After dinner, we send the girls back to their dorm.

“Come up please Kel, you’re not leaving till tomorrow afternoon; you can sleep over at our dorm” Taeyeon pleads at me with her puppy eyes. “Plleeaasseee!”

Claudia looks at me waiting for my answer.

Damn!! I just couldn’t resist her puppy eyes. “What do you think Claudy?” I look at Claudia for asking for help. Claudia shrugs, she release the handbrake, reverse and drives into the apartment’s carpark.

“Guess Claudy wants to stay” I let out a nervous laugh. Damn it Claudy! You always know what I’m thinking.

As we always travel around, our hand carry bags are always pack with the necessary things like toiletries and a set of clothes just in case we need to stay over somewhere last minute. Like this kind of situation now. SNSD dorm. Back here again. It’s quieter now without most of them, Tiffany says most of them are staying with their family now; it’s only Taeyeon and her staying here. But the girls will come back for once in awhile for gatherings or just to get away from their family.

“We are going to wash up and change Kel, you and Claudia should know where the bathroom is.”

When Tiffany and Taeyeon go into their room to change, I look at Claudia immediately

“Why the you drive into the carpark” I hiss at Claudia.

“You wanted to stay don’t you” Claudia throws her bag on the couch.

“Yah but since you know how awkward this will make me feel, you should help me out and say no instead of driving into their carpark” I rummage my bag for my toiletries and the set of clothes.

“Come on Kel, just say you’re happy about it” Claudia roll her eyes and walk toward the bathroom.

I ignore Claudia and walk into the other bathroom to wash up.

“Otoke!!” I vent my frustrations shouting in the bathroom.

Claudia rolls her eyes hearing me shout in the bathroom. Taeyeon rushes out from her room with Tiffany. Claudia just wave at them telling them it’s ok.

When I come out from the bathroom, Taeyeon and Tiffany was sitting on the couch watching TV. Claudia must be still having her shower in another bathroom. I walk up to my bag quietly.

“Are you alright Kel? Why are you shouting in the bathroom?” Tiffany lifts her body up from the couch looking at me.

“Fine, it’s late. I’m just tired.” I answer her without looking at her.

“Oh, both of you can take Taeyeon’s room. Coz she’s sleeping in my room now.” Tiffany stands up, following me from behind as I walk towards Taeyeon’s room.

“Nite nite Tae” I pat her head as I walk pass her.

“Nite nite Kel”

Tiffany follows me into Taeyeon’s room. I lift the comforter up and sit on the bed. This is the bed where I shared a couple of nights with Taeyeon. Tiffany sits on the opposite bed which used to be Sunny’s.

I look at Tiffany. “Remember what I told you before I leave Seoul? I told you to be good to her. Why does she look so sad Tiff, her eyes are not happy anymore.”

“You should know how she is, she doesn’t open up easily. Not even to me. She likes to bottle up everything in her so what can I do? I told her to talk to me to pour out whatever to me, but she just doesn’t want to worry anyone.” Tiffany explains without stopping. “We are already together yet she can’t open up to me, you tell me what to do Kel” Tiffany buries her face in her hands and sob.

I move to her side and console her.

“Sorry Tiff. I will get Claudia to talk to her. Don’t cry. Go to bed now.” I walk out of the bedroom with her. She goes back to her room where I walk towards the direction of the living room. Claudia is already talking to Taeyeon. Claudia is really a professional psychiatrist indeed. I didn’t want to disturb them so I walk back to the bedroom again.

After a few hours, Claudia comes in the room and sits on the side of my bed. I look up at her from my ipad.

“She does displays symptoms of depression. But thankfully she’s not going into depression yet, I managed to dig a lot of troubles and worries out from her. It’s all about her work, the stress being a leader of famous Korean girl group and also because her being together with Tiffany. She really wants everyone to know about them, she’s frustrated. She can’t even tell her parents’ coz she doesn’t know how. She can’t even talk to Tiff about it she doesn’t want Tiff to worry. I told her that she can always call me up if she can’t share with any of her members.  ”

I nod my head while listening to Claudia.

“You’re not going to talk to her?” Claudia puts her hand on my knee.

I shake my head.

“Just go out and take a look at her will you? I made her cry.” Claudia pats my knees. She gets up and goes to her bed. “I’m going to sleep”.

I look at Claudia making herself comfortable in bed.

I get off the bed and  to the living room. Taeyeon is sitting on the couch. I sit down beside her. Without saying anything, she wraps her arm around my waist and hugs me tightly. She is still crying. Aisshh, Claudia is really good at making her patients cry.

The next morning, I wake up with Taeyeon lying on top of me. We actually spend the whole night on the couch. After calming her down, we talked a bit too. We ended up falling asleep on the couch. My back is killing me with her whole weight on me. Claudia you are so going to massage me, it’s your fault. I try to move my body but suddenly shadows appear over my head. I look up and see Claudia and Tiff staring at us.

“Help” I whisper. “My back”

Claudia and Tiffany laugh at me instead of helping. Taeyeon is still on top of me and worst she’s drooling on my chest. I can feel wetness on my chest.

“Pleaseeee help me!” I hiss at them.

They try to stifles their laughter but it just burst out. Their laughter wakes Taeyeon up as she stirs on top of me.

“Good morning Tae” I look down at her sleepy face.

She rubs her eyes and takes her time to stretch.

“Tae Tae, get up. Your weight is killing Kel” Tiffany still giggling comes over to grab Taeyeon up.

Taeyeon stumbles down from my body. She rubs her eyes again and gives another round of a big stretch. She opens her sleepy eyes and look at me.

Her vision drops on my chest instead of worrying about my back

“Omo chang pee hae”

She saw the wet patch on my chest and quickly hides her face in Tiffany’s chest. Tiffany embraces Taeyeon in her arms and chuckles loudly.

“Oooh my back!” Claudia helps me up from the couch. I give my straining back a stretch. A loud crack can be heard coming from my back. “!” I shout.

We end our morning having breakfast together. Claudia makes us pancakes. My back is still hurting and Taeyeon is still embarrassed the wet patch she drooled on me.

“Take care both of you. Be good! Call us if you girls ever come to Australia” Both Claudia and I take turns to give them each a big hug at the door with our bags.

“Ne!” Taeyeon and Tiffany answer together.

“Bye!”

Hotel

“Oh yah that’s the spot” Claudia is massaging my back.

“Hey it’s Taeyeon’s birthday tomorrow, you’re not going to get anything for her before we go back?

“Nah. Concentrate on your massage please Claudy. It’s partly your fault”

I did prepare something.

“Taeyeon ah, a parcel for you”

“Kamsahaminda oppa” Taeyeon takes the parcel from her manager. She unwrap it carefully. A note.

I walk into the gate leading to our flight back home with Claudia.
