”

                “And you’re in a bad mood”

                “Look. I can’t concentrate with what I’m doing so can you just take the buzzer and sit with your girlfriend?”

                “Okay. Looks like you’re not up for a story today. And she’s not my girlfriend, she’s my sister” he said taking the buzzer and walked off

                Okay, this is the second time I’m being stupid today.

                When their drinks were ready I clicked the buzzer and he went over

                “Enjoy your drinks”

                “Thanks”

                “Yongguk-sshi, sorry for snapping at you like that, I’m not in my right mind today”

                “It’s okay, ever jealous girl can get crazy at times” he said with a wink and went back to his table
