Another Me Part 2

"Myung, come on. Please." Woohyun said while doing aegyo

"Aniyo. I don’t want to go." Myungsoo said, trying to hide his face, to not see Woohyun’s aegyo

"But it’ll be fun." Woohyun said, pouting

Woohyun wanted to go on a date with Myungsoo but he refused, he was afraid that the L would appear. Yes, Myungsoo was really worried about what was going on and it was completely normal but Woohyun would be always by his side, he would never let L appear and kill someone.

"Okay, I'm going alone." Woohyun said, dressing his t-shirt

Myungsoo looked at the older and saw that he was preparing to leave the house. Myungsoo got up from the bed and backhugged Woohyun.

"No." Myungsoo said, pouting

"But Myung, I want go out." Woohyun said "Just a little bit."

"Just a little bit?" Myungsoo asked while looking at the older, suspicious

"Just a little bit." Woohyun said, smiling

"Um...ok, ok. I’ll go with you." Myungsoo said, giving up

"Good! You're the best boyfriend ever." Woohyun said, hugging Myungsoo

" I'll prepare myself." Myungsoo said, smiling at Woohyun

"Okay," Woohyun said, sitting on the couch, where he would wait for Myungsoo

Myungsoo walked into the bathroom to take a quick shower, which he left a few minutes later.

"I'm ready." Myungsoo said, sitting next to his boyfriend

"Come on." Woohyun said, grasping Myungsoo’s hand

Both left home and entered in Woohyun’s car. They decided to go see a movie and then eat at a restaurant.

Once they arrived at Hongdae, Woohyun parked the car. They walked through the streets of Hongdae, hand in hand, without bothering with the fact that they have people watching them.

Myungsoo and Woohyun would see that some people commented about them but none of them cared.

After watching a romantic movie, chosen by Woohyun (A/N: Always romantic, our Namu xD), they entered a small restaurant, where they ate.

It was already night and Myungsoo felt unsafe, however, Woohyun said that everything would be fine, he was on his side and would never let him do anything wrong.

After dinner, Myungsoo asked Woohyun to return home because, despite knowing that he Woohyun would prevent him from doing something, he would feel safer.

Woohyun agreed and they walked toward the car Woohyun.

"You liked?" Woohyun said as they walked toward his car

"Yeah." Myungsoo replied, smiling

"I told you'd like." Woohyun said, smiling too, "We must do this more often."

Myungsoo smiled and kept walking, serenely

Suddenly, someone was against Woohyun, causing him to fall to the ground. Myungsoo, worried about him, stooped.

"Are you okay?" Myungsoo asked, helping Woohyun

"Yes" Woohyun said, smiling a bit

"Chesonghamnida." The man, who had gone against Woohyun, said

"It's okay." Woohyun said, smiling at the man

"What?" Myungsoo said, upset

"Myungsoo...it's okay." Woohyun said, grabbing his hand

Once he looked at Myungsoo's eyes, he realized that something wrong would happen. It was no longer Myungsoo, it was L.

Woohyun grabbed the younger’s hand even harder and tried to push him, to take him to his car but L was stronger.

"I'm a bit in a hurry. My boyfriend is waiting for me." The man said, a little nervous

Woohyun looked at him and smiled a little.

"Sungyeol?" Woohyun said, recognizing him

"Oh! Woohyun-sshi, mian, I didn’t recognize you." Sungyeol said, embarrassed

"It's okay, I didn’t recognize you too." Woohyun said, smiling a little "I'm sorry, we have to get going. Goodbye, Sungyeol-sshi. "

"Aniyo. I haven’t finished my conversation with him. " L said, upset

"L, let's go." Woohyun said, pushing L

Woohyun smiled one last time to Sungyeol, and then follow his path with L.

∞ The next day ∞

Myungsoo had just woken up when Woohyun entered his room. He was very surprised to see the older at his home, however, he was a bit confused.

"How do I get home?" Myungsoo asked, looking at Woohyun

Woohyun sat up in the bed and told everything to Myungsoo, who was shocked.

"Mian…mian, Woohyun." Myungsoo said, several times

"It's okay. I stopped you. Relax, everything is fine." Woohyun said, hugging Myungsoo

"I said that something would happen." Myungsoo said

Myungsoo was afraid of himself, yes it's true, although L was someone completely different from Myungsoo, Myungsoo was L and L was Myungsoo, they were both in the same body.

"Don’t worry, everything is fine." Woohyun said

Myungsoo hugged Woohyun tightly, and after a few minutes, he seemed to be calm.

Suddenly, the doorbell rang. Myungsoo Woohyun told to him go eat his breakfast, that he would open the door.

Myungsoo nodded and while he would take breakfast, Woohyun walked to the door.

"Good morning." One man, with a harsh voice, said

"Good morning. You need something?" Woohyun asked, politely

"We would like to speak with Mr. Kim Myungsoo." The man said "He's at home?"

"Huh? Who are you? "Woohyun asked, anxious

"Bang Yongguk, chef of the Seoul Police." Yongguk replied while showing his card to Woohyun

"Oh," Woohyun simply said

"So, Mr. Kim Myungsoo is at home?" Yongguk asked again

"Huh? N-no, he had to-" Woohyun couldn’t finish his sentence

"Woohyun, who is?" Myungsoo shouted from the kitchen

Yongguk looked seriously at Woohyun, before entering the house. Himchan, who was behind Yongguk, entered too.

"No wait." Woohyun said, trying to prevent them from entering, however, Yongguk managed to enter the kitchen

"Good morning." Yongguk said, approaching Myungsoo

"Good morning. You need something? "He asked, standing up

"We need to speak with Mr. Kim Myungsoo" Yongguk said, pulling something from his pocket

"Oh! Ok" Myungsoo said, unaware that the two men might have discovered something that he had been hiding for a long time

"Do you know this bracelet?" Yongguk asked, showing the object to Myungsoo, who was shocked

It can’t be. Woohyun and Myungsoo thought at the same time.

That bracelet belonged to Myungsoo and it was Woohyun who had offered it to him, on his 19th birthday.

∞ Flashback ∞

"Good morning!" Woohyun said, entering the Myungsoo’s house

Myungsoo hadn’t wake up until the bell rang, making the younger woke up.

"Good morning." Myungsoo said, with a sleepy voice

"Myung, you were sleeping?" Woohyun asked, looking at the younger

"Hm....yes." Myungsoo said, sitting on the couch. "What are you doing here so early?"

"I came to celebrate your birthday." Woohyun said, smiling

"Huh? Today is March 13? "Myungsoo asked "Oh!"

"Congratulations, Myung!" Woohyun said, sitting on the younger’s lap

"Thank you!" Myungsoo said, smiling

Woohyun kissed the younger, while he took something out of his pocket. Myungsoo put his arms around Woohyun's waist, pulling him closer.

"Here.” Woohyun said, holding a box in his hand

"What is?" Myungsoo asked and Woohyun placed it in Myungsoo’s hand

"Open it." the older said, smiling

Myungsoo carefully opened the box and smiled when he saw the object that the box contained. He hugged and kissed Woohyun.

(A/N: It's too cheesy? xD)

"Thank you!" Myungsoo said, smiling even more

"Keep it well." Woohyun said, hugging Myungsoo

"Always." Myungsoo said, smiling brightly

∞ End of Flashback ∞

"It's mine." Woohyun, suddenly, said

"Huh?" Yongguk and Myungsoo said, shocked

Yeah, Yongguk knew the truth. The results of DNA tests were very specific, the killer was Kim Myungsoo (well, it was L but no one, except Myungsoo and Woohyun, knew that).

Myungsoo couldn’t believe that the older had lied just to defend him, Woohyun was sacrificing his freedom for him and Myungsoo couldn’t let him do it, Woohyun didn’t have to pay for his (L’s) mistakes.

"Aniyo, the bracelet is mine." Myungsoo said, taking the bracelet

"This bracelet was found near the victim who was murdered 3 days ago." Himchan said, pointing to the bracelet

. Myungsoo thought.

Myungsoo knew this day would come, sooner or later.

Myungsoo said nothing, only approached Yongguk.

"Myungsoo, don’t ..." Woohyun said, trying to stop Myungsoo

Woohyun was being selfish? True, but Myungsoo was everything to him. Woohyun couldn’t let them take him, stole the younger from him, he couldn’t let Myungsoo be arrested.

Myungsoo looked sadly at Woohyun but then looked back at Yongguk.

"I am guilty....all of them." Myungsoo said, admitting the truth

"Very well." Yongguk said, approaching Myungsoo and handcuffing him

"No." Woohyun said, standing in front of them

"Get out of the way, please" Himchan said, trying to pull Woohyun

"No...he isn’t the culprit. He's lying."Woohyun lied again

"Woohyun stop!" Myungsoo said. in a serious tone "I-it’s over.... I can’t escape. Move, please."

"No, Myung." Woohyun said, crying

Myungsoo looked sadly at Woohyun and several tears streamed down his face. The couple said goodbye with a kiss and then Myungsoo was taken to the police car, which left after a few seconds.

Woohyun ran to the door and saw the police car. Myungsoo looked one last time to him and smiled sweetly to him.

Woohyun collapsed on the floor. Myungsoo was gone, they had discovered Myungsoo, Myungsoo couldn’t be with him anymore, Myungsoo couldn’t be happy with him, all of Woohyun’s plans for the future simply vanished.

∞ ∞ ∞

"Omma!" Woohyun called, entering in his house

In his face some tears still streamed down on his face and Woohyun didn’t wipe them.

Woohyun's mother, when heard his son call her, left the kitchen running.

When she saw Woohyun’s state, she ran to him and hugged him tightly.

"Woohyun-ah, what happened?" she asked, worriedly

"He was discovered....Myungsoo was discovered." Woohyun said, crying even more

"Huh? He was discovered?" She said, confused "Woohyun, calm down...tell me everything."

"Myungsoo has two personalities: Myungsoo and L…and L was the one who killed all those people." Woohyun said, without looking at his mother

"So then....Myungsoo was the one who killed those people?" She said, shocked by what she had just heard.

Woohyun wanted to say that it was L but he had no strength, he was broken

"Woohyun you knew this how long?” his mother asked

"Since a few months ago." Woohyun said "But mom's don’t blame Myungsoo, it was the L...L is the culprit."

"Oh my God" she said, more and more shocked "Go rest, son."

Woohyun said nothing and stood up from the couch, where he was sitting earlier, and headed for the stairs. His mother picked up her phone and called someone.

"I know who killed all those people." She said "Oh! Okay, chef….Don’t worry, I'll be careful with him.....yes, don’t worry, Woohyun won’t leave home....ok, thank you. "

I don’t believe. S-she....she would accuse Myungsoo. Woohyun thought, shocked by his mother’s attitude.

After a few days.

As she promised to Yongguk, Woohyun’s mother watched his son and didn’t let him go out, not even for a minute.

Woohyun tried several times to leave the house without anybody see, but ended up being caught by his mother, who sent him to his room again.

During these days, Woohyun created a plan to take Myungsoo from prison and escape with him. He didn’t know when he would get out but when he had an opportunity, he would take it, without thinking.

Woohyun would take Myungsoo from the prison, he wouldn’t let the younger be arrested for something he wasn’t guilty, he would protect Myungsoo, as he always promised.

Myungsoo, in other hand, was more and more depressed. He missed Woohyun, he couldn’t leave without him, he couldn’t live without kiss Woohyun in lips, he couldn’t live without hugging Woohyun, he couldn’t live without Woohyun’s presence, he simply couldn’t live if Woohyun wasn’t by his side.

It’s so sad. They loved each other so much and now they couldn’t be together because Myungsoo had two personalities, it was so unfair, it was really unfair and both of them knew but neither of them would give up.

Myungsoo wouldn’t escape of the prison but he knew when he would (and if he would) be released that the first person that he would go it was Woohyun.

Like Woohyun, Myungsoo cried sometimes. Yeah, he wasn’t the type of person of crying easily but he missed Woohyun so much, it was like they had taken one part of him. It was really hard but Myungsoo would endure just for Woohyun, like the other did.

"Woohyun, I have to go to the supermarket.." Woohyun's mother said, before leaving home.

Woohyun smiled, however, when he heard his mother lock the door, so he couldn’t leave the house, he was disappointed.

However, he wouldn’t give up. He went downstairs and looked around. He went to the kitchen and saw the window open.

It was good that they lived in a house, if they lived in an apartment Woohyun would have to jump.

Outside the house, Woohyun put his mask, so no one recognized him and headed for his car.

Once we got into the car, he pulled out his phone.

Hyung, I'm ready. Thank you for helping me.

Woohyun put his phone and started to drive. After a few minutes, he received a message.

Ok, Woohyun, I'm waiting for you. You’re welcome, you can always count on me.

Woohyun smiled as he read the message. He knew he shouldn’t involve Sunggyu that mess, however, he couldn’t do anything alone, with Sunggyu’s help, who was a police, he would be able to take Myungsoo from the prison and escape with him.

He was being selfish again? Yes, he was. He knew what were the consequences - Woohyun would be arrested and Sunggyu would be fired - however, Woohyun wouldn’t give up, his love for Myungsoo was stronger.

Once he arrived, he spotted Himchan and Sunggyu, who saw him too.

Sunggyu said something to Himchan and he smiled at him. A few seconds later, Himchan walked in the opposite direction.

Woohyun, after see Himchan walking away, got out of the car and approached Sunggyu.

"I'm here." He said, smiling, "Shall we go?"

"Yes. Nobody is here, just you, me and Myungsoo." Sunggyu said "I thought that you wouldn’t come, you know…because of your mother. Myungsoo will be transferred in a week and would be difficult to get him out of there without to be seen."

"My mom was always watching me. I just could get out now." Woohyun said, a bit upset

"Okay. Well...here we are." Sunggyu said, approaching a door.

Sunggyu opened the door and motioned for Woohyun enter. Woohyun took a few steps forward and he could see Myungsoo sitting on the bed with his knees against his chest. Woohyun walked faster and hugged the younger, who was surprised to see the older.

"Woohyun..." Myungsoo mumbled, surprised

"I missed you much." Woohyun said, hugging Myungsoo strongly

"I missed you too." Myungsoo said, hugging Woohyun

Suddenly, they heard someone cough. They both looked at Sunggyu.

"You better get going. Himchan wiil return soon and none of us can be caught, right?" Sunggyu said, looking at the two boys

"Sure. Mian, hyung." Woohyun said as he stood up "Come on, Myung. "

"Where?" Myungsoo asked, confused

"I came to get you. We'll run away. "Woohyun said, extend his hand "Shall we?"

Myungsoo was hesitant. That, run away, wouldn’t make things worse? Even if they run away from Korea, L wouldn’t disappear, he wouldn’t stop killing people.

Myungsoo wanted to run away, he wanted to be happy with Woohyun but he was scared that L would appear again, he was so scared, really scared.

"Myung, y-you....d-don’t want to go?" Woohyun asked, sad

"No...I want." Myungsoo said, taking Woohyun’s hand "Come on."

Myungsoo didn’t care about anything else, he just wanted to be happy with Woohyun, whatever the cost. He decided that he would be strong, he wouldn’t let L appear, never.

The three left the room, where Myungsoo had remained for several days, and headed for the exit.

"Thank you, hyung. I'm very grateful." Woohyun said, smiling sweetly at the older

"Be careful, please." Sunggyu said, worried

"Don’t worry, we’ll be okay." Woohyun said, looking at Myungsoo

Myungsoo smiled at Sunggyu, who smiled at him too.

Sunggyu didn’t tell Woohyun but he and Myungsoo talked a few times, the younger told him about their moment (Myungsoo’s and Woohyun’s moments) and told him that he had two personalities too.

When Woohyun called him for help, he accepted immediately because he understood Myungsoo’s situation. He knew he shouldn’t do that but he knew that if it happened the same to him and Woohyun were in the same position as him, Woohyun would also help him.

The two took said goodbye to Sunggyu, before entering the car Woohyun. Sunggyu smiled at them one last time and then Woohyun started to drive.

"Woohyun...thanks." Myungsoo said, smiling

"I would never let you stay there." Woohyun said, while driving

"I know. You are in dangerous because of me....again." Myungsoo said, looking out the window "I think my life wouldn’t make sense without you."

"My life is meaningless without you, Myung. I love you." Woohyun said, smiling sweetly

"I love you too, Woohyun" Myungsoo said, kissing the older in the cheek “But…we'll be happy, right? We’ll be safe?"

"Sure. I'll always be by your side. I won’t let them take you from me again, never. We’ll be together forever." Woohyun assured, smiling

Myungsoo smiled and pulled Woohyun for a kiss. They smiled and Woohyun continued to drive, happy.

When he looked forward, Woohyun saw a car come towards them and tried to swerve. Myungsoo tried to say something but the words were stuck in his throat.

It’s over. Woohyun and Myungsoo thought at the same time.
