I was shopping at the food market today.
I heard someone say my name in the distance but I didn't pay attention.
As I was getting the last of the items I felt a pair of hands on my shoulders.
They felt warm and familiar.

And they were, they belonged to you.

I felt it again, my heart beating.
You look older and you shine brighter.
You smiled at me for the first time, this time I could tell.
You have no idea how badly I wanted to hug you but I didn't....

You don't belong to me.
You belong to someone else.

I still enjoyed it.
Our small conversation.
Listening to your voice again brought me so much joy.
It seems like you are almost back to normal.
