Chapter 9: the dark side

_Oppa, where were you last night? Boram whined and finished with a pout, attempting to swoon Lee Joon over with her cute puppy face while tugging at his sleeve.

_I was on a date. Lee Joon answered without even looking at her, meanwhile a goofy smile was creeping onto his face as he slowly recalled the events of last night.

_A date? with who? the questions came out from Boram's mouth in a low composed tone, but her insides were errupting like a volcano and her face was flushed with a bright red colour that in any other situation would indicate that she was blushing, but not in this case.Her hands were shaking fircely and her lips were trumbling as if she was about to cry. AS IF!

_With Mi Jin, you know the girl I introduced you to yesterday morning? the lad was completely oblivious to the sudden change of atmosphere in his vaste room, he was still lying on his bed staring at the ceiling as if it held the secrets of the entire universe on it's white surface, and Boram, who was once seated on the side of the bed next t her "oppa", was now making her way to the other end of the room towards the wooden desk. She sat on the chair, hands still shaking and stared at Lee Joon for quiet sometime before she finally let out:

_But oppa, didn't you say you just met het 2 days ago?

_Yes I did.

_And you asked her out already? this is not like you oppa! are you sure you're okey? could this be another side of your depression?

_Boram-ah! relax. I'm perfectly fine. Actually, I've never been better. I know this may look rushed, but we just clicked you know? I liked her instantly.

_Oh! was all that Boram could manage to say, after all, t's safe to say that she was shocked. More like crushed. The man she knew and loved for as long as she could remember was falling for another girl. Again.

After all she did for him, all the pain, all the sacrifices, the tears she shed and the sleepless nights she spent thinking about him. He was making his way into another love story and she wasn't a part of it. But if Boram had learned anything from the last experience, it was that there is nothing she won't do for her love, and if Lee Joon wasn't hers, he won't be anyone else's. 

After all, If you kill once for love, you can kill twice.

_Oppa, I have to go now. I'll see you later okey?

Making her way out of the room, Boram closed the door behind her and hurried down the stairs. Once she was in the garden, she pulled out her phone and dialled a number in a hurry. 

_Yeoboseyo? the voice on the other end said.

_It's me. Remember that favour I owe you?

_Yes.

_I think it's time to pay me back. Meet me at the usual place at 9 tonight. Don't be late.

_I won't.
