Dear Diary,

OMG. I think I’m liking this guy in our school. He’s cute, he’s a good actor. He’s very polite. I like the way he thinks. He made it to the school play. Yes! But there’s one more thing I have to talk to you about. James has been acting kind of weird lately. It’s been bothering me since he agreed to do the play. Why was he changing? I better as Lauren if she knows anything. James is my best guy friend, I can’t see why he’s acting that way. And what’s with the saying no to Ivan. He was really good. I can say that he really deserved the role. Is he jealous that he might take his spotlight? Whoa. James, jealous? Haha. I think I’m seeing things. Oh well, I think I’ll be chatting with him tonight after I write to you… or maybe not. Maybe I’ll talk to Lauren instead, if he doesn’t answer me or if he’s not online I’ll just talk to Lauren. That’s it. I know what to do now. You know, this diary is really a great help in coping up with stress and boys. If ever someone reads this though, I’d scream my head off. Well, goodnight, got to shower now. Later!

After taking a shower I went to my computer and logged on to my YM.

iceprincess95: Hey James! You there? :)

aussiedude511: Hey Ann! Wazzup? ;)

iceprincess95: I just want to ask you something. Tell me the truth. Honestly, why did you agree to the play if you despise being Edward and the play itself? ;;)

There was a one minute pause. Then I saw him typing.

aussiedude511: Well, like I told you before, it’s our first high school play. I wouldn’t wanna miss the opportunity to be the lead. ;)

iceprincess95: I still don’t believe your excuse. :p Anyways, on Saturday wanna hang-out? Like before? Just the 2 of us? :)

aussiedude511: Sure! Where? Old place? :)

iceprincess95: Old place. ;)

And before I could ask him why he didn’t like Ivan to get the part, he logged off. He  still doesn’t wanna crack. I wanna know why. It’s time to ask Lauren.

iceprincess511: Hey Lau! Can I ask you something?

Lau_Reid: Hey Ann! Sure! :) What do you need? :)

iceprincess95: Uhm why is James acting so weird lately? He’s changing. Maybe you’d know something about it?

Lau_Reid: Well, you know guys, sometimes we can’t understand them. Maybe he really is changing. :) We never know. Or maybe he just wants to prove himself. :) It’s a pride thing. =))

iceprincess95: Oh yeah. I remember. A lot of guys are looking after their pride. Oh. Ego too. =)) Maybe you’re right Lau. :) Thanks! :)

Lau_Reid: Why are you asking anyway?

Why was I asking? I don’t really know too.

iceprincess95: Well, because he’s never acted that way before.

Oh well, maybe it really is just his ego.

The next day, their classes were a breeze. Everyone’s excited for their first play for the year.

“Ann! Ann!” Fretzie said catching up with her.

“Hey Fritz. What’s up?” Ann said.

“I’ve got a problem.” Fretzie said not meeting Ann’s eyes.

“What is it Fritz? Are you okay?” Ann asked worried.

“I think I’m falling for someone.” Fretzie said blushing.

“Really? OMG. I feel like I know who it is.” Ann said excitedly.

“Oh do you? Who do you think it is?” Fretzie asked her.

“Uhm, I feel like it’s one of our best friends.” Ann said.

“Yes, yes he is.” Fretzie said.

“Oh I know. It’s Bret isn’t it?” Ann said almost jumping up and down.

“Well…..” Fretzie said.
