{KIRA’S POV}

Minhyuk touched our foreheads together and he closed his eyes.

I looked at his beautiful face and I couldn’t help but hurt inside.

“Minhyuk don’t… Please…” I murmured. He pulled away for a moment, looked into my eyes and then kissed my lips. It shocked me at first so I didn’t respond. He started caressing my cheeks which made melt into the kiss. Being able to kiss him again made me incredibly happy but then Jaehyo’s face started flashing in my head. This was wrong. This shouldn’t be happening. I pushed Minhyuk away and I wiped my lips as if I was disgusted.

I stood up and prepared to walk away but he grabbed my wrists. I shook him off quickly before he could trap me with another kiss.

“Minhyuk don’t do this!” I shouted indecorously.

“Kira please… can we just get back together? Its what we both want.”

“I’m with Jaehyo and you’re with Chani! Stop all this nonsense!”

“I broke up with Chani. Me and her are over.” Minhyuk announced.

Deep inside, I was jumping with joy cos Minhyuk is now a free agent again. However I feel guilty. Chani didn’t deserve to be dumped.

She was a nice girl. Unfortunately, she got caught up with all this.

I looked up at Minhyuk and smiled sadly at him. I wanted to get out of there before I do something that I will regret doing later on. But he had grabbed my arm before I could completely walk away from him.

“Wait--” He pleaded his eyes full of longing.

“I can’t… I’m sorry…” I declared and then finally got to walk out.

I closed the door gently behind me. I cried as I leaned against the wall.

My knees weakened so I ended up sitting on the floor, hugging my knees.

“Minhyuk or Jaehyo?” I asked myself.

I wanted to get back with Minhyuk. I love him. I still love him. He wants to get back with me. He loves me. He still loves me after all this time. I can’t believe these past few months I was in denial that I’ve moved on from him when after all Jaehyo was just a rebound. But as our relationship went, I actually learned to love him. And now he’s gone and I don’t know what to do. I love Jaehyo but I love Minhyuk more. That’s all I needed to realize.

I wiped my tears and then stood up. I took a deep breath before re-entering Minhyuk’s bedroom. Closing the door behind me again, I saw him lying down on his bed, with his hands covering his face. He heard me walking towards him. “Hey--” he said. I kept silent as I went to lie down beside him.

He turned to his side so that we were facing each other. I smiled at him; this time it wasn’t a sad smile. It was a genuine happy smile.

“Me and you yeah?” I whispered. He nodded happily.

I moved closer and pulled him for a kiss. I was over the moon when he didn’t do anything else but kiss me back. I’m so sorry Jaehyo.

But it’s always been Minhyuk

The next day…

I woke up the next day feeling extremely happy and extremely guilty at the same time. Longing for comfort and for someone’s touch, I turned to Minhyuk. I know I shouldn’t have done anything with him last night because technically I’m still currently in a relationship with Jaehyo but there was no way I could have resisted Minhyuk. I let out a tear and quickly wiped it away when I felt Minhyuk kissing my bare shoulder. I had my back onto him and I didn’t want him to see the guilt on my face.

“Last night was amazing~” He crooned into my ear.

I felt a lump in my throat thinking about how Jaehyo would react when he finds out that I had betrayed him. But wait a minute. Wasn’t he the one who randomly disappeared out of the blue without leaving a reason?

Wasn’t he the one who hasn’t contacted me -- his girlfriend?

Maybe I shouldn’t feel guilty for sleeping with Minhyuk last night.

“Yeah~ it was…” I responded. Minhyuk carried on leaving trails of kisses on my shoulder. His arm tightened on my waist and then pulled me closer.

“I missed you so much Kira…” He said and then kissed the top of my head.

“Are we back together?” I faced him and asked in a serious tone.

“I want us to be. Do you want us to be?” He replied.

“But I’m still with Jaehyo…” I gulped. Time to face reality I thought.

“Kira it’s clear that when he chose to left you, your relationship automatically ended…” Minhyuk mentioned. I sighed out loud.

“If you have doubts, don’t get back with me.” Minhyuk sighed too.

The last thing I want is to upset him now. Besides the only thing I want now is to be back with him. I really shouldn’t care about Jaehyo anymore.

Minhyuk stood up and started putting his clothes on.

“I don’t have doubts oppa. I love you. I want you to be my boyfriend again. Will you take me back?” I spoke. I sat upright in bed and covered myself with a blanket. Minhyuk turned around and smiled at me.

“Yes, yes and yes. I love you Kira.” He said and then kissed me lovingly.

After we both got changed, we went downstairs to get some breakfast.

It was a Sunday and it was only 8 in the morning so every one else were still fast asleep upstairs. Minhyuk and I ate breakfast while talking with each other. It’s as if we never broke up and the phase with Chani and Jaehyo never happened. We laughed, teased each other and talked about the future without mentioning our exes not once. Hours passed and the boys woke up one by one. Minhyuk and I acted like nothing has changed.

“You two are up early!” Kyung said.

“There’s some bacon on the table for you.” I mentioned.

“You seem even happier today Kira. I’m glad.” Kyung smiled.

“I have a reason to be happier today…” I thought.

Kyung ate his breakfast while telling us about a weird dream he had last night. Apparently his real parents were cucumbers and he had carrots as his older and younger siblings. He happened to be really freaked out about that. Ji Hoon awoke next with Toto tightly secured under his arm.

“Noona! I smelt bacon!” He grinned widely.

“I think Kyungie left you some…” I giggled.

When Taeil entered the kitchen he eyed Minhyuk and I closely. We tried to act aloof and I suddenly got nervous to telling them about the news.

U-Kwon yawned his way through breakfast while Zico nearly scoffed all the food. None of them had any idea that Minhyuk and I were holding hands under the table. Minhyuk started playing with my fingers making me giggle.

“Can I have ice cream?” Ji Hoon spoke.

“Not for breakfast maknae,” Taeil told him.

“Plus I ate all the ice cream last night,” U-Kwon chuckled.

“But Toto wanted some!!!” Ji Hoon gasped in disbelief.

“Relax Pyo; I’ll buy him some…” U-Kwon rolled his eyes to the ceiling.

“I’ll go watch TV in the living room,” I excused myself.

I started flicking through the channels and then settled on watching a drama. I wasn’t paying attention to it because I wanted Minhyuk to be sitting beside me and watching it with me. Soon enough he arrived and pecked me on the lips quickly before sitting down beside me.

“How are we going to tell them?” I whispered.

“I really think they’re going to be happy for us…” He smiled.

“Taeil would be furious…” I sighed.

“He’ll get over it,” Minhyuk smirked.

He slowly placed his arm over my shoulder and then I rested my head against his. He kissed my forehead and then gave me a squeeze.

Just then MiCo walked in the living room. Minyoung was on Zico’s back and she slid off when she saw that Minhyuk and I were close to each other.

“Are you two--” She whispered. We nodded at her.

“Ah~ congrats hyung!” Zico and Minhyuk high fived each other.

“OMONA!!!!!!” Minyoung screamed in delight.

“We don’t want to make a scene…” Minhyuk sighed.

Hearing Minyoung’s shrill scream, Ji Hoon, Kyung, U-Kwon and Taeil ran into the living room looking curious. Minhyuk squeezed me tighter.

“What’s going on?” Kyung asked dumbfounded.

“MinhyuKira is back! MinhyuKira is back!” Minyoung ran around the room like a lunatic. Zico grabbed her and twirled her around making her giggle.

“I’ll end MiCo if you don’t shut up.” Minhyuk hissed at his little sister.

“I’m so happy for you two. But poor Jaehyo hyung.” Ji Hoon said.

“You two are just so stubborn aren’t you?” Taeil sighed.

“Mianhaeyo~” Minhyuk and I chorused.

“But I can’t deny the fact that you two are supposed to be together.” Taeil smiled. I smiled too and then went to give my shark oppa a cuddle.

“YA THIS IS NOT FAIR,” U-Kwon stomped his foot on the ground.

“What’s the matter Kwonnie?” I asked.

“Hyung! You already got to sleep with her! It should be my turn now!” U-Kwon complained. The others laughed at him and to be honest I couldn’t help but laugh either.

“Ya U-Kwon ah, Ji Hoon, Taeil, Zico and I haven’t slept with Kira either but you don’t see us whining about it…” Kyung mentioned.

“Its because you don’t love Kira like I do!” U-Kwon pouted.

“Kwonnie~ are you gonna be the only one who isn’t going to be happy about this?” I fluttered my eyelashes at him on purpose.

“I will be happy for the two of you but in one condition.” U-Kwon started.

“No.” Minhyuk chipped in not even letting U-Kwon finish.

“What is it?” I laughed lightly.

“You do it with me once.” U-Kwon pointed at me.

“What?” I gaped.

“No!” Minhyuk yelped.

“Fine! I’m happy for the two of you. Blah blah blah!” U-Kwon huffed.

“What?!” A voice that I haven’t heard for a long time was heard by all of us. We all turned our heads and saw Jaehyo standing by the living room door. My heart started beating fast like a time bomb. Minhyuk stood up and stayed on my side. An awkward silence occurred and it seemed like everyone was afraid to talk or even breathe. My hands started shaking.

“Jaehyo--” I breathed.

“Did I hear it right? You two are back together?” Jaehyo’s eyes started to water. “What about me?” His voice shook.

“You seem to be forgetting that you left her!” Minhyuk yelled.

“That doesn’t give you the right to instantly jump in and steal my girlfriend!” Jaehyo pushed Minhyuk.

“What did you expect me to do? Hang back and watch her be depress?” Minhyuk pushed him back. Kyung had pulled Jaehyo away; U-Kwon pulled Minhyuk away while Zico and Taeil went in the middle. Minyoung and Ji Hoon stayed by my side and comforted me. I was on the edge of tears.

“Jaehyo why don’t you explain to us where have you been?” Taeil said.

“Yes. That will clear things up. Let’s talk about this calmly.” Zico added.

Jaehyo shook Kyung off before started explaining himself.

“I went to Taiwan. Appa had a sudden heart attack. As you all know I’m the heir to the businesses so I had to go there abruptly to step in and sort everything out while my appa is in the hospital.” Jaehyo explained.

“I’m so sorry about your appa but why didn’t you call me? I tried calling you but you never answered your phone!” I cried.

“I didn’t want to explain to you what happened through the phone.” Jaehyo sighed. “I should still be there right now because everything had turned upside down without appa but I thought you deserve to hear my explanation. I was going to ask you to come back to Taiwan with me Kira…”

“Come on guys; let’s leave them to talk in private.” Zico said. Everyone else followed him apart from Minhyuk who stayed put. Zico closed the door and I was once again in the position to choose between Minhyuk and Jaehyo.

“I thought you were gone for good,” I sobbed to Jaehyo.
“I’m sorry I’ve put you through all that.” Jaehyo hugged me.

“Jaehyo she’s with me now.” Minhyuk pulled me towards him.

“I’m still her boyfriend.” Jaehyo said firmly as he refused to let go of my hand. “Kira, come to Taiwan with me…” Jaehyo turned to me.
