Sungmin's POV

Umma is buying me a bunny. She promised me she'll buy it today after she finished grocery shopping. Appa is working right now so Kyuhyuhyunnie is at my house to take care f me. I didn't tell him I'm getting  bunny. We ae playing "Snakes and Ladders." Kyuhyunnie is ahead of me but I'll catch up.

"It's your turn," he said and handed me the dice.

I rolled 5 and moved 5 spaces.

"You're on a snake. Go down," he said.

The snake went close to the beginning of the board.

"I don't want to play anymore. I hate this game," I whined and turned away fromthe board.

"But we're in the middle of a game," he said.

"You're the babysitter. You're supposed to play whatever the baby wants to play," I said and pointed at myself when I said bby.

"You are a year older than me so I'm the baby and earlier you told your umma you don't need  babysitter because you're not a baby," he said.

Oh. I forgot about that.

"I'm hungry Kyuhyunie," I said cutely and changed the subject.

"Ok, let's eat. Your umma left us food," he sad.

We went into the kitchen. He opened the refrigerator and took out the food. He put the food on to two plates and gave me one . I took a bite. It's cold.

"It's cold," I told him.

"You want me to heat it up?" He asked me.

"What? How? Do you have magic powers that heat up foof?" I asked him in amazement.

Kyuhyunnie stared at me then shook his head.

"No. I was going to use the microwave," he said.

What's a microwave? Why does he always say big sciency words? He took my plate and put it in the box thingy. Maybe that is a microwave. He went on his tip-toes and clicked buttons. The plate moved in it.

"Woah," I said amazed. 

I went on my tip-toes and watched the microwave. I beeped and scared me. Kyuhyunnie took out the plate and placed it back on the table.

"Thank you," I said.

"Your welcome," he said.

We began eating our food. This is so yummy! Umma cooks very good.

"When is your umma coming? She's taking long," Kyuhyunnie said.

"I don't know. She had to get something after she went grocery shopping," I said.

I smiled at the thought of having a bunny. Bunnies are so cute.

"What is she getting?" He asked.

I was about to tell him, but the door opened.

 

“Minnie, Kyuhyunnie, can you help me with the groceries?” Umma asked.

“Yes,” we both answered at the same time.

My bunny is here! I helped Umma first before asking if she bought a bunny. Kyuhyunnie and I helped take the groceries to the kitchen. Umma as outside. She came back holding a cage covered with a blanket. She put it on a table and called us over. I jumped up and down excitedly.

“What is it?” Kyuhyunnie asked curiously.

Umma moved the blanket revealing a cute, small, white bunny.

“Kyaaa! So cute!” I squealed loudly.

“Oh a bunny,” Kyuhyunnie said and put his finger in the cage.

The bunny walked closer to Kyuhyunnie’s fnger. He sniffed his finger then bit it.

“Aah!” Kyuhyunnie screamed and pulled his finger out of the cage.

Umma looked at Kyuhyunnie’s finger.

“Aw it’s ok. Come on, I’ll help you clean this bite,” Umma said and took him to the kitchen.

I stayed. I stared at the bunny and he stared back at me.

“You shouldn’t bite Kyuhyunnie’s finger. He’s my best friend and you can’t hurt him,” I said.

The bunny wiggled his nose. So kyute!

“Aw, it’s ok,” I squealed.

Umma and Kyuhyunnie came back. Umma took the bunny out of the cage.

“I already put his food in the kitchen. I’ll put his litter box in the bathroom. Don’t put your finger by his mouth,” Umma said and left to set the litter box.

I picked up the bunny.

“Sungminnie. My finger hurts~,” Kyuhyunnie whined.

He held his finger in front of my face.

“It will get better,” I said.

I walked to my room with my bunny. When Kyuhyunnie was in my room I shut the door so my bunny can’t leave. I set him on my bed.

“What’s your name?” I asked the bunny.

“…”

Kyuhyunnie rolled his eyes, “Bunnies can’t talk.”

“Yes they can. He’s just shy,” I argued.

Kyuhyunnie sat on my bed on the other side of where my bunny was sitting.

“Don’t be shy. What should I name you,” I said.

I thought about a good name, but I couldn’t come up with anything.

“Kyuhyunnie~ what should I name my bunny,” I said with aegyo.

“I don’t know and I don’t care,” he said.

I stuck my tongue at him when he wasn’t looking. He took his PSP out of his pocket and played with it.

“I don’t know what to name you,” I told my bunny.

“How about Baekhyun?” I asked.

He told me that’s a weird name and doesn’t want to be named after food.

“You’re right. How about Bunny the Bunny?” I asked.

I think he likes it. He smiled at me.

“Kyuhyunnie,” I called him.

“Yeah?” he answered.

“I found a name for him. His name is Bunny the Bunny,” I said.

“What? Bunny the Bunny?” He said and laughed at me.

What’s wrong with that name? It’s cute like my bunny.

“Shut up!” I whined and stomped my feet.

Kyuhyunnie calmed down.

“Play with me and Bunny the Bunny,” I told him.

“No. I’m playing a game and he doesn’t like me,” he said,

“He does like you. Please,” I asked.

I looked at him with big, teary eyes and pouty lips.

“Fine,” he said.

I smiled. I grabbed his hand and pulled him on the bed. I held Bunny the Bunny.

“What do you want to play?” I asked them both.

“Hide-and-Seek,” Kyuhyunnie said.

“Okay. I’ll count,” I said.

“Count here,” he said.

He took me to the wall by the door and turned me around.

“Count to 20 and we can only hide in your room,” he said.

I nodded. I put my head against the wall and covered my eyes.

“Ready or not here I come!” I said.

I uncovered my eyes and looked around my rom. I looked under the desk, but no one is under there. I turned towards the bed and spotted a lump under the covers. I pulled down the covers.

“I found you!” I said to Bunny the Bunny.

“Help me find Kyuhyunnie,” I told him.

He hopped off the bed. He ran around my room. He stopped in front of my closet door and sniffed it.

“Is he in here?” I asked.

I opened the closet door and found Kyuhyunnie sitting on the floor. Bunny the Bunny is so smart.

“I found you Kyuhyunnie!” I said.

He pouted and got out of the closet. I closed the closet door.

“I’ll count now. Go hide,” he said.

“I found Bunny the Bunny first so he is going to count,” I told him.

“Bunnies can’t play Hide-and-Seek. They can’t even count,” Kyuhyunnie said.

“But he’s really smart. He can even count better than Hae,” I argued.

“Anyone can count better than Hae. Let’s do something else,” he said.

“Okay. Are you hungry?” I asked.

Before Kyuhyunnie could answer, his tummy growled. I giggled and held Bunny the Bunny in one hand. I held Kyuhyunnie’s hand with my free hand and went to the kitchen. When we were in the kitchen, I handed Bunny the Bunny to him. Kyuhyunnie crinkled his nose and held him weirdly. I helped him hold him correctly.

“What do you want to eat?” I asked Kyuhyunnie.

*knock knock*

We turned towards the door. I wonder who that is. Umma didn’t tell me someone is coming.

“Umma! Someone is at the door!” I yelled.

I’m not allowed to open the door. I used to be able to, but one day I opened the door and a creepy guy told me his name is Chanyeol and he has candy and bacon in his van. Umma looked through the peephole then opened the door. Oh, it’s Mireu!

“Hello Mrs. Lee,” Mireu said.

“Hello Mireu. Come in,” Umma said and let him in.

“Sungminnie and Kyuhyunnie are in the kitchen,” she said.

“Okay,” he said.

He ran to us and gave us a group hug.

“Hi Kyumin,” Mireu said.

“Huh? Who’s Kyumin?” Kyuhyunnie asked.

“It’s both of your names combined. Duh,” he said.

“Are you hung-,” I was asking Mireu.

“OMO. IT’S A BUNNY! KYAA!” He screamed.

“His name is Bunny the Bunny,” I said.

He bounced up and down and said, “Can I hold him? Please. Please. Please.”

“Yeah,” I said.

Kyuhyunnie handed Bunny the Bunny to Mireu.

“You’re so cute. My name is Mireu. Do you want to be friends?” He said to Bunny the Bunny.

Kyuhyunnie rolled his eyes and said, “He can’t understand what you’re saying and he can’t answer you back. You’ve been spending too much time with Joon. His stupid is rubbing off on you.”

Oh no… He shouldn’t insult Joon in front of Mireu. Mireu stared at Kyuhyunnie with his mouth agape. Then, he glared at him and looked as if he was going to say something.

“Let’s eat waffles!” I exclaimed before he could attack Kyuhyunnie.

Mireu’s face brightened up and he was back to his overly happy self.

“Yay! Waffurs!” He said.

Kyuhyunnie was unaware that he could have gotten attacked if I didn’t change the subject.

“You’re welkyume,” I said to Kyuhyunnie.

“Thankyu?” He said confusedly and tilted his head kyutely.

I took the waffles out of the freezer and put them in the toaster. Mireu stood by the toaster chanting, “Waffurs! Many many happy!” I took butter, syrup, chocolate syrup, whip cream, and chocolate powder out of the refrigerator and put them on the table. The waffles popped out of the toaster. I put them on a plate and put more in. Mireu and I talked about our pets while we waited for all of the waffles to be cooked. We were planning a pet playdate at his house. I want to introduce Bunny the Bunny to his snake, Reddy. The toaster popped. I took all the waffles to the table.

“Let’s eat,” I said happily and patted my tummy.

We piled our waffles up with toppings. Bunny the Bunny walked into the kitchen and jumped up onto my lap.

“Do you want some?” I asked Bunny the Bunny.

I tore a piece of the waffle and he ate it out of my hand. I put whip cream on the top of my finger. I moved my hand in front of Bunny the Bunny. Before he could it off, Kyuhyunnie grabbed my hand and the whip cream off of my finger. Mireu and I stared at Kyuhyunnie.

“Uhh…you had whip cream on your finger,” Kyuhyunnie said shyly.

“He knows that. He was feeding Bunny the Bunny,” Mireu said while giggling.

“He could have bit you, though. I have to protect my Sungminnie,” Kyuhyunnie said.

Kyuhyunnie is such a sweet dongsaeng ^^. It’s kyute how overprotective he is, but I can protect myself. I should be protecting him since I’m his hyung.

“I can protect myself from a cute, little bunny. But, thank you,” I said and hugged him.

Mireu made a weird sound that sounded like a squeal and fell off his chair. I ended the hug. Kyuhyunnie and I helped him up.

“I have to go now,” Mireu said and smiled widely.

“Why? You just got here like 20 minutes ago,” Kyuhyunnie asked.

“I need to write a Kyumin fanfiction,” he said then quickly covered his mouth.

“What?” I asked.

“NOTHING! BYE!” He yelled and left.

What’s a fanfiction? Maybe Kyuhyunnie knows since he’s smart.

“What’s a fanfiction?” I asked.

“I don’t know. But, I think I saw Ahra Noona reading a Kaisoo fanfiction,” he said.

“I want to read a fanfiction. Do you think Ahra Noona will read me one?” I asked.

“No, I asked her if she would read one to me. She said I have to be at least 18 to read the ones she reads,” he said.

I pouted in disappointment.

“Let’s go back to my room,” I said.

“Okay,” he said.

I brought Bunny the Bunny with us. Kyuhyunnie glared at him then stomped to my room. Why is Kyuhyunnie mad? I followed him to my room and left the door little open. He sat on the edge on my bed. Bunny the Bunny jumped out of my arms and sat on Kyuhyunnie’s lap. What?! He can’t sit there! Only I can sit on his lap! He won’t let Bunny the Bunny sit there anyways. Right? I waited for Kyuhyunnie to move him off of his lap. Kyuhyunnie glared at him and Bunny the Bunny looked up at him. He hesitantly poked his cheek. Bunny the Bunny shook his head and Kyuhyunnie quickly moved his finger.

He giggled and whispered,” Cute.”

My eyes widened. Cute? Kyuhyunnie can only think I’m cute! That stupid bunny isn’t cute! I stomped over to him and stood in front of him. I snatched Bunny the Bunny from him. I put him outside of my room and closed the door.

“Why did you take Bunny the Bunny away? I was playing with him,” Kyuhyunnie asked.

“Because you called him cute,” I said.

“So? He is cute. You called him cute, too,” ho pointed out.

“But you let him sit on your lap,” I whined.

“Why can’t he sit on my lap?” He asked.

“Because you can only call me cute and only I can sit on your lap!” I yelled and stomped my foot.

Kyuhyunnie stared at me, processing what I said.

“Ohh, you’re jealous,” he said and smiled.

Jealous? What’s that mean?

“What does jealous mean?” I asked him.

“Well, it’s what Donghae and I felt when we thought you and Eunhyukkie liked each other. Or how Teukie Ajusshi feels when he sees children running around,” Kyuhyunnie explained.

“So I was jealous that you like Bunny the Bunny?” I asked.

He nodded his head, still smiling.

“You know Teukie isn’t that old. He’s only three years older than us,” I said.

“He’s still old,” he said.

There was no use in arguing with Kyuhyunnie. I’m still a little mad at the way he now treats Bunny the Bunny. I think Kyuhyunnie noticed me sulking.

“Do you want to sit on my lap?” He asked me.

My face brightened up and I nodded eagerly. I sat on his lap happily.

“You’re so cute,” Kyuhyunnie cooed and pinched my cheeks.

“Am I cuter than Bunny the Bunny?” I asked while batting my eyelashes.

“Of course. No one is cuter than you,” he said.

“I think you are cuter than me,” I said suddenly shy.

Kyuhyunnie blushed and shook his head.
